| That was weird. I laughed a few times, but eh it's okay. The only thing I didn't like was the action sequences, they could do without the comic-like backgrounds. I do like Oga already at least <3 Well I won't judge too harshly since nearly every shounen series has an average start. I just hope this doesn't bore me~ |

| I had a feeling that this show was going to be good, but not this good! The first episode really surprised me, I was laughing throughout the entire episode. It definitely is going to be one of the best of the season in my opinion. |

| Ogas as well as Hildas voices are just as I imagined them :) Just Beels voice sucks. It's kind of annyoing afterr some time. The anime implementation is nice made, even though I like the manga better - up to this point. But if the anime keeps up this way I'll expecting much. |

| not what i was expecting when i watched this, in my opinion none of the voices used matched the characters, and i cant say the art/animation did either, all in all this first episode was fairly disappointing to me, and i was looking forward to watching this. I'll give this a few more episodes before deciding to drop this and stick with the manga. |

| I didn't liked the OP, but the ED song was good. Katsuyuki Konishi as Oga. this should be great. Sawashiro Miyuki fits perfect as Beelzebub's voice, I don't get it why people expects to hear a toddler with a manly voice. I agree that the shocking was used too much, but aside that this was good. Now I want Kanzaki to appear real soon since he's played by Tomozaku Sugita. |

| Not sure how I felt about it. It was funny. But the whole time I was thinking, what, Pikachu? Also is the baby always gonna be naked? There was wayyy too much of that imo. Give him a diaper or something. |

| A great manga already it has allowed the anime to establish itself from episode 1, and what a good promising start it was, albeit some of the generics were included it is a shounen after all. I found the episode to be a taster more than anything and as we delve deeper into the characters it should become an anime of greatness. Anyway very good episode, the voices will take some getting used to but overall i enjoyed it1 5/5! |

| I loved this episode. I haven't laughed this much in an anime in a while. Can't wait to see more of this show. Oga was hilarious and when he kicked that demon in the face, I laughed so hard. 5/5 |

| Shounen show is Shounen! Best first ep of the season so far!! I loved it, laughed the whole time. So glad we have another just pure shounen comedy show!! Oga is like an evil Gin-san! With Furichi(Shinpachi) and Hilda(Kagura), this is totally like the polar opposite of Gin-Tama LOL! But why did Furichi have to grab the baby's junk? That was totally uncalled for, unnecessary, and just wrong! -1 Urahara Out!! |

| Judging from the first episode, this show will probably be pretty boring and a mixture of various mainstream series's. By that, and this may just be because I've seen lots of shows, I mean this show won't be very interesting or unique. It looks like this'll be a 12 episode series but a waste of time to watch compared to shows like ichiban ushirou no daimahou. |

| I think the anime ruined some of the humor in this first episode. The funniest parts of the manga are Furuchi's very unique Tsukkomi's and Oga's lack of common sense. But both of those elements are lacking in this first episode. I hope they stay more faithful to the manga for now on. |

| Seems impressive. The animation, voice acting, and music were all pretty solid. Introduction was pretty clear and easy to understand as well. |

| Now that's a great start to an anime! If more anime could start off with an introduction like that, and follow through the entire series, the world of anime would generally be a greater place. Animation was solid, voice acting was pretty good, and the genre concept is finely adequate! I think I might enjoy this series! Looking forward to the next! |

| This was either going to be funny or annoying as hell for me. Glad it turned out the former. Loved the voice choice for Oga, and I hope it keeps it up. Shonen comedy is more funnier when you know the characters well, so it might get even better. :) |

| lol Furuichi has bad luck to be around Oga. For a first episode it was decent. They rushed a bit to get the premise of the show settled, maybe they will slow things down a bit afterwards. This series doesn't have a lot of action, for me the draw is mainly the comedy. Not as half as good as Gintama's though! |

| I loved it. The humor was great, the voices were good(and for those who are complaining about beel's voice, he's a litle baby, how manly can he sound?)and i love the OP. The only thing that's bothering me a litlle is the animation but since this is probably going to last 100 episodes or more i guess it can't be helped. |

Try reading the oneshot of the manga and see what you think, or OVA of the anime (If it ever gets a translation). If I were them, I would've just skipped this episode. This episode was virtually a retelling of the OVA series. There were a few changes made. Like Oga's entrance to the school, his narration and a few minor scenes, so obviously they weren't that amusing. I mean how can you pull off the same thing twice, with the same material? I personally prefer the OVA/Oneshot over Episode1/Chapter1 simply because it was a very good opening to a possible potential show with the execution being far better than it's successor. That's what I thought anyway. I don't know why they just didn't skip it, but I seen this coming when the OVA series was announced. I knew it was going to get an adaptation of the oneshot. And after that we would hear an announcement of the series. And I also knew how people would overshadow the OVA and blow the first episode. It was all written in the prophecy! But I don't blame you guys on the OVA part, I blame those neglected translators! This episode wasn't necessary, but I guess they wanted to follow the canon from head to toe, which is good and all but since they screwed up in the manga, why screw up in the anime as well? they had it in their possession, but they still got hit with the ball. |
