Nope.

I learned everything on my own.
Just need to find out how to quote this every time so I can dodge the stupid 30-character limit.

I figured everything out myself about sex and as far as puberty stuff goes I just didnt have any confusion or concerns over myself so I never noticed.

My dad did make an attempt to have a talk with me but like way too late and it was pathetic. I was like 14 or something and hes like "your body going through changes and stuff and it may concern you" and im like nope too late I was thinking and he just sorta trailed off didnt really have a full talk it was just him spacing out as if he was forced into it or something.

My mum discussed it with me and my sister when we were about 13.

Although I already knew generally what it was before that anyway.

We talked about it naturally through the years (me and my mother are like bestfriends). The most close to "the talk" that I had with her was when I went to get birth-control pills for the first time and she made sure I knew everything I had to know and remembered everything she told me about it through the years. It wasn't awkward at all.
There's no such thing as a painless lesson.
They just don't exist. Sacrifices are necessary.
You can't gain anything without losing something first.
Although if you can endure that pain and walk away from it,
you'll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle.
Yeah, a heart made fullmetal.

My mom gave both me and my brother the talk while we were on vacation, sitting in the hot tub. It was quite awkward though since we were all in the hot tub together. My brother wasn't dating anyone at the time and I was in a long distance relationship with another guy.
My mom was pretty chill about it, but it was weird cause she told us that if we ever decide to have sex, to ask her for condoms...needless to say that none of us ended up having sex till we were both past the age of 18 because while we're both pretty close to our mom; the thought of asking our mom for condoms was pretty embarrassing.
Though he still has to ask since he's still living with her and he's much to embarrassed to do it himself. Too bad it usually means that whenever I come to town for a visit that I'm the one that has to go buy them for him;;

My parents never did, but the one who gave me "the talk" was my older brother. Which was probably better imo.

There weren't any particular sexual concepts that I broached upon on my own. I wasn't even interested in confirming my ideas about the anatomy of it all until I was about 14 years of age, and I did so by consulting medical websites. It was a rather sanitized process for me. My father handled it correctly, I believe. Every now and then he'd make a blanket offering to "explain anything" to me, as he had often when I was younger, except he began to hint to more specific topics of sex/drugs/rock&roll etc.

When I was around 9, I asked him what the word "Fuck" meant. He didn't respond then and I dropped the subject, thinking I was better off not knowing.

At about 10, a friend of mine introduced me to the concept of "boobies". I hadn't thought of them, or that they were significant at all; it was just another feature of the body (might as well have been eyelashes). It took me a few years to put any personal investment behind the idea.

I still don't care about sex.

No, I guess they just figured they would let the school do it. But it's not like it's hard to figure out that penis+vagina=baby unless you use a condom.

Never. Where I live (Europe) it's considered taboo before 18 years old. My parents always told me all the time "we will tell you everything when you're 18, it's too early for you now". So I learned everything from friends and media and am still learning now. And even after 18 never talked about these things with my parents. So I think children shouldn't learn about it from their parents because it can leave a trauma on the relationship.

@naens in England, which is also in Europe, the age is 16 lol so grouping all of Europe is wrong.

Anyways, no my parents didn't, and if they did I'd laugh at them and walk out the room. The sex ed lessons at school were class, so many lewd jokes and so many awkward moments. They even made everyone put a condom on a dildo like thing, while sat in a circle and everyone laughing.

no.. never. When I turned 18 (which was around 2 weeks ago) my father brought be to a bar together with my cousin. There's no "the talk". Because I know that he knows that I know a lot than him. Even so.. that going-to-a-bar-with-your-father thing is more awkward than the "the talk". I don't know I just think I'd rather drink in a bar with my friends.. not with my parent. awkward as hell.

The internet taught me everything i now know. Sex, science, life, politics, religion, etc... And that was a very long time and i was very young so i kinda never gave anyone any room to teach me anything, not even school, well maybe school taught me like 10% of what i know, 90% i learned by myself.

We are on the "internet revolution", nobody have to teach you anything, only thing you'd need is a little bit of help from someone.
