| It's like a glass of TTGL was spilled all over Needless! I think there is a high chance for this show to "break the unbreakable"! I know that the epicness in TTGL is almost impossible to surpass.... but you never know.... and i must say..... that was the most WTF!? ending i ever saw! not necessarily a good thing..... does anyone know how many episodes this show will have? |

| Funny how I only mentioned TTGL because of similar animation style (OK, screaming the name of the attacks, gar and ecchi might have something to do with it too.) A wrong move at my part, it seems. |

The episode itself was fast paced and full of action but it wasn't good, and when things constantly kept making me think of how bad of a TTGL rip-off this show was, it made it even worse. I might just watch another episode to either put the final nails in the coffin or to see if this show is worth watching. |

The music is terrible and not memorable at all. It's just random and shitty rock. This includes the opening. 2. The animation style itself is very choppy and annoying. Espically the attack names being plastered all over the screen. 3. The aimed age demographic appears low from the quality but then mature from the graphicness. Can't decide if it's a kids show or serious. |

| At one point I had to stand up to fix my shorts, and i couldnt really focus on fixing my shorts so i spent the entire episode standing up At the end my knees gave out... and then the opening came on... Now I cant stand or walk, and my blood pressure is 0 |
| After reading some of the discussion, I'm trying to figure out how it relates to TTGL at all. Aside from similar animation styles, it doesn't seem similar in plot or characters at all. Perhaps it's the over-the-top GAR action that occured? TTGL isn't the only show to do that though, it's just the most popular. | I loved it~ and of course, i noticed that it seemed similar to Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: the artwork, characters and even the plot maybe. After Blade's sunglasses, you must be blind not to have noticed rite? Why is that?? Are the directors the same people or something?? But it didn't make it any worse for me actually. It was pleasant to know that there's another anime that is willing to dedicate solely to good action and comedy, carrying the simple message that if good guys believe in something very hard, they are bound to come out on top, no matter how ridiculously powerful the enemy is... Of course the ending does deviate your attention from the message but oh well~ the ending is pretty lols anyway~ I would also like to add when Eve made Cruz cry by calling him Yamada while she was in his sister's form... rofl |

Besides the similarities in animation and a sissy main char that seems similar to Simon, everyone else is quite different in personality. Ok, Blade's glasses look a bit similar to Kamina's but if all you do is say "Needless sucks because it isn't TTGL" then you're just being an ignorant fuck. |

| Hmmm I thought it was going to be really bad, but the direction, animation, characters and music were very consistent in this first episode. I totally dislike the art, but apart from that, it was more than extremely enjoyable. Brainless but enjoyable. Will watch more. |

| I started to watch this because I was looking for a show that was cheesy, mindless and over-the-top for unintentional humour. It delivered with flying colors as far as that was concerned. Otherwise, it was pretty horrible with an almost-nonexistant plot and uninspiring characters. |

| I didn't like it. o_o I'll admit, I was hoping for TTGL V.2, but about five minutes in with me just staring blankly I realized that wasn't going to happen. Blade seems like a decent character. I never thought he was Kamina 2, but he does seem to have that potential something that made Kamina AWESOME. And it's only the first episode, so it's not like I was expecting much in character development. But oh my god, I want to rip Eve's boobs off. She doesn't deserve them. I don't think I've ever hated a character immediately like I did her. Blade I liked. Cruz I liked. Eve needs to DIE. She's like a retarded tsundere gone wrong. She just starts beating up Cruz without knowing what's going on, then she kept misunderstanding everything. The show was sort of redeemed at the end...almost. I didn't hate it as passionately as when the show started. We'll see. I don't make it a policy to drop during the first episode. |

| This show is a masterpiece. Screw deeper meanings and original characters. Whats the point in all that if it's not any fun to watch. This on the other hand is full of cliche, lame characters and is completely shallow AND it's fricking awesome. Actually I thought it was gonna be a dumb show when I watched this episode and thought "hey, this got a score below 7, no surprise" but after seeing half the show already I see it's definitely a masterpiece in it's own stupid weird way. |

| Lmao, quite a good episode right there. I was wondering how they got all these powers though. I'm also confused about these Needless. So, the Needless are the people with powers? Definitely GAR indeed. I'll give this Anime a try. Gave me some random laughs aswell. XD |
