Glad we got to see Elam, Alfreed, Kishward, Jaswant, Kubard, Narsus, and Farangis show what they can do.
Damn, Daryun vs Hermes! And they landed a cut on each other! Good thing Daryun had plot armor!

So Etoile sees Arslan "kill" the old Count.
And FINALLY does Arslan realize that Etoile has been that person all along.
I’m always searching for something, for someone. This feeling has possessed me I think, from that day… That day when the stars came falling.

Wow, great episode. Loved the Daryun vs. Hermes fight. I hope Daryun is alive. I think Etoile got the wrong idea about the old man's death. And now she's hell-bent on killing Arslan. I don't think Arslan is going to fight her now that he knows she's female.

Aaand that moment ruined this otherwise great episode ...
cuz you know... the overused "oppss it's not what it looks like" moment gave me cringey feeling

Fuck u etoile. How could u hurt elam? >.<
That doesn't make any sense! There were people there that could have hit her with a crossbow or something.
Anyway, besides my hate for etoile, i loved the episode. The fight between daryun and hermes was fantastic. But that magician guy needs to die. He is too OP

Super cliche with Estelle/Etoile walking in, misunderstanding Arlsan when the Baron decides to off himself.
the misunderstanding was really cliche. Inb4 more misunderstanding down the line.. The suicide scene was stupid too, though shocking, but I guess that goes to show that some religions are just stupid like that.

After 25 episode they finally start rushing things, I wished they rushed things in the beginning and showed us more about how Arslan changes the kingdom.

Behold of my awesomeness~
controversial and/or sensitive topics likely devolve into the same repetitive, derogatory, abusive, and harassing comments can no longer be posted.
But my feels.

Was all good except for the very ending. Of course there just has to be a misunderstanding right? That the fanatic kid would show up just in time to see the suicide and mistake it for Arslan killing that commander. Just for more forced tension and conflict. Forced and only made me sigh instead of getting on the edge of my seat.

Still fight between Daryun and Hermes terrific as was the episode overall so going into final I am relatively satisfied.

Oh my God... this might be one of the most epic anime episodes of all time. Daryun vs Hermes was so damn intense... and those nuns throwing themselves off the tower... holy shit, wow.

that cliffhanger too, omg. Everything is out in the open now. Everything about this episode was perfect. EVERYTHING.

Farangis not getting hit by any of those arrows... wth. lol. That scene made me laugh. xD

Glad Etiole's gender is finally revealed to Arslan.. kinda frustrated that she had to walk in on the count's death like that. Ugh!

Well this episode was actually quite entertaining. Especially the fight between hermes and daryun. However the ending was kind of misplaced because misunderstandings that appear like this are used way too often now. I expected this anime to be more creative.

What the fuck? Really? How did Kishward sortie with Arslan when the last scene with him in the previous episode, he was surrounded by Sam and the other Parsian soldiers under Hermes. Wow.. just wow.

Look at those Lusitaninans jumping off that tower. They think Parsians would treat them like animals once the siege was over. Because they do the same to them in Ectabana! haha fuckers.

Of course Etoile would misunderstand. Of course.

Dude, that was revealed like couple episodes ago. Did you completely miss the episode where Etoile spies on Arlan's camp and ends up encouraging him to be king?

Either way, how the hell did Kishward get back? Wasn't he like surrounded and close to defeat last episode?

And am I the only one having hard time accepting Farangis moment? There are like hundred or archers shooting right at her, and none of them hits? Like what? She is there, alone in the open and they can't hit... wow... talk about plot armour...

At least Daryun for once has lost. Too and Hermes took the idiot card and left the most dangerous enemy alive for his own selfish, dumb reasons.

The first part is not just exciting, the central one, good but with some damage, characterized by the excellent final clash between Daryun and Hirmes. Unfortunately after that thrilling moment, the narrative falls to me in the last few minutes, with that scene so obvious and thus spoiling the atmosphere that was created. In short, despite the great potential for improvement episode glimpsed, what a pity! Excellent soundtrack.

I'm sorry but Farangis walking into the middle of the room and apparently not getting hit by a single arrow is just bullshit. They also didn't explain how Kishward was able to escape being surrounded by the enemy. Then they end the episode with a shitty and predictable misunderstanding between Arslan and Etoile -_-

Damn. Etoile unfazed by that reveal and straight up attacked Arslan.

DAT Hermes and Daryun battle.

Holy shit at the women committing suicide.

I had to laugh at Etoile's figure looking like a girl at the end when she arrived at the door. It wasn't like that before, but I guess since they were going to reveal her gender to Arslan in that scene...they didn't care. lol

So much for Sam being a master at defending castles; no guards at any of the secret passageways, no defense against cavalry at the main gate and losing ridiculously easy despite a numerical advantage, but then all of Arslans battles so far have been marred by complete incompetence on their opponents side.

The fight between Hermes and Daryun was decent, but the resolution was so stupid. There's no a single reason he wouldn't kill Daryan after winning the fight. None.

The mass suicide of women. WTF o_O

From the preview,Etoile real name is Estelle.

The build up to the finale is quite good, very good sword fighting between Daryun and Sliver Mask. I hope best boy Daryun doesn't die on us.

There were some nicely executed dramatic moments in this episode, but i can't help but notice the weaknesses that accompany these moments and thus diminish their impact.Namely, the lack of even a pretty basic tactical mind in the "evil faction".Like you're defending a stronghold that's quite hard to breach unless there is an incursion of a small force or something.I don't even care for the presence of magic that muchanymore when confronted by aforementioned issues.

Other than that Daryun vs Hermes was a cool fight.Probably the best animation so far.

I would've been so mad if Elam died cause Arslan was like hurr hurr I'm good guy big friendly.

Then Falangies just walking out in a storm of arrows was cheesy AF lol

But I hope they clear up the whole misunderstanding of the killing of that baron guy. I hate the whole misunderstanding but never gets cleared up cause they never talk stuff

This series started off fantastic with the 'good guys' getting unexpectedly destroyed in battle but ever since then it's been entirely predictable and boring.

The main problem with the series is that there is no real drama. You just know the 'good guys' are going to win every single battle no matter how outnumbered they my be.

Then you had scenes like Farangis with the laughable divine 'plot armor'.

Or Hermes there with a chance to kill Daryun and seriously weaken Aslan's inner circle but he doesn't 'just cause'.

And the entirely predictable misunderstanding between Aslan and Etoile that will likely be quickly resolved in the next episode.

It's entirely obvious that not even a single main character on Aslans team is going to died which is incredibly unrealistic in a series about war featuring the deaths of thousands of nameless characters.

All in all quite disappointing.

it's a funny episode. and wow this is another level of ignorance by the lucitanians, barnacion and etoile included. their fanaticism narrowing their mind. what is good about their faith anyway? they said their religion treat all human as equal, but they made exception for those who is not a believer, those who is not a believer deserve to die?? how is that equal???? and when they got beaten by those non-believer, they killed themself?? wtf is wrong with lusitania and their faith....they are bullshitting themselves with that kind of teaching.

anyway arslan still as useless in this episode as the other. he only talk sweet words, it's always someone else who works their ass off. and his 0-face after barnacion killed himself is priceless.

i wouldn't like it if etoile would later become arslan's consort. coz that would be ridiculous.
