| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The majority of the first half with Mr. Craft wasn't as funny, but the whole figuring out the password and Osamu still couldn't figured out the one girl just had me going. :D The whole start of the 2nd half of them being in the RPG world was just had to be really great and hilarious. They are right doing a RPG for real is something your not supposed to do, but I couldn't help laugh at how the person who greets them in town keeps saying the same thing. xD Was also great when they decided to grind for levels and got to hook on it and ended up leveling up too much. Let's see if they have what it takes to help the King out. |

| While I'm not a fan of this "all-wacky" style of humor, Level E manages to still be entertaining since it at least gives the kids a bit more characterization than most all-out wacky comedies would, and the jokes can actually be kind of clever to RPG culture and all sorts of other stuff without just feeling like they are thrown in for the sake of being wacky like most comedies. Still, I'm more looking forward to some of the later arcs in which the series gets a bit more serious again while combining it with good humor, which probably won't happen again until around episode 9. Either way, though, this is the only anime that I'm personally getting any enjoyment out of this season, since just about everything else that I have checked out from this season so far is quite dull, IMO. Anyways, to be honest I actually kind of liked the part where Kraft and the kids were pretending to fight by making battle noises and Kraft pretending to yell for help in order to trick Prince Baka into thinking that they were really fighting. The way it was executed was done quite nicely, as you could tell that Kraft was really irritated with the prince more than usual, and didn't really give a crap about keeping the key away from the kids. The next 2 episodes should be quite good for anyone who likes a good parody of RPGs and such, otherwise people who prefer the style of the first few episodes probably won't find much entertainment until probably episode 9 when the show has a more semi-serious arc again. Oh, BTW, did anyone else notice how this arc was foreshadowed in episode 3 when Miho was playing that game at the end of that episode? It showed the 8-bit versions of all of the Color Rangers. |

| So far, Episode 4 "From the DARKNESS" has been the best episode. I hope there are more episodes like that in the future... But even so... that episode was also ruined because of the unexpected ending. This show is kinda mediocre, at the start it felt like something new... now it's not even remotely funny. EDIT: Also... so far i guess the best thing to some out of this Anime is the ED sequence. |

| I didn't like last episode a lot (hu, i still gave it a 7), but i thought this episode was more interesting. I usually find myself to like things when there is some development and time spent on characters which is why episode 4 wasn't all that fun for me. I bet that the rest of the show will be short arcs revolving around Baka and his crew just like this. |
| I like it when people animators and producers deviate from the "stock anime harem" plot, and really take a chance. This anime is one of the best this season. Go! Color Rangers! Fight! Color Rangers! lol |
| So I almost peed my pants when I heard Daisuke Namikawa singing "Color Rangers go!" That pretty much made my day. Also, even with my little experience with RPGs, I still found this episode incredibly entertaining. I have to say that the big head things were kinda creepy though... |
| The first few episodes of this anime didn't really pull me in, but the more I watch the more I like it. This is my favorite arc so far. |

| Ouji actually has a nice voice, I'm intrigued. Seems like this arc isn't over yet, kind of a pity, since I would have liked to see Yukitaka and his crazy expressions triggered by Ouji's antics again. Oh well. |

Actually, assuming that this anime will continue to follow the manga's arcs in order, there will be yet another (slightly more serious in tone) arc that lasts about 2 episodes before we see Yukitaka again. I understand that people find his absence strange since the beginning was kind of misleading and made him out to be the main character of the series, but really this particular series has no main character....except for Prince Baka. Still, without trying to spoil too much for others, you can all rest assured that we will still get to see Yukitaka in this series again, and not just for a brief appearance like at the end of episode 4. ;) |

That and the guy crying over the creepy character saying welcome was awesome. The fake fight was cool too. BTW i want to thank the makers of this anime for the awesome Alien teacher fanservice. She's such a babe. I still wonder what the hell is that crazy prince trying to achieve by playing around with those kids. I hope he wants to get something more out of them than just the joy of trolling them. His stupid hero speeches and Rangers songs are so lol. |

| The stupid song - and the kid telling the prince to stop embarrassing them - was the best part of the episode, lol. And of course, Craft - that man is hilarious. It's not a bad episode, but I really miss the first arc with the punky baseball player. |
| I found this episode to be mildly entertaining. The scene where the kids desk split in half was pretty funny, the part where the rich kid was naming of tons of girls and of course all the parts with Kraft really. I just hope it doesn't take too many more episodes on this arc with these kids though.. The 'leader' kid is really annoying and too much of them is just going to really dull the show.. I'd like to see a lot more interaction between kraft (fav character so far) and the prince. |
