It's something to be decided on a case-by-case basis.

I always watch each at least once. Whether I continue watching them a few more times subsequently or even, in some cases, with each and every episode, depends on their musical quality and value to me, the corresponding animated scenes, and how evocative either or both as a package are of the series' story and themes.

It depends, if the opening and ending is good I don't skip them, but if I don't like them I skip them immediately

If I'm binging a show, I'll listen to the OP and ED the whole way through on the first episode, but then skip both until the last episode. On the last episode I'll listen to the OP and ED the whole way through again. (There's obviously exceptions to this though... because who would dare to skip Sugar Song and Bitter Step even ONCE)?

If I'm watching an airing show, I watch the OP and ED every single time. I only get to see it once a week, after all.

I pretty much always skip them because I don't like the spoilers in them and I think they are a waste of time if you are binging a show.

They are usually j-pop so skipping them is mandatory to me.

I rarely skip openings. But most of the time I skip endings. There are still few endings that are bangers like Jujutsu Kaisen, Youjo Senki, Almost every High School DxD.

Why the fuck would I not, especially if I'm on a big binge tbh.

What's the point of of watching, in most cases, same ass sequences a dozen or more times instead of watching new content from the episode... If I wanted to finish a one cour show in a day and watched OP and EDs every time, which will take up about 3 minutes per episode, I'd lose almost 40 minutes which could've got me to watch 2 episodes faster and then do something else.

Well, it depends. If the op is catchy, I would not skip it. If the ed is catchy, I would not skip it. If both are catchy, then I would not skip the whole episode. If the op and ed are catchy but the whole series are sucks, then I would throw it in the garbage

Usually skip OP/ED for shows I don't love and when OP/ED is trash. I skip ED while binging but otherwise I let it play in background while viewing episode discussion.

I don't have any hard rules for it. If the openings good I usually watch it, but if I just wanna watch the show then I'll skip it. I almost always skip the ed, by that point I wanna watch the next ep.

hmm, usually i'm not skipping op/ed unless i'm really short in time and i have exactly 20min to watch, but usually i'm always watching op, and though i'm not usually watching the ed, i'm putting it in the background but not skipping it.

there's times though that the op were so tiring me up that i'm doing the same with the op, hearing it in the background while doing other things.

I mostly skip ops that came from a long running series.
But if I do hear a good song I will jam to it on YT and will still skip it when it comes to watching eps. ┐( ̄∀ ̄)┌

I used to watch them with each episode years ago, but nowadays I skip them after watching them once, unless I really like one of them and want to just watch it and listen to its song (though I don't do that with each episode).

Depends on the show, if I like the song I play one of them or both. For example in Mars Red, op song was meh so I'd skip it but I always played ed song cuz I liked it.

Watching an anime without the opening or ending is like eating a cheeseburger without tomatoes or lettuce, both are sins (unless the op/ed is shit)
