| I got chills down my spine when we learn of the reason as to why Eisen had hit Stark Never really gave much thought as to what my top 10 anime would be, but with the way it's been going, I wouldn't hesitate putting Sousou no Frieren among them. |

| I think alot of people can relate to Stark here. Not because he is fighting a dragon but there are things in life that are scary but must be overcome. This was a good episode. Like master like pupil. |

| This Fern chick has no chill. First the Asuka look last episode and now that sick burn to Stark's poor lil man. 5/5 episode. Fight against the dragon was phenomenal but I also want to pinpoint the animation when Fern took a seat at the bar. Movement looked clean asf. |
| WHY in hell does that Dragon look so freaking good. I can't ever remember seeing a Dragon this well-animated ever before. I take it that even the Dragon was a coward in the end. How fitting. Also, Fern didn't have to be that mean to him. |

| So Stark was way more badass than he seemed at first! That whole dragon part made for quite the action scene, wasn't expecting Stark to solo it without any help from Frieren or Fern. Also wasn't that surprising that he decided to join them on their journey. Seems like they all get along together! Stark wanting to go on an adventure to have stories to tell Eisen was also heart-warming. Luckily they didn't have to wait there for two years in that place, even getting a hero's send off. |

| Man you can really tell when a studio is super passionate about a project AND the production is not such a hell world that they can actually continually pull off high quality sequences. The dragon fight was awesome. I feel theses days something like that would almost always be done via a cgi dragon. Anyway I fucking love this show and it's characters. |

| That dragon sequence was masterful. My God! |
| This must be the funniest episode yet. It was hilarious how Fern stuck herself to a tree to avoid playing tag with the dragon without Stark. Frieren was really cute when she was so happy that the dragon was dead. Her smile as she pat Stark in the back, her little jumping run towards the nest, and her almost taking a big ball's worth of magical items. And of course, it wouldn't be complete without Fern's straight-man retorts. Fern using the spell to look through someone's clothes and seeing Stark's you-know-what and immediately going so tiny was so unexpected but so hilarious. I absolutely love Fern's deadpan look, like the one she did as Stark made his way through the seedier parts of town trying to scrounge up information. And last but not least, loved Frieren's awkward movements as she attempted to avoid the inevitable permission for them to go through the checkpoint lol |

| The battle sequence with the dragon was clearly very well done but I really enjoyed the portion of the episode with Fern and Stark exploring the town. Stark definitely adds some much needed liveliness to the party dynamic and his English dub VA is really good |

| Huge fight between Stark and the dragon, the guy got the will to step forward, he was scared but it was thanks to that that he was successful. Going so far that he kills the dragon with one hit, without the help of Frieren, what a tough warrior! Loved the fight btw, so well choreographed |
