| Does anyone think that maybe each of the characters see there own version of Menma? I guess that wouldn't make much sense though. XD Anyway, I love this show and episode three was amazing! It's great to see complex characters too, rather then a bunch of people with one defining trait running around doing nothing. |
| Yukiatsu is a crazy ass bastard. The most messed up in the group. He probably did lie about being able to see Menma, because that fucker is crazy for her. And Tsurumi is his little bitch who'd do anything for him. And God DAMN this anime is so good... I can't describe it. |

| Why did I never even tought of Yukiatsu being the Menma seen by Poppo? I mean, I really do hope it wasn't him, tough. Of course there are people who are into that kind of thing, but it'd simply ruin one of the only two decent characters of this anime. I also think that what -Lunacie said has great chances of being true and every one of the others are hiding because they fear what people might think, altough then the story would be a lot more complicated... Just about the same level of complication as one of them being an insane crossdresser. But I had never tought this show would be so promising, I'm gladly surprised <3 |
| Yukiatsu can't see Menma or any version of Menma. Idk whats with Poopo seeing a Menma but i don't care if he can see a Menma Yukiatsu can't. I don't think every character sees there own version of Menma because do you remember in episode one when Menma yelled at Yuikastu he heared it kind of so why would he be able to see a different version of Menma and be able to hear Jintan's Menma no doesn't make sense. Yukiastu is a liar and trying to make himself feel important his trying to make it so that he was as close to Menma as Jintan was by saying he shes a Menma. Yukiastu a lying douche |

| Yukiatsu is the best chara there, he definitely knows how to catch our attention. I bet he is crossdressing. And ofc he cannot see Memna, he is just jealous of Jintan, which makes the show even more awesome because we have a love triangle with a ghost XD Talking seriously now, i dont criticize Yukiatsu. Jintan never went to school again and closed himself at home as a way of dealing with Menma´s death, while Yukiatsu also never got through Menma´s death and dealt with it in another way, but that doesnt mean he is wrong, everyone has their own way of dealing with the death of someone. Everyone criticizes Yukiatsu, but does everyone here realized how much he loved Menma? and how painful it was to see Menma falling for Jintan while he was just watching and being by her side always as a friend. Her death also devastated him. If Yukiatsu wants to pretend he sees Menma and if that makes him happy, ill support him. |

| lol @ crossdressing theory. XD Awesome episode. Anaru is really to easily influenced - she played along with her friends too easily - and the rest being able to see her.... right now i am under the impression of multiple ghost theory. |

| The pacing of this series is great. The old friends have already been reunited, so we'll have to see where it goes from here. Really liking Anjou's character, despite not really fully appreciating her character design (her twintail hairstyle is pretty weird, liked her design better in this episode though). Her character seems very realistic at least to me. |

| It's annoying the show continues to insult our intelligence like this. It would have been easy to assume Menma really was a delusion of Jintan's except for that scene at her home which proved she could interact with things outside of his presence. And yet everyone was gathered and neither of them thought to PROVE she was there by doing something, anything? Pull her glasses off? Knock something over? Anything? If this were any other show I would probably drop it for this idiocy but I'm looking forward to seeing what Yukiatsu does. |

| As much as I dislike Yukiatsu it seems he will stir up things, looks interesting. I don't believe him though. TheNiceGuy said: Anyone care to explain on how Menma baked muffins? | Without doubt the best show this season, and so far my pick for series of the year (yes, even over Madoka Magica). This series is pushing many, many buttons for me, and just seems to improve with each episode. One thing I truly love about this series is the tiny moments that show every character's quirks. One in particular that stands out is that Anaru constant attempts to 'follow the crowd' or, in the case of "I believe it's ok to believe [the wish]", to anticipate what Tsuruko was going to say so it would be more socially acceptable in her head. I've tried it (it doesn't work very often) so it's funny seeing it from another perspective. As for the 'other Menma' theory, I'd say that it probably is Yukiatsu cross-dressing. After all, he does have both the dress and the general strangeness, so it's possible EDIT: Just saw the pictures, it's definitely him. |

As a pairing fanboy I would be asking for an AnaruxJintan moment as well, but that may be too much, haha xD As a last word, I must say I just love this show. I see that many don't like the show or haven't heard of it yet...I'm not surprised to be frank, since by reading the synopsis, it doesn't really seems interesting and it isn't a mainstream anime as well...but I love it...now, I hope it won't disappoint towards the end. |
