XSEED has always talked about pushing for dual audio; however, they have mentioned time and time again that licensing fees have prevented them from doing so. I doubt XSEED would cough up the money to purchase the massive licensing fee for a remaster of a game that's currently not profitable nor would they spend the money to hire English voice actors to dub a dialogue heavy game like this all the while alienating the core niche audience that wants to replay Trails for the highly sought jp audio. |

| Fully voiced dialogue is a huge plus, but that doesn't really make the original version being unvoiced a bad thing in comparison, imo. The more "old school" feeling it gives off still has its merits. Estelle's seiyuu is definitelly a cutie tho, so then there's that. |

| I think it's mostly the fact that the game is 10 years old and costs ~$30, people seem to think age actually matters and you should be paying $10 for your 100 hours of gameplay just because the game is "old". FC did sell 100k+ so I don't think SC is gonna end up selling that little but it basically came at a really bad time, was poorly advertised and built up to, kept getting delayed, etc etc. |

| Indeed, too bad sales are not so good, though expected. The game is pretty old, was never really well marketed and too delayed which made people lose interest. Evo localizations would be nice, since voiced dialogue is really neat. I don't mind the new artstyle really. I am also worried about the Sen localizations since it will be released on PS3 which has been mostly abandoned in the West and the Vita which is was never popular. And yeah, license issues have been a problem with JP voice tracks in Falcom games, so I wouldn't know what to expect. Still surprised about Zestiria's sales on Steam. |

| I'm fine with it, just saying that's likely the reason. It's still a much better looking and more polished game than most JRPGs coming out especially since VNs with gameplay have actually become acceptable as games and devs seem to have gonne full lazy mode because people are ok with it. |

It's a serene game, and feels like it should be played at a leisurely pace... Plus I still have a fuckton of work to do unfortunately. Fuck college man |

| The joys of getting perma CC'ed in this game... you got stuns, confusion, sleep, etc. And to make things worse, they slow down your character so you have to wait 10 turn before it's your turn to wait for the CC to wear down... oh wait no the CC refreshed during the 10 turns of the computer... ARGGGG. oh did I mention I have to keep a stupid NPC alive while that happens ? Can't wait to see how that goes in Nightmare Difficulty if I ever plan on replaying this game. |

| Finally beat Sora no Kiseki: the 3rd/TC and holy shit it was pretty incredible. If anyone wanted a darker story but the same Trails in the Sky, this is the game for you. First and foremost, Kevin is a fucking badass. He is definitely tied for first place with Olivier as my most favourite character. I love fucking love his dialect/accent. Oh man, the country boy dialect is too charming for me. And lol at that running Gilbert gag. And goddamn, is Richard's second S-Craft fucking broken. Single target but the damage is huge paired up with a Tiger's Heart. Ended up going with this as my main party (although you are required to play all the characters in the last dungeon... Yes every single one): 1. Kevin (New S-Craft is broken) 2. Ries (Good mix of caster/melee, but mostly melee) 3. Richard (Highest burst damage in the game probably, I would say even higher than Agate) 4. Olivier (Zodiac+Support spells OP, besides he's Olivier, no one can replace his dialogues) I don't understand why fans of Trails in the Sky FC/SC are asking XSEED to skip the 3rd/TC when it is a really goddamn important game to the entire franchise. I mean there is so much foreshadowing and the back/side stories of each character really fleshes out the cast more, and make me love them even more. Felt so bad for Kevin and Renne. Honestly these two have the most tragic childhood/backstory out of the rest of the cast (excluding Joshua somewhat). Never understood why Renne was such a little psychopath until I got to the door that showed her backstory... Also you get to play almost all the cast from Trails in the Sky including the NPCs this time. But you also get to fight against special opponents like: Not only that but I mean goddamn all the ships that are practically confirmed by the end of the series: Agate x Tita, Olivier x Scherazard, Kevin x Ries (best couple tbh). I mean for foreshadowing and important plot points we need to know we got: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. TC was a great farewell to Sora no Kiseki. Goddamn, the ending almost made me cry. Everyone going their own ways but I'm pretty sure they will all meet up someday. I mean the plot hasn't ended yet and some characters such as Estelle, Joshua, Renne, Olivier, Kevin, Ries are 100% confirmed to show themselves in the next games. Well time to move on to Zero no Kiseki. Just wanted to share my feelings about the game. Such an incredible JRPG, wish I had known about this series sooner. And to all those saying XSEED should skip the 3rd, don't be stupid lol. |

The games go in this order: Sora no Kiseki FC -> Sora no Kiseki SC -> Sora no Kiseki the 3rd -> Zero no Kiseki -> Ao no Kiseki -> Sen no Kiseki 1 -> Sen no Kiseki 2 However, the events that occur in Zero/Ao are in the same time as Sen 1/2. As for people who say that skipping the 3rd is no problem, it is not 100% true (which I touch on in my previous post). Although the games do not 100% require you to play the previous games (as long as you don't skip the direct prequels, so for instance playing Ao no Kiseki without Zero no Kiseki or playing Sen no Kiseki 2 without playing Sen no Kiseki 1), however, they are all linked to one major plot point. The major plot point being Also there are things that carry over from the previous games such as: Besides some of the characters from the previous games carry on to the sequels such as Estelle, Joshua and Renne in Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki (not really a spoiler for those who played SC). But there is also a huge reveal of Renne's past in Zero/Ao no Kiseki which is: Olivier and Muller also carry over to Sen no Kiseki 1 and 2 as well. Since they are Erebonians with Olivier being a . When the final games come out for this series and Ouroboros' whole plan is revealed and the characters gather together, people who have only played a few games will be probably confused and will not notice most of the references. |

Tom from XSEED forums said that if they were going to translate the Zero/Ao no Kiseki series, they would most likely do the 3rd first. Seeing how the 3rd is low on text compared to the other games, it is most likely a possibility (I love the 3rd, Kevin x Ries OTP). Since Sen no Kiseki 1 and 2 is being released, the translations and dedication to those said translations will most likely be decided after seeing how well the two games sell. If Sen no Kiseki 1 and 2 can sell well like it did in other countries, (Falcom made the most money on Sen no Kiseki 1 and 2 compared to other Kiseki series), XSEED will probably not stop the money train. |
