| They really threw Nagi from Blue Lock another male character in there just to avoid making it sound like the clichest harem setting ever but it doesn't help, it's still the clichest harem fantasy ever. The younger sister confessing even before the truth was out speak numbers, tho. And was definitely the best possible way anyone could think of to ruin someone's birthday, their parents should've promised to tell them when the youngest became 18 at the best. I'm too curious to know where this will go although I think I know LMAO |

And like 10 mins in and already feel bad for the Arata in this scene like it was so warm and beautiful but also lowkey cruel  but at the end its just another harem..... |

| The cast does a great job voicing their characters! Unironically enjoyed the manga for this one and was looking forward to the anime (though at the same time I was dreading hearing about the announcement a second time..^^'3). The OP was decent but I prefer the MahoAko one as far as NACHERRY OPs go. |

| Damn, the pseudo-incest community on MAL is strong these days judging by the comments. I can't be the only one who disliked this, right? Doga Kobo though. They generally do good work with art, animation, production, etc. All the technicals were pretty good in this. I will probably stick with this one for those reasons even though the story and premise is far from my kind of show. Forgot to mention, the dad is a complete dick. Like, I know he was waiting until the younger one turned a certain age to make the announcement, but goddamn it couldn't wait until tomorrow? Dude just straight up ruining the birthday celebration for no reason, lol. |

| Wasn't sure what to expect going in but I like the production values thanks to Doga Kobo, especially the character designs. Regarding the storyline, I'll see how this unfolds but so far it's decent. About Kotono, it kind of sucked to find out everyone is adopted on her birthday but she apparently didn't care about that as it sounded like she had confessed to Arata that she liked him before finding out. Also, with now everyone knowing this fact I wonder how long before the other girls like Ouka make a move... |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| The story is boring & unrealistic, i mean just look at their hair + eye colors, no one in the right mind would believe they're all siblings. Would make it slightly believeable had this set in fantasy setting, but no this is real world and the scientist sister rambles out genetic science facts every now and then which makes it even more unbelievable how come she never noticed their obvious physical differences. The supposedly comedy aspect isn't better too, i dont find slapstick gag routine involving physical bullying funny at all. Frankly the only way this kind of fake-sibling setting entertain me is if it's ecchi or hentai given how gorgeus they are, otherwise this would end up so boring i'll probably drop by 3rd episode & look for its +18 doujin out there instead |

| From the mangaka who made RAG he came out with this amazing peak of a series called The Shiunji Family and ong this was such a solid start man Im definitely gonna enjoy this every Tuesday, all the siblings designs look great, this man Reiji definitely knows how to design his characters man bc why do his designs always look good???๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ฝ So we got Arata who’s been confessed to by Kotono by my guess since thats what the siblings were hinting at racking his mind over how to feel about his family members and shit and tbh at least bros not like Kazuya he’s straightforward and knows how to speak up when needed, we come to find out at Konomi’s birthday dinner that they aren’t actually related which is a shocker. (I went into this knowing this weren’t siblings tho everyone on twt was saying the plot twist left and right but tbh I don’t mind I’m more focused on who Arata is gonna choose๐) and now I’m guessing all the “siblings” are gonna start feeling something for Arata since they’re not even related at all and im all for it fr๐ฅ Idk who’s the finest girl man let’s go down the list, as of now I really like Minami bc I love tomboy anime girls and her green eyes and hair are such a nice aesthetic to her design which I love seeing on an anime character, Ouka and her pink twin tails and blue eyes are such a great combo as well same with Banri’s orange short hair and purple eyes, Seiha big blue eyes and hair and big glasses go so well on her and she’s lowkey kinda fine with her cold smart attitude and lastly Kotono being the youngest one is the one I also love the most along with Minami, there’s something so cute about Kotono’s design with her ponytail and yellow eyes, she might be the cutest girl in the show who’s also a loli WHICH I LOVE๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐๐๐ฅฐ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐ฝ Kotono hugging Arata’s back while she’s naked was SUCH a bold move on her part man like you go girl fr๐ซฃ๐คญ The opening is a fucking BANGER this shit getting added to my playlist after I’m done writing this, and bro Doga Kobo is such a goated studio bc why do all the girls look SO PRETTY? | Really bad writing and I called the twist a mile away 3 minutes into the show. The typical setup of "hey dude, let me explain who you are" then "yeah dude, I am this, but here are my faults and..." to "hey make sure you know we are siblings so that the twist will totally catch you off guard" over and over leading up to the "twist". I know it's a sin to be watching dubs by ironics but some of the dubbed lines sound like the VAs aren't even in the same room together. And yet I'll probably keep watching this heap of trash. |
| this is more unrealistic than isekai anime, which would not be a problem, but it's incredibly dumb on top. after Shiunji, gave the short summary gave about the girls "has many friends, popular with the girls" I had enough, if you introduce your characters in such a shabby way, I don't need more of your story. It's an insult to anime audience, the twist is hilarious, but I don't want to watch a story with so many love interests. |

| Rent-a-girlfriend was a dumpster fire; but a watchable one. Can't lie, was always excited for the latest episode. And now, we have this: The Shiunji Family Children. I'm expecting another dumpster fire, but perhaps an even more watchable one? Based on first episode impressions, yes it just might be. Heck it seems wholesome even. All the characters so far are not annoying whatsoever and are quite likeable even imho. And it helps immensely to not have a kazuya-like-character as the MC. And despite all being in the same family, it is significantly un-weird-ified by the reveal we get that none of them except for the twins are blood-related. I think this makes for some potentially good story-telling actually. Shion put it best right there at the end of the episode: what happens now that the siblings could actually marry each other? Guess we'll find out. Anyway, animation is solid, good stuff from Doga Kobo, and Ouka is easily the best girl hands down it's not even close. If they all end up with feelings for Arata, she better win dammit. Don't pull a quintessential quintuplets on us now buddy. She's also voiced by Rie Takahashi which I didn't know before hand. Massive W. Also Shion describe all the girls to Arata like he didn't already know was so stupid. But thanks for letting us as the audience know at least. Excited to watch the rest. Glad I've decided to wait for anime to finish airing before watching instead of watching weekly. Binge-watching is the way to go. |
