| Dude I love this show XD Definitely going to see this one through. Honestly just really glad this one isn't disappointing like some of the other anime this season. Like idk I've dropped a lot of them so far, but oh well, I guess that means I can catch up on anime from other seasons too |

| Looks like Brad was the one who gave Mash the realistic scar. To be honest, this Claude Lucci seemed very arrogant and self-absorbed from the start, which became more and more apparent over time. The way Mash was able to survive the trials was quite amusing. Especially since he could tease Claude with it. When the maze appeared, I wondered if the walls could even withstand Mash's power. Like Mash, we were introduced to a new character in the form of Lemon, who at first seemed a bit clumsy, but it was all part of Claude Lucci's plan to stall Mash in order to then fail him. While the Labyrinth Guardian's riddle is a very simple one, I can understand Lemon being overwhelmed by the pressure and not being able to get an answer out of it. I really had to laugh when Mash knocked out the Sphinx with his words that such a creature could not possibly exist. Escaping the maze, Lemon told the whole truth about Claude's plan, which roused him enough to launch an attack that was of course defused in a split second by Mash's "art" with wands. I'm glad principal Wahlberg stepped in to do the final interviews. Mash caught his eye beforehand and so it was not surprising that he had to be the first candidate. In this last test, we were able to see for the first time that there are things that Mash can't just destroy with his power. Still, it seemed to have come as a surprise to the Headmaster and everyone else present at how selflessly and without thinking twice Mash accepted injury to save the person he held most dear. Now the academy life could begin, in which Mash met his new roommate and hopefully new friend Finn. I'm pretty sure teachers will be pushed to the limit with Mash, but it will be just as exciting to see if Mash can survive without magic. |

| The starting was quite similar to Spy x Family when Anya went for the entrance exam. I'm really loving their comedy. Can't wait for the other students to get introduced. |

| This Anime is really having a pretty average start, does it not? It's not doing anything bad, but it still has yet to make anything exciting or interesting to look forward to: the protag, so far, is just being the usual emotionless and oblivious character, the side characters that were introduced this episode didn't quite make an impact, and the attempt to make a comedic duo out of the grandpa & the police felt quite rushed after the events of the previous episodes. |

| This series is turning out pretty slick. The main heroine is okay, I'll be keeping tabs on her role, even if the OP kinda gave a spoiler already. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |
| Mash is hilarious 😭 he keeps insulting everybody. The headmaster looks exactly like Dumbledore lmao And the place where they had the meeting gave me Harry Potter vibes So far I’m enjoying this anime |

| Yooo the music here is crazy, it's like the director did not give two shits about what works and what doesn't and went with his own instinct. Goofy beatboxing, whacky indie rapping, all creeping out of nowhere. I LOVE IT. |
| I thought he would just deflect the magic as usual but the way he broke the wand, ending the fight before it could properly begin, got me audibly laughing. Nice to see Dumbledore too. |
