| I wanted to see more of Airi and learn more about the report but I guess that'll come later. Aww Aki is having those spasms again =/ it sucks to see her face like that. Though I guess one good thing that comes outta that is that Kaito actually shows some emotion in front of her lol. Lmao at Junna's pro karate moves. And Frau looks so much nicer with her hair down. |

| So predictable at the end. Even about the dad being a fisherman. It was a nice twist tho, with hopefully more to it than Subaru's dad wanting him to follow tradition/a "better" career. |

| Oh man, I really like how Rie Kugimiya is voicing Airi's genki side. I wish she'd do more of that kind of role... I think the recording on that tape was a reference to a certain event from the C;H VN. Though it may play a role in the plot, so I'm quite interested in what it contains. I lol'ed at Kona delivering that tsundere line with that odd voice of hers. Subaru's old man is scary. No wonder he acted that way around him and the others. |

Both sound eerily the same. Were you meant to say the song was used in Touhou? |

| Nice episode, I like even these where nothing plot-moving happens very much. I don't really get Subaru's father - he was talking to him about robo-competitions few episodes ago. I guess he was just testing him back then. My heart almost got crushed when he crushed Subaru's robo ;__; The Robo club is so colorful and interesting at this point, let's hope they'll get Subaru back. |

| 4/5 Episode that manages to give thanks to Frau interest and Subaru, not exciting at best, but a good starting point for future bets, then vote more than the top, but not the greatest! Airi is very nice! |

| At first I thought that Funi's subs for Frau's dialogue was pretty unnatural and out of place (in particular, all of the acronyms, which includes more esoteric ones that I had to look up), but after thinking about it for a bit, that's probably what they were intending to do. Even her non-acronym/netspeak dialogue is pretty strange (as well as strangely delivered), and the Funi subs just amplify that. Some other things about this episode: -Mizuka is way too connected to be a simple shopkeeper -Wait, if there aren't any brakes on the Tanegashi Machine how does it stop rolling when Junna picks it up? Maybe they added one prior to the Robo-one competition? -My initial reaction to the stuff at the end of the episode was "Where did this Subaru drama come from? Wasn't something about a robotics competition one of the first things that Subaru's dad said on screen?" I suppose Subaru's motive for having a secret identity is justified with this. This episode basically puts Subaru's dad in an entirely different light that he was presented in when he was introduced. Before this episode I thought the intent behind Subaru's dad's first lines of dialogue was encouragement, but it's clear that they were intended to have a mocking tone. This was kind of interesting, actually. I dunno, this episode was pretty alright. Robo club grows and Kaito goes into the basement, but it didn't really feel like much happened. |
