Damn, didn't expect the chairman to be the one holding Ayato's sister. I'm really curious about the friend guy who semes really shady. We knew he was shady since early on season 1 but it's great to see more into this subplot now. Needs more Claudia if you ask me.

Ok great all that effort to win the Festa and there's no meaning because Ayato will never get anything out of his prize request... That's fked up.

I don't quite get how the reformed Ser=Versta fulfilled the requirements of Ayato being faster than AR-D to be able to get one up on him. Also, why is Julis not at the prize ceremony!????

Ayato blushed at Sylvie's wink when he has never had any reaction to the other girls acting cute... that was surprising.

Great victory for Ayato and Julis. Ayato finally got his sword that fits with his fighting style.
Next episode names ''Lieseltania'', that means Ayato and the gangs will visit Julis's hometown. I am really excited for next week.

dat wink tho. I find it cute when Sylvie winked and Ayato blushed back.

Already had a bad feeling about that Chairman when he gave a bad look at Ayato during the start of the festa. I didn't buy his lies about the no evidence about that fatso.

The fight was predictable as many says. But it was fun watching it when he got an upgrade. Better than him losing. I skipped a lot of lame chatter like Flora's whining.

Seems like next episode the two are going somewhere. Yeah I know where they're possibly heading but I'm not gonna say it. Happy to see Sylvia again.

This episode was quite refreshing and enjoyable. But I would never give this a 10 as the second season has been slowly degrading story wise since the the begging of season 2.

I also dislike the pace of this show these last episode that fight with the androids was unnecessarily long and bland.

But at the end of the day it's still a great show just to pass time between the other shows on my list.

The fight scene felt so underwhelming to me.

And if you paid attention you could see the twist on the end come a mile away.

Still an enjoyable episode.

Hmm, not too shabby. I mean, Ayato getting an upgraded version of his weapon thanks to Julis..

Looks like the tournament arc concludes. A rather predictable outcome with Ayato and Julis winning but whatever. They definitely deserved the win after everything. Except for that shitty semi final match The Ayato and Julis bonding moments though.
Pretty much this

That twist with the chairman though =o

pretty much a given when he showed up in the show, plus a ton of clues were given in the previous eps.

The chairman was the guy who fought Ayato's sister right? so it makes sense for him to be involved.

RM-C has ulm manadite as it's engine, the same material the ogre luxes are made of :O
A 3rd robot is also in the planning stages, so it'll get even more powerful.

Yabuki kills the shadow ninja cause with powerful higher ups letting him stay alive is pointless.

The fight was dope, let's have a toast to victory.

So the Festa is over. Julis and Ayato deserved it, and that final fight was great. Loved this episode as well. Even though the Festa is over, there's still a lot more going on it seems.... Didn't expect the chairman to work closely with Dirk, though. And Yabuki is one shady guy as well, holy shit. It feels like the story's far from over.

Glad the Festa is over, kinda weird animation in this episode all things considered but now it seems like we're gonna see some more conflict that takes place outside of the school setting at last. I wonder if they are going to try and cover the entirety of Volume 6 in the last 3 episodes of this series.

As i thought, the last episodes will be dedicated to Ayato's sister, finally, we will know what happened to her.
That detective/cop is somehow related to Ayato's sister and he probably knows where she is and they are planning to do something to her, that's why he said they didn't found any evidence to that guy, they are friends or at least the share the same objective.

Ayato got a new sword design!! Finally xD That old square design was so horrible.
Saya trying to sound badass and scary but what everyone sees is a cute girl :3 Kirin as always is the cutest girl and that moment when she began to hide under the sheets because she was embarrassed :3 so cuteeeee omg xD

We finally saw Sylvia again, Ayato even blushed when he saw her xD I really hope there will be more of her helping them and maybe in the future she will join to Ayato's harem ;)
Great fight, Ayato as always being so OP xD I'm actually enjoying so much this 2nd season that i wonder if there is enough plot for a 3rd season, because if there is i would certainly watch it.

By now this anime is a decent 9/10 for me.

This was a good final fight between Ayato and that giant robot, and Julis still has a long way to become a really strong girl, but I really like the interaction that exists between her and Ayato, on the other hand Lester is a great tsundere, I think he was another joining the harem of the protagonist, and now a change of scenery, I'm looking forward to the last arc of the anime ..

You know things going down when Ayato switched his light saber from Mace Windu's to Darth Vader's. The dark side had cookies... ayato could not resist. The ep has that final episode feeling though it still has 3 ep's wonder how they'll wrap this up? I sure do hope its not a cliffhanger.

As a fan of the LN I cannot help but be majorly disappointed by the conclusion of this arc...
The one thing that irked me to no end was how they portrayed that final fight. First off, Ardi was embedded with the remains of the Grav-Sheath, yes, but his body wasn't able to contain all the power that it was emanating, leading to his cracked appearance. From what I remember, Ayato and Julis were getting pinned down by his relentless attacks leaving them no chance to breath or form a solid plan on the fly. The only reason why they managed to garner enough time to adjust the Ser-Vesta was only because the Grav-Sheath nearly destroyed his body and he was forced to stop in order to "cool down".

Secondly, Julis sustained way more damage in the end than this poor adaptation let off. She was suppose to have been knocked unconscious after the Ser-Vesta adjustment, leading to a one-on-one situation at the end of the match.
Surely if they'd properly adapted the fight, it would have been way more epic (though budget-wise it probably would have took it's toll, but still...). To be honest, I did not like that fight in the least. It was like watching an abbreviated highlight reel, and it annoyed the hell out of me.

The actual prize-giving ceremony was also suppose to be held immediately after the match (in another arena since they totaled that one), so I'm not sure if what we got in the show was just people re-watching the ceremony... or if they actually changed it to a few weeks afterwards (which really wouldn't make sense). That's the reason why Ardi and Julis weren't present at the ceremony (Ardi was taken in for repairs by Carmilla and Julis was in the hospital).

Other than that, all the important conversations were carried out as in the novel, and I'm just glad that they kept Yabuki's awesome-sauce moment in there, since it will tie in with stuff in the story later.

No spoilers up to now, since they also did the Haruka reveal in the novels as well. Overall they'd done decent with everything else, but the way that they toned down the fight scenes was somewhat unforgivable.

It wasn't Gravi-sheath but a different Ulm Mana Dite. Ayato said that it felt similar to Gravi-sheath as they were both Orge-Luxes going out of control but Ardi managed to control it though his body took a toll. I think that was shown and said rather well in the anime especially with all those big cracks and malfunctions.

Julis was conscious (at least from what i remember) but her hand suffered much bigger burns than shown in the anime. It still shows how dangerous Ser-vesta is since a Fire-user like Julis got burned by it.

Well considering the amount of information they put in this episode it can't be helped that the fight was done rather quickly. The main parts of the fight are fine in my book but maybe a bit faster pace and a little extension would have made the fight much better. They already devoted 5 episodes for this volume and managed to show most of the events so i will let them off the hook even though i got my hopes up because the earlier fights in the second course were pretty nicely done. Ayato's technique with Flaming Ser-vesta looked pretty cool animated though.

Went back to the novel and you are correct that Julis was still conscious.

However, I always thought that they implied in the novels that Dirk had picked up the shards of Grav-Sheath and presented it to Priscilla's team to use on Ardi. I'm actually pretty positive of this point, anyway.

Obviously it's a victory tour in Julis' country, even the preview title implies that.

The present was Ayato's inability to use Ser-vesta so Ernesta's group can get a much easier win. Ardi already had a Ulm Mana Dite core being restricted by Rimsi. Putting 2 Orge Lux cores would have been really really bad not to mention their personalities could be incompatible as well. Gravi-sheath core survived complete destruction and they were making a new one with the core (Dirk said it in the LN......can't remember where but it is mentioned).

I maybe remembering wrong though........i will take a look at the LN later.

The fiesta lasted for 2 weeks. I think they have different stadiums, so even if one is destroyed there are others where the matches can be played. Julies "explains" in the first season episode 2 or 3 but isn't very clear, since the series didn't spend any time exploring or explaining the world.

I KNEW IT! THAT GUY WAS WAY TOO SUSPICIOUS to be just another student. He was appearing so randomly out of nowhere and almost always when something happened. It was just too convenient to be coincidence.

I was wondering what they are going to do now that the tournament is over and we still have some episodes left. But now with that revelation I'm kinda hyped. I really hope we get to see a bit more of Yabuki and his true abilities. Even though I have doubts whether we'll actually see more of him. Probably only a few more moments but nothing special or revealing in any way :(
