| They are so close they honestly could make it official and no one would bat an eye. Gojo is such a great partner after all, he skipped school to bring her medicine and make her rice porridge. The cosplay world is a real eye opener for Gojo, he helped Shinju cosplay as a guy last season, but I guess it never occurred to him that it could go the other way :D |

I would also include Wonder Egg Priority, which was an absolute production disaster with some of the staff workers looking like the dude who directed the last season of Attack on Titan at MAPPA. Oh yeah I forgot WEP had a crappy ending too. I think this time CloverWork's trio is different cause all 3 are romcoms (at least I think Bunny senpai is romcom, I didn’t see it and have no interest in it). The only disaster this time is Kaoru hana being in Netflix jail for some reason. I hope there won't be any other disaster. Anyway, I hope CloverWorks will try doing 4 anime next time to really up their game. |
| Awww, Gojo taking care of a sick Marin was so adorable. And so was Gojo trying to 'protect' Marin and her thanking him by a kiss on the cheek (of his costume). Unfortunately for Marin, it seems like she still has a long way to go before Gojo gains more confidence and accepts his and her feelings. Also, we meet a new (regular?) character. They seem to have an interesting personality and relation to cosplay, I wonder if we'll see them often this season. |

| We suddenly got introduced to so many new characters, I hope they keep appearing in meaningful ways. Marin and Gojo are one of the few couples that I really love to watch. This plot about the trap cosplayer is fun lol |

| ahhhh another great episode with gojo being such loving husband material and taking care of marin by protecting her (even though she didnt need it) also during her sickness. Man deserves a pat on the back. You go my boy. Marin tugging on his shirt to stay with her and saying his name again & again was adorbs. Also we got our first sort of kiss with marin rewarding him for protecting her, ill take it for now, my boy deserved that atleast. Also marin gettigng flustered later. SPEAKING OF ADORBS. AAAH MAN THE ENDING IS SO MARIN CODED. So cute af especially this part, They are just so fluff, it gave me diabetes  I just love it so much <3 |

| I didn't like the 1st half of ep 2 admittedly, still missing the better art style from S1 though animation continues to be really good. Least the 1st half of this ep did have that T-shirt moment, easily the best part for me in the 1st half. The 2nd half though was great and while I didn't care for ep 1's ending song, ep 2's ending song was much better and really catchy and as someone here said, Marin coded. Loved it. As for the cross player, did not catch that was the cross player everyone was talking about when ep 1 aired and shuffled the events of that and this ep until he said the men's room was fine. Then I immediately knew and would've known even if no one had mentioned it in last week's ep 1 discussion given I've seen a lot of cross players/cross dressers in anime. Glad they didn't skip this part of the story. |

| First half was a bit too clichee, with Gojo kun denying they're dating and Marin getting a bit sully over it. And then of course the getting cared for when sick thing. The second half was the usual cosplay stuff. |
| The team working on this at Cloverworks did not have to go THIS hard on the production quality of the anime but im pretty glad that they did because it turned out amazing! |

| Adorable and productive episode. I was wondering if we were ever going to see our cosplayers at an event instead of just doing it for fun, and we finally are, so I'm really glad. Of course, I'm rooting for Marin, but I loved Subaru too, so I hope Marin wins with Subaru as the runner-up! |

| Not its best episode, but the scene between Gojo and Marin at her apartment was really great. It looks like Marin wasn't prepared for being sick, and Gojo cutting class early to help her was so sweet. He did it without a second thought, which goes to show how much he cares for her. Just a really nice moment. The rest of the episode was kind of bleh. The cheap attempt at drama with the two hairstylists was eyerolling, but at least the little kiss Marin gave Gojo in the suit was cute. The last half of the episode kind of dragged. I could tell that was a dude in cosplay with how they set the whole thing up. He didn't talk at first, ambiguous voice, an emphasis on how good he looked. Pretty easy to call out there. But it looks like he'll be giving Gojo and Marin some new cosplay tips. |

Winter 2021 was a rough one for Cloverworks. I love this studio, mostly, but yeah TPM S2 and WEP did not land whatsoever. I didn't know they also did three shows in Winter 2022, but I know Tokyo 24th is not exactly beloved. Wasn't it one of those anime originals like WEP?
A more recent "failure" of sorts to me was their adaptation of Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi, which aired in 2024. It started off incredible, with the first few episodes having some really fun, poignant shot comps/directing, but it quickly fell apart in terms of production quality.
I've got high hopes for Cloverworks this season---all three of their shows are shows I really like. I hope they can finish strong.

| The karaoke segment was very entertaining. Marin's friends are super cool: I liked that they wanted Gojo and her to start dating, although it's still a big challenge with Gojo's low self-esteem. At least she stood up for Marin when it looked like some guys were flirting with her (it turned out they were just her stylists). And honestly, saying "you should date me instead of her" is a great way to throw someone off. Still, that confusion left Gojo very nervous. She scored a lot of points, though, especially for taking care of Marin when she got sick (seriously...I need the Marin shirt Gojo found!). We also met a new cosplayer, well, this time a male cosplayer. If I hadn't recognized the voice of the seiyu, Amane's character, I would have been fooled by his appearance. And yes... I want to see those breasts too 👀. |
