About this anime
| I loved it, its good to see that Japan can still make content that make sjw trash lose their mind. Love seeing pencil dicks getting triggered, reading reviews like abystoma2s really gave me a laugh, plus people like Eanki that keep reeing over it being a cheap power fantasy show. So what if it is? |

| OK... I just got to this series, it was on my "to be watch list" (offline doc). Was watching episode 1... And I just realized I actually read some of the Manga before, and dropped it, LUL Then thought about why I dropped it and realized the entire series sucked and majority of it is based on violence and rape... (same reason why I dropped Shield Hero and Attack on Titan, yea, looks like I am against majority of the populace... I just don't like extreme violence and series that starts out with rape regardless if it was the only rape in the entire series.) |

| I just don't understand why they didn't make a hentai. It's totally one. It's just fetish fueled torture porn. It's like this hentai where the guy can stop time and take revenge on the girls who treated him like crap, and at the end he just use the power to fuck every women he found on his way because he became a total thirsty incel. Yeaaah, it's this hentai level of plot! but with even more sadism, and instead of like 2-3 ONA episodes it’s a whole TV show for the TV. It should belongs to websites like hanimetv & co with a Rx rating. They just didn't do it for the views and the better budget, they get more traction than a classic hentai because of that. Totally tricked the system. I just have one hentai in MAL (for fun lol), those "heavy ecchi" are quite annoying and ruining the rating system. Anyway, I'm wondering why I chose this for my AWC... bruh, I didn't sign for this. I wasn't expecting this level of horny  |

| So I finally got around to watching this series. Went in (sorta) blind having read nor watched any reviews but was well aware of the surrounding controversy. I'm going to echo the more positive reviews. I totally get why some will abhor this anime, and that's a natural reaction for someone who isn't into sex-laden revenge stories. But for what Redo sets out to do, it does it very well. I cut a point for some regularly interspersed janky cheap animation and a subpar soundtrack (although I like the ED) to give it an 8. I'd like to contrast the use of sexual content between this and Mushoku Tensei. Obviously Redo has the more graphic, depraved content but within context of the story and the anime itself, it weirdly fit better? It felt like it belonged there because that's the story it unashamedly was. In contrast, I felt like most of the sexual content in Mushoku Tensei - as tame in comparison as it is compared to Redo - felt forced, unnecessary and that the anime would have been just fine without most of it. I still rated MT a 9 for story, production value and being an OG. But yeah, Redo of Healer is not out to make any greater point, but it's a competently produced anime that takes revenge, sex and violence and dials itself up to censored/10. I respect the honesty. |

| @DarkRose1598 Sounds like you would like the manga better. The anime toned down a lot of the violence and added more sex. (the only exception is the first revenge, which is actually more detailed in the anime) Freya and Setsuna also get to do stuff. |

Yeah, I'd heard the manga was 'even worse than the anime' so I might check it out. I care nothing for more Freya and Setsuna stuff though. Does anyone know a good revenge manga/anime that doesn't revolve around sex every episode? |

Since I share similar thoughts, I hope you watched the TheAnimeMan's interview with RoH's author, Tsukiko Rui, gives more insight on his thoughts when making this. Seems like you'd enjoy it. Made a thread on it here: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1924902 The guy's pretty based, ngl, he took a concept that was fairly popular and he liked it, but felt like many were lacking, so he thought he could do better, explained his thought process, prepared himself for controversy too ofc, and he ultimately succeeded. |
| Garbage. Entire plot was just made to justify the brutal scenes that happens after. Nothing more than trash wank material. |

So I'm gonna agree with Eanki and say that if 1s are dishonest, 10s are dishonest. And also, this is not how people rate. Most people on MAL rate purely on enjoyment not objectivity. And thus if they really really didn't like the show, which I would understand because I too think it's god awful. Then a 1/10 would make sense. Just as the people who really really liked the show would give it a 10/10. |

| Hey if you watched GoT, Vikings etc, the only difference is its animated. Sex scenes were also ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Story was pretty meh but it's nice seeing things from a villain's perspective once in a while overall enjoyed it Rated it 8/10 |
