| Well, he doesn’t have as much sauce as Bravern yet, but I hope he gets there (it’s pretty hard to beat a mecha that’s basically a force of nature). This anime is really good; it’s exactly what I expected it to be. The comedy is great too, but the question remains: who would win—Gelato 5, Dragon Keepers, or Kizuna 5? |

| THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN! This episode gave me nostalgia of watching sunday morning cartoons on TV back in my childhood. This is a homage to Sentai shows back in the old days, but with a modern isekai/comedy twist that makes it very unique and interesting. Red's design and characterization is very over the top and kinda childish, but it's the perfect embodiment of a shonen hero character. Meanwhile, Yihdra is the embodiment of a fantasy world character, and her dynamic with Red is very fun and entertaining. It's really funny everytime she gets flabbergasted by Red's ridiculous moves and comments about it unamusedly 😂. Even the robot and monster design, which is obviously not the best and I'm sure a lot of people disliked it, is kinda reminiscent to oldschool cartoons too, which imo appropriate for this show. In terms of a Sentai rendition show, I think "Sentai Daishikkaku" had a more interesting premise of a darker trope subversion of Sentai. But still, "Sentai Red Isekai" has its own very fun and unique premise, and this premiere episode is a very strong start! This show is definitely staying in my watchlist this season and I can't wait to see more of Red's adventure! Also, Yihdra is such a mood lol 😅  |

I can tell this was made with appreciation for Super Sentai. First off they got veteran Sentai Actors to voice the other members of Kizuna Five:
On top of that, their Sentai Robo, Maximum Kizuna Kaiser, has its gattai sequence set to a hot-blooded insert song by the living AniSon/TokuSon legend Akira Kushida, his discography for Super Sentai stretches from Sun Vulcan to Zenkaiger. That's one sexy mage... Red has such a fun dynamic with Yihdra who can't comprehend how all the clichés work; the spontaneous explosions when he does a pose (the second time she got caught up in it) and monsters exploding after finishing moves. Rule of Cool at work. The Kizuna Five's motifs being bonds gives some pretty wacky weapon and gadget names (like the scene where Red used the marriage theme weapons). His finishing moves resulted in monsters' drop items being burned www Are the rest of his team left without their beasts and robot since Red can summon for where he is? Being all about bonds and bold enough to just carry her away, Yihdra's at a loss for words. "Oh, dear. Milady's face has turned as red as his costume..." |

| Yea this was fucking great, no idea how it’s rated so low on MAL already. Power rangers meets isekai. Makes fun of a lot of Tokusatsu tropes through an isekai lens. It’s funny as hell, there’s MEGAZORDS, great action, what’s not to like?? One of the more unique isekai premises. Fucking lost it when Yihdra asked why tf there’s an explosion every time Red defeats an enemy lmaoo. When she got sent flying I was in stitches. This was just enjoyable as hell to watch. It’s so over the top and cringey, but it knows it is. Doesn’t take itself too seriously and Yihdra is basically an outsider reacting to traditional Toku gimmicks. Can’t wait to see where it goes from here. She’s so pretty too! |

| That was a very fun 1st episode. There were some really funny attack names. Tougo & Yidhra made a good team, she also probably has feelings for him now. I wonder if they will find eventually find 3 others to join the party and pilot with them? |

| It kinda funny how the mech CGI in a trashy isekai about a red ranger getting transported is better than the mech/monster CGI in a lot of modern Tokusatsu. |

| I've never cared for power rangers much, but this show seems amusing love the explosions to. Its so over dramatic. Also holy smokes the purple hair girl can't have a good isekai without a massive wizard hat. |
| That ruled. I haven't seen much isekai (just older ones like Inuyasha, Digimon, Rayearth) but I've played a ton of JRPGs and I love Sentai, so this is perfect for me. I like how, instead of having the main character try to adjust to the world he's in, he just continues to do his thing while the characters in the new world adjust to him. It's almost an inversion of the trope. It also moved along at a fast pace and kept my interest without really feeling rushed. Yeah, I'm into this. Really excited to keep watching. |

| It was a decent first episode. I like how Yidhra (aka Miss Big Oppai) reacts so casually to the Power Ranger shenanigans. It turned out to be as ridiculously funny as I was hoping it would be. However, I did start to grow a bit tired of the over-the-top Power Ranger references and antics. Hopefully, they'll gradually tone those down, as they eat up a lot of valuable screen time. |
| This is so cringe and I'm loving it so much, I was laugjing so hard with every super sentai reference. And I'm enjoying Tougo/Kizuna Red and Yidra so far, they have this stupid yet wholesome dynamic. If there will be a sixth ranger, that's gotta be Yidra, yeah? |

| For those who don't know, this anime is a reference to the famous Japanese Super Sentai series, not Power Ranger. Elements like the "V" letter, the voice-activated transformation device, the poses, the back explosions, and the names of the moves, all of them are common elements of current Super Sentai shows. |

| I've been very sick of isekai for a while now but as a huge tokusatsu fan who follow Super Sentai every year, it's hard to not be amused by this one. I think they will have to try hard to mess this one up because not only do I enjoy having the Sentai theme going but the relationship between this two is also entertaining with him spouting all these likes about bonds and love and her getting embarrassed and flustered over it. |
| That was just so much fun to watch, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I can't wait for next week. I hadn't read anything about the show so I wasn't even sure if the Red Ranger was going to actually be the Red Ranger or just some actor who played the part getting isekai'd. The whole bit at the start with the rangers pulling off silly poses and combining into some sort of Kaiser robot was hilarious, and then when they did it again later and Yihdra was just standing bewildered in the control room it was even funnier. Plus when she got sent flying from his henshin explosion, I totally cracked up too. If they can keep that sort of awesomeness going every week then this is going to be brilliant. |
