There is slow pacing and slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow pacing. This is practically like one fifth of a real ep, so much filler shots. Just go on hiatus for a few years so you can actually make some decent episodes. The only problem is avoiding spoilers but you know that's already impossible to start with

| I was loling at these scenes, like really? The staff must have had some introspection about the irony. The slowed down pacing really cuts into the intensity of the situation. The 5 elders look like slow, bumbling gag villains compared to how insanely fast, quick-thinking, and imposing they were portrayed just a couple of episodes ago. And I'm not talking about the "facts" of the plot progression, like how half the Straw Hat team worked together to deflect Spider-man's first attack barrage. That's totally fine and in line with character development and growth. Oda's work is great. What I am talking about is the execution of his work, where putting in triple-digit frames of Spider-man glaring angrily instead of replacing all of those with fluid animation of Spider-man actively moving and taking action in the world, ends up portraying him as a lumbering, physically slow, and ditzy side-villain. Just to point out one example among many where the drawn-out pacing changes the entire way certain characters come off. Even at the start of One Piece which had the old form of filler, non-manga'd original arcs of half a month to a month long (2-4 eps) between major arc turning points, those were at least fluidly animated with characters who were meant to be intimidating or imposing coming off as such. This new form of filler leaves no room for that to survive. |

| Loved the Sanji vs Nusjuro scene and the crew protecting Robin <3 It's gonna be fun seeing all the oldest One Piece characters reappearing in the new animation style with all the cuts around the world |
| Don't know what I was expecting, but all the land sinking into the sea wasn't one of them, interesting... Good to see that clown Sanji with another underwhelming scene once again, even Bonnies was better. |

| Loved the episode! First and foremost, the ending was an absolute banger. Second, the world is going to SINK? What the heck, Vegapunk? I don’t remember seeing a single spoiler about that on any of the social media apps I use. But why though? And how? I can't wait to hear more next week, goodness gracious. |

| hmm this is episode felt really slow, making the elders look not so intimidating. and i just heard the news of anime going on a break again. only to reproduce one chapter per episode content again... i don't mind if they take 1 or more years to make episodes with 2 or more chapters in it. because this just make the story look bad |

Watching this episode after hearing about the news of One Piece going seasonal!!!! This is the beginning of a new era from 2026. The broadcast is about to begin finally. That took a while. Oh boy, Punk Records really look like the cryofrozen incapacitated head of Vegapunk... very disgusting. SYRUP VILLAGE! We get to see the 3 boys in the anime after so long with Kaya and Merry! Egghead truly has become a hellscape. TWIN CAPES! Crocus and my lovely Laboon! Baldimore! Vegapunk's birthplace Franky caused the Nightmare of Baldimore? Birdie Kingdom! Where Chopper honed his skills Beehive Island! The entire world watches when Vegapunk is about to speak. Hahahahahaha, Mars really thought he could crush that snail and stop the broadcast Too many mic tests by Vegapunk. Lmao what was that with Sanji's woman radar. Bro actually got something great to do with kicking that Elder in the fking head Time for him to become a nightmare creature Oimo and Kashi to the rescue! Not the first extremely wild horse they caught :D Giant Bonney here we go!!!! 2 sins by Vegapunk huh The world finds out that Vegapunk is dead! Duval, Ceasar, Judge, Morgans, Vivi, Wapol watch on!
