| L is too weird. Light seriously owned the anime and seemed more realistic (L being a genius eating tons of sugar and wearing no socks?). Even when L died, I stuck with the anime. If Light had died, I'd drop the show immediately. |

| I vote for L!~ This is because I like his grungy look. I love the way he sits and chews on his thumb when he's thinking deeply. Plus his sugar cravings are awesome! Isn't it cool how he never gets cavities from it all?! Not to mention I would love to burn off the sugar I eat by thinking as well. I don't know there's just a weird vibe about L that makes him likeable =] Light... no way. I liked him in the beginning but then he was totally corrupted by the Death Note and his "good" intentions... He turned into a maniac and started killing off good people for his own needs [jerk!]. Although I have to admit I did like him when he went good [gave up the Death Note] - he looked cute there =] So yup L it is! My favorite crazy genius! |

I think he's so much cleverer than Light, who - apart from the whole losing his memories, regaining them and killing L and Rem in one fell swoop part - was playing catch up with a lot of luck along the way (why does the evil one get all the luck, eh? xD) Ah, I also love L's design - mecha kakkoi!~~ - and mannerisms; he's just all round a better character in my opinion X33 |

I read it and I didn't read anything there stating that Light is smarter. If anything throughout the series I though L was smarter. Light had the advantages of Ryuk helping him, Misa helping him, Rem helping him and access to the police files before he was even put on the task force yet he was still stalemating Light. | Never mind, I'm retarded. I was looking at chapter 13 and you specified volume 13. I'm gonna grab it now and take a look. Thanks for the info as I had the first 12 volumes and didn't even know this supplemental volume had come out. ***Update*** Hmm...according to volume 13 not only is Light more intelligent than L but so is Near. That gives me even more reason to want to ignore this volume. |

| Ah~ I was surprised that Light has more support than L! I normally hate the kind of person with a big ego, but for some reason, I really loved Light. They were both wrong in a way- Light because he was destroying life and L for wanting to stop uncontrolled justice, but Light truly made me happy.
