My mother loves Yakitate!! Japan and I recall my dad watching a few episodes of Cooking Master Boy. Basically, my parents are into food-centered anime.

My brother watches anime as much as I do, so there's that.

My father presumes all anime is Pokemon anime(I love it though), my mother once said to beware of the messed up side of anime, and my cousin takes his impression of all anime from Highschool DxD.

My brother and cousin ( age 11 and 8 ) watch all the Dragonball Series, SAO, Street Fighter and Tokyo Ghoul, but they always say they don't like anime ( -____ - )

As for my aunt, she probably despises it.She's more into KPOP and teases me for watching anime. My uncle says, " Anime is for weak people... "---- and he has memorized every character from Dragonball...

No, I couldn't even get my brother into Attack on Titan, the cunt.
He has the ignorant stubborn attitude of "Cartoons are for kids" and "I'm not reading subtitles".

Me and my brothers all watched DBZ and Yu-Gi-Oh when we were younger, but yea, that's about it.

I am a family of 3, excluding my parents. No my parents dont watch anime, they classify all of it as Naruto and Pokemon.
My little brother watches a bit, and my twin a bit.
I am the only avid watcher. However, I am trying to convert my twin brother to Anime, I got him to set up a MAL account. And he watched Mirai Nikki and Death Parade (like bloody and psychological shows) but managed to make him watch some Slice of Life anime, and cute anime.
So far, as I said, I am the only one in the family that watches a lot of anime

With the exception of my dad, if my family members ever watched anime (however brief the stint) it's almost guaranteed it was because of me. My dad was an anime fan as a kid... in the sense that he really enjoyed a lot of cartoons that (he had no idea) had Japanese roots. But I'm not sure that really counts...

There was a time my younger sister was into anime... but that can be attributed almost exclusively to the fact that she was in that stage where she wanted to do and like everything I did.

And my brother watched nearly all of Soul Eater with me. And he saw the occasional episode of other shows I watched when we were growing up, but in my family it's sort of always been, like, my designated field. Anime was my thing. (Though I certainly would have welcomed them into my little fortress.)

My parents don't care so much though my dad use to watch more the action films and older stuff, stuff like Ninja Scroll and whatnot. I'm sure they don't mind Ghibli films, heck, I first watched Princess Mononoke because of my dad.

Almost everyone else in my family does, even my little sister in first grade, just the other day I saw her watching Yuuki Yuuna dubbed on netflix or something.

My sister used to watch some anime with me in the past and then got more into it and started watching it on her own, now she isn't interested in anime anymore.
Also my uncle watches anime, and we even happen to watch the same things at the same time without even knowing, I always find it funny when I find out
My mum watched some series with me when I just got into it (I was about 12 years old) to make sure I don't watch anything suspicious xD

My mom watched Speed Racer with me when I was a baby but besides that not really fans. They will check out a movie or an episode from time to time but would never go out of their way. My dad likes to joke and call all anime I watch Pokemon. I guess because I used to come home from school as a kid and have to turn on WB to watch Pokemon every day.

So I guess accepting but uninterested is the way to put it.

Well, yes, I used to watch Naruto on tv with my father when I lived with him, and my mother watched too.
Then I have two uncles that watch anime too, one of them (brother of my father) watches Naruto and Fairy Tail, and I know that he and my father watched Fullmetal Alchemist too. And the other watches Naruto too, Dragon Ball and Hunter x Hunter 2011.
But yeah, all my uncles used to watch Dragon Ball when they were young.. And my grandma likes to watch Pokemon with me xD
And my cousin, that watch anime regulary, like me.

In my family only my elder brother. We occasionally watch some random seasonal anime, but nothing more. He's also the one that got me into this kinda stuff, but nowadays he's not as interested as me in manga/anime.
As for my dad, he doesn't really say anything about it, and for my mother, she doesn't really like them, but she's also ok with me liking this kinda stuff.

My dad hates it, but not just anime, any japanese media because of the languaga which I think is a little racist. I watched a Mushishi episode with my mom and she kinda liked it. She thought the background was pretty and laughed when a random baby started crying opening a huge mouth.

In general, no. However, there are a few shows that my parents liked when I watched them as a kid. My father go into things like Vampire Hunter D whereas my mother liked Inuyasha.

Growing up it was my older cousins that got me watching anime so I do have family that likes it but not particularly my parents or any of the older generation family members. Now that I have grown and am married I watch anime with my wife.

Three of my brothers regularly watch anime. My dad's indifferent (but seems to at least get the medium's appeal--enough so that he blindly purchased Mushi-Shi for Christmas), meanwhile, Mom had grouched about anime in the past (she has good points about it, but she probably got most of the mindset from the 90s when anime was generally labeled as "violent pornography"). She doesn't mind the art, however, which is part of the reason why she'll watch Studio Ghibli films. She has watched CLANNAD, Vision of Escaflowne, Kanon, and most of Serial Experiments Lain with me, and with exception of SEL, she liked them, and Cardcaptors is probably her favorite (or at least the movie is--I think she may still like the show even after being told everything the dub didn't show/tell). So she's a bit more lenient about it these days than when I was a teenager, but she still has disdain for most anime (anime like Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and InuYasha).

My cousins think anime is dumb and for retarded kids.

My parents don't give a damn.

I tried showing my sister some, FMA : B (good show for casuals) and Mushishi (bought dem DVDs) notably, she watched 2 episodes of FMA : B and stopped when I told her there were 62 more. She stopped watching Mushishi after the first episode and told me it was too weird for her taste.

I mainly watch anime with my cat now.

My mum just tolerated it at first, until I showed her a few anime.
Now, she's a fan of Attack on Titan (and Eren for god knows what reason) and likes Tokyo Ghoul as well.

However, she is now convinced that 99% of anime I watch are hentai since she walked in on me watching a Yaoi OVA. Everytime I go to my room to watch something, she gives me this "knowing" look, and I'm just like, "no mum, I'm not going to watch any porn...not all anime is pornographic as you well know".

I've never really mentioned anime around my parents, but once while I was watching Cowboy Bebop subbed my dad walks into the room, stares at the tv and asks "Is that not even in English?" I tell him it's Japanese and he just call me weird and walks out of the room....

So TL;DR = Nope.

One of my older brothers is into it and one of my cousins is a fan at times. Its a bummer because I always feel like people are messing out on truly great shows just because they think anything made in Japan is automatically "weird", "not right", or "childish".

Call it a fantasy world but I'm always hoping the right girl that I meet will be into it though. Its always a lot of fun to watch them with other people and talk about favorite shows.
