| The philosophical discussions between Badeni and Oczy show that Oczy is actually a bigger picture thinker than the supposedly more learned, but also more selfish Badeni. Then, Oczy shows his mettle and talents by facing down Nowak and his inquisitors. 4 down, it's time for the 1:1 show down (next week). Argh! Right now I just want Oczy to prevail against the brainwashed religious establishment nutjobs. |

| PLEASE DON’T TAKE OCZY FROM ME! That whole episode was super tense! I love how Oczy was finally able to understand why the heretic and his mentor were able to die with smiles. Now Oczy is willing to become a stepping stone for Badeni, who he disagrees with on how they should spread this knowledge. It isn’t about preserving his own ideology, but rather leaving hope for the future. Maybe Badeni will have a change of heart or maybe he won’t. It’s all left in his hands now, which is part of the beauty of passing it on. Badeni is searching for a “definite truth”, but in order to find that, he needs to allow his research to be criticized just like that old dude did before he died. I hope Badeni learns to evolve from this, because he did seem genuinely sad that Oczy was sacrificing himself. He wouldn’t admit it, but he’s definitely grown attached to him. (9.5/10) |
| Reality has changed over the centuries. In the past, truth had to be based on blood, but today it is based on data theory. Memories of yesteryear are hard to remember, even though centuries have passed. Great episode!! The pendant seems to be the key point of this story. kekeke |
| Of course, how would Nowak reveal his real job towards his own daughter, and the tip of the diary being written by Piast that confirms the research of astronomy, Badeni is quite stoic that he would allow Nowak to see his research, because he knows that they're in the clear within Catholicism. That's until he saw Rafal's orb necklace...and honestly, I thought all hell would break loose, but Nowak played it off as the norm. Both men were lucky to evade capture, and have to move out quick and burn whatever's necessary to conceal their traces, leaving nothing but the most important needed to continue this dangerous work. Oczy thinking otherwise that heliocentrism is a stretch to prove right, the hope that came from the stone chest that'll transcend generations passing the torch when it comes to research, it's the stance that would cause one to lose faith over what should be right in the first place. But it's too late for the men, as Nowak comes on the Inquisitors' carriage with clergymen, forcing them to take measures against the father who is on the verge of a revenge against them poaching his own daughter towards heliocentrism. It's do or die for Oczy knowing that he's going against the Church, not before Badeni reciting the Lord's grace on him to send him off to a fiery battle. It's bad that the clergymen have next to no battle training sending themselves to death, leaving Nowak to dsal wih Oczy himself. The battle for one theory that would change the Earth, it's the gamble of life. |

| Dammit they talk too much, just escape already! Tho respect to Oczy after all the time, he manage to have a good talk to Badein especially about passing the torch, sharing knowledge, hope, and, faith. I know sacrificial contribution kinda needed, but not with how they just late for several minutes smh.... Alright then, Oczy kinda be pretty much be done at the next, he's so cooked there, but the faith still respected. So let's just see how far Badein manage to get out of the shithole to the south-west. Or shall the torch gonna be passing over to another great person again? |

| This might be the best episode yet. Who would've thought Oczy would actually speak his mind and lecture Badeni? And what’s even more surprising—Badeni was willing to listen. By now, everyone should acknowledge Oczy as the best protagonist of this series. |
| Looks like this the end of Oczy. He wanted to go to a unitersity but now that might never happen, as he already lacked the skills in his previous encounter against Nowak. Badeni will have to get out of there quickly as well, if he's caught, then he's sure to burned at the stake. Oczy was so cool in this episode and the moment when Badeni pray for Oczy's entrance in heaven was masterfully executed. |

| Now that truly was ABSOLUTE CINAMA! I thought nothing would top ep 3 or a few of the later eps but this one really peaked. Everything culminates in perfection, like a pieces of a jig saw puzzle coming together to fit satisfyingly. This shit was INTENSE. It's incredible how people just talking was so god damn edge of the seat. Oczy's development in such a short time was incredible. Badeni the badass was also shook. Nowak is a bastard, but a bastard that's really fun to watch. Reminds me of Tsuda's other psychothic role, Ogata from Golden Kamuy. Speaking of Tsuda, he absolutely killed it here. You can feel the bloodthrist in his voice. They really chose the wrong man to piss off. Ironically he's like the devil himself. This surely is a treat as I did not expect the level of thrill and just reallly goood writing. Actually screamed at my screen as the cut of like that before the best part. uiefgsdefsdfg. |

| Nowadays we know that heliocentrism is the right answer, but we need to place ourselves in the story's context, I think most of us would be either on Nowak's side, thinking these guys are indeed heretics or be like Oczy who realizes there can be mistakes even though he believes in heliocentrism. This is also why Badeni's character is extremely interesting as being fully convinced in this context is admirable. Now they need to escape as Nowak understood about the necklaces and came back to get them killed, poor guy who was traumatized because of his brother's death so he didn't mind at all killing heretics, in the end he didn't want to die for that and ended up dying slipping on his sword :( what a cliffhanger though as Nowak is starting to confront Oczy, I believe Oczy will die from that though, sadly. |
