I disagree, I think Aoba is fine how she is. She doesn't necessarily need to be more feminine as she needs to be more in touch with her feelings. It's clear she's already in love with Kou, but I think she's telling herself that she isn't. With Kou, I just don't see romantic love coming from him, and since we're already in his 2nd year of high school, and halfway through the series, I'm a little worried that they'll rush Kou finding his feelings, and then courting Aoba. What I don't want is a Touch ending.

What i mean is, there should be another male that fall to Aoba, and this time Aoba gets unsecured feeling towards him, unlike Mizuki this time she saw that man as a man not a cousin, and with that man we can saw Kou's side..

Touch ending? i don't know about anime but i know how the manga ended.

and i can see how you are worried this will ended like Touch, i hope not.

With Kou's lack of sense romance, i guess it's because his sense of guilty or responsible towards Wakaba's, because when Wakaba live Kou rarely show his romantic side towards Wakaba, reminded me of other forum, they asked "Does Kou really fallen in love with Wakaba?" honestly i think Wakaba's love is unrequited love until she died

I understand that, and it probably will happen, but it's a little cliche for me, so I'd like it to unfold some other way.

In the Touch anime,

If Kou feels guilty or responsible, then it needs to be explained because he has no reason to feel this way. I understand that his childhood friend/love died, but to be holding onto her so hard almost a decade later is a bit of a stretch. I don't feel like Wakaba's love was unrequited. Kou went along with everything Aoba said, and didn't seem to protest to the idea of her clinginess. But then that could be the result of cutting a lot of the beginning (if I remember people's gripes correctly).

Well i guess i won't watch Touch anime if that happened, they cut the anime way too earlier
In manga, don't read this, MAJOR SPOILER

But with this pace, i'm a little concerned too

Yeah he is way too much to holding Wakaba so hard, buying Wakaba's birthday present until now is kinda creepy to me

You know, I swore by Wakaba at the beginning of the series, and for a while it was what kept me watching. But I think Kou-Aoba has grown on me so much that I'm tired of seeing her. She also hasn't contributed anything to the story in a long while. It's always the same types of things in those flashbacks.

This is what happens when a character gets killed off in the first episode: shallow emotional attachment. It was moving/depressing at first that some tween died before she could marry her true love, and all the rest, but it got tiresome quickly. And now, 25 episodes in, the flashbacks have no value whatsoever due to the content being recycled. She's just getting shown so that she isn't forgotten about completely at this point. Maybe it was more powerful in the manga since Wakaba lasted until the end of the first volume, but that's neither here nor there.

On the emotional involvement/characterization front, Touch owns Cross Game into the ground because of Adachi focusing fully on fleshing out his characters prior to baseball, back in the day.

I'm willing to bet Kou and Aoba don't get together until the last episode, simply because Wakaba told Aoba not to take her man from her when she was still alive. Early on, I thought Adachi had learned his lesson from Touch and had decided to build a relationship from the start, instead of dragging out the romance aspect until the very end... but clearly that isn't the case. Sod all has progressed between the main two since the beginning, and more time has been spent on pointless in-house baseball matches.

Mizuki is still my least favorite character and I wish he would go away.

His character was only created for there not to be a third wheel in Kou and Aoba's relationship; further dragging out them getting it on. It's hardly a surprise that people (me included) dislike him - his role being to be disliked and all.

Still an enjoyable episode. Seishuu's coach knew they were being spied on, so I'm pretty sure they have something more that they haven't brought out yet... some skill development... or something... I hope... (Something besides Kou. He's great, but they wouldn't just rely on him 100%, would they? Even he is fallible...)

Spying is kind of low, but not cheating. It should be expected, almost. If you become a really strong team, of course other teams are going to try to find out your weak points. You just have to be prepared for it and constantly find ways to minimize those weak points... which is looks like Seishuu is doing, yup yup. Though the Sannou coach is a little too smug for his own good. XD He'll be put in his place, hopefully.

Kinf of a shitty coach at Ryuou if he can't bring back one of his player to his sense. To have to sacrifice your ace because of some other batter, that's one shitty decision that may lead to Seishi victory.

I say victory because I'm sure they'll win that match they're playing. Strategy is great to make up for the lack of talent, but when the other team is talented and great in decision, it become useless. Now that Koh will throw for real, it will put them down.

The other team has all the data about their players but I don't think that will be a problem.

- some baseball politics in Ryuhoo school club.
- Midori start to give up on Ahoba.
- Sannou spies on Seishuu and playing detailed game than strategy.
- though Seishuu succeeded on break through it's seems that Sannou still have some cards to play.

Those bastards got me, really thought the opponent team had an upperhand with their data.. to think Seishu just wanted to practice fielding while playing a match...

I wonder what other trick Sannou team has on its sleeve and if Seishu coach has something too

Lol Seishu has gotten so good they got multiple people spying on their training...

Looks like Seishu will be forced to adapt to their weaknesses now. Thankfully Ko already shows progress. This is going to be another interesting match.
