| Yup, that's Monica still always being nervous around others. This is an extension of the previous episode so we got some BBQ, Monica working, etc. Claudia is starting to grow onto me with her role in this show. Didn't like her much at first but she has chemistry with the main cast including Monica. |

| Claudia is pretty interesting to watch, her personality is entertaining. She is a weirdo that much is obvious but she doesn't have any bad intentions. Isabelle got to play her roll of villainess perfectly this time and she did a great job, those girls where terrified of her. They were lucky that they were not charged with attempted murder. But i guess they didn't think they would get in this much trouble and all for an act of revenge. Love can be twisted and also blind. |
| Yea this author gets me. This is exactly how I like to see lying, cheating, manipulative people dealt with. Give them a taste of their own medicine, literally. Couldn’t ask for a better resolution to this Caroline Norn fiasco and I guarantee no one else will be fucking with Monica like that again lol. Rule number 1 of getting invited to a tea party by people who don’t like you, DON’T DRINK IF THEY’RE NOT DRINKING!! So Caroline wasn’t satisfied with getting off lightly after pushing Monica down the stairs so you compound the situation by poisoning her. Great 200 IQ play, dumbass. I mean what did you think would happen if you poisoned a student council member? The flashbacks to Monica father’s research being burned and her getting taken in by her abusive uncle really hurt to see. For all her powerful magic, she is really just a scared little girl on the inside who threw herself into magical research as a way of connecting with her father after his death. Thankfully Claudia immediately clocked what was going on and called out Caroline for the poison. Claudia was the 2nd best part of this episode. Kayano Ai is doing an amazing job voicing her and she’s such a troll. Love how she messes with Monica by calling her a little kid and how she teases her older brother Cyril. She’s great. “Even though I’m in the student council I can’t do anything right” STOP IM GOING TO CRY. Please don’t say that Monica 😭 again, goes back to how she’s just a scared little girl on the inside. Notice how the Prince really relates to that as well. Give Isabelle an Oscar NOW. The way she ate that villainess role up in that meeting oh my goodness. Caroline dumbass really thought her dad being a big school donor would keep her out of trouble lol. Congrats now you’ve ruined your dad’s reputation, your family position and made a fool of yourself in front of the prince. Not so nice having to drink your own tea huh, and the audacity to call a blatant attempt on someone’s life a “prank” GTFO. That’s how you handle a bully and I’m glad they did it in such a publicly humiliating way. I love this author sm. amazing episode |

| Damn, what am episode. So Claudia never had bad intentions did she? I thought she did when Monica was at the tea party with her but I guess not. Speaking of tea parties, DAMN did Caroline get absolutely humiliated. I was genuinely so happy that she got that treatment from Isabelle, and damn did Isabelle absolutely carry this episode. Shes great man. 5/5 |
| Amazing episode Lady Isabelle didn't show any mercy to Caroline and the other girls it was so great and satisfying seeing Caroline get humiliated like that. |

| Here's my weekly dose of Monica noises and Hitsujibungaku songs. Witch-burning and tea-party poisoning are strangely dark topics for this breezy, goofy show. But Claudia and Isabelle turned out to be pretty entertaining characters. |

| @Ahohite-killer I believe this is up to chapter 19 in the manga and 27 have been released to my knowledge so there is more. But if you really want to read everything and in more detail than the Light Novel which this anime is based on is the way to go. |
| Keeps getting better. Got it all this week. Laughs drama good character interactions some surprise reveals. Claudia is a very interesting character as is Ryn. And it was so good to see Isabelle back in the spotlight. She handled that situation just right. |
| Dang, maybe Isabelle was truly born to be a villainess but now I feel bad for her, she is willing to be hated and cursed for Monica and now we know more about Claudia, just how many more best girls can this show have, Lana could use a bit more of screen time now. |
| There's a foreshadowing in this episode. I'm excited for you guys to see it. It's the first time I really liked Isabelle's performance as villainness. In this episode, it's not to fangirl for Monica, but to protect Monica. |

| Isabelle perfect villainess.. Teach those scums a wonderful lesson. So proud of my girl. Didn't care anything about her reputation just to stand up for Monica. That's how loyalty works. Monica just walked into their trap but she only wants to fit in where she was ambushed. Poor girl. Claudia thankfully saved her. Really liked her character. The coldness runs in blood line but unlike her brother she is much enjoyable so far. Oh girl that squirrel isn't stealing your finance she is stealing your brother. Damn Niel is a lucky man. |
| Dam idc anymore about holding off on romance if they ever do it man I hope its between Monica and Cyril. Honestly though Monica even being poisoned is kinda surprising like she literally said at the end of the episode. Basically the end was just her being like "hold up im meant to be overpowered how tf did I nearly die?!" regardless though it made for a interesting episode. The stupid villainess trio got what they deserved, they really are just like your average girls who just do stuff without thinking. Really in that kind of situation you gotta realise what your doing, the consequences and potential family ties which could be hurt. They didn't account for it and took the blow. I really hope we see some more of Isabella though she's such a good character they need to make use of her more and Claudia's generally a interesting character the whole fiancé thing was kinda surprising to see. Overall a great episode. But man they kept Louis's servant waiting a whole week up there lmao |
| Death penalty, death penalty, DEALTH PENALTY! Isabelle and the prince giving what's her face what she deserves. I mean it was obvious none of her excuses were going to work but when the prince muttered that he can add defamation to the list, I smirked. Then Isabelle dropping by to add another layer to her just desserts, just great. I'm not sure if it was ever discovered in light novel or something but it's a shame nothing was ever done about Monica's tea being thrown in the trash from the previous episode. I never thought to look up the characters in the database to see Claudia shared the same last name as Cyril. Them being siblings never even came to mind, so that was a little surprising. |
| The episode was amazing! What happened with the poisoning incident piqued my medical curiosity. I won’t go into medical sources here since I’m not authorized to! But it seems to me that what was mentioned in the anime is correct. However, there’s a mistake! If you see someone who has been poisoned, call an ambulance and don’t bring any solution. Try to collect information, like when you get poisoned, how (like use a needle, swallow… etc), and bring the poison itself. |

| @d2rkest I suppose Isabelle just bullied the bully there. Prince likely knows this too but since bully fell for it, he let Isabelle torture her some more. I don't think they'd go as far as actually destroying her homeland. Probably some harsh penalties and punishments here and there, but the goal was achieved. Psychological damage + "don't F with the Nortons" message. Doesn't matter if bully family/homeland ends up being spared eventually, people received the message. |
| So it wasn't hatred or suspicion about her identity: what Claudia felt towards Monica was jealousy because she believed she was after her fiancé. I was surprised to discover that it was Neil (how envious I am of Neil now); they make a strange couple, but it's clear that she loves him. Claudia has a somewhat peculiar personality, but she's nice. Isabelle gave that bitch Caroline and her friends a masterclass in how to be a true villain; she gave them back what they did to her a thousand times worse. They deserved it for poisoning Monica. Isabelle has become one of my favorite characters: she doesn't appear often, but every time she does, it's brilliant how she pretends to be the villain, even to the point of being hated, just so Monica can live in peace. There was no action, nor many revelations about Monica's past (although there were some interesting ones about Felix), but for me it's the best episode so far. |

| Man, it's another Friday with Boc-I mean Monica and her sheinanigans, this time dealing with Caroline who in a "prank" almost got her killed. I'd say, the way Isabelle ended up dealing with her almost made me feel a bit bad for her... almost. Furhtermore, we got to see who Cyril's sister really is as well as who she's after and her sense of "humor" so to speak. But what was really funny was the messenger not only in her delivery with a serious poker face but her being left behind after all of this mess happened. I feel like this series by sometimes being unintentionally funny brings me more laughs than some comedy centric animes. |

| Finally, the best scene in story I read so far. Isabelle actually being true villainess was a joy to watch. And the three of them had extreme luck. The prince and Isabelle punishing them was not so bad when you consider the weight of what they have done. The Silent Witch, who is one of the Seven Sages and one of the most powerful weapons and general of the Kingdom, getting killed in a noble prank... Their entire family bloodlines would be purged. |
| It's good to see justice being served, and it's even better that they don't just pat each other on the head, just to destroy the county, I'm happy with the episode |

| Was Isabella just bluffing there at the end with her villainous side to Caroline or is the Norn family really fucked now due to her? Anyways, another great episode. I love how they showed that despite being the most OP witch in the country, Monica still has flaws that can kill her. Her meek personality and eagerness to agree and fold to others almost took out our main character here. Best part of the episode was Isabella though, I always love it whenever she comes onscreen with her cute villain acting. But don't make her angry because I could genuinely feel Caroline's fear during the ending there. I just love how much she adores Monica! |

| I've seen many villainesses in anime over the years, but never has a character portrayed a better villainess than Isabelle (and she's only pretending!!! Imagine if she was like this for real!!!). 😳 Our fangirl went from performing the classic villainess clichés to giving those wannabe villainesses a master class on how to do it properly! 😱🤯 Isabelle's role of a villainess is what I'm going to be comparing all future anime villainesses to! She raised the bar so damn high! 😭🙌 |

| Isabelle is a badass, at least. This show still feels like a fairly generic "oo I'm the shy, cute, awkward girl, but humans are generally nice people, so I make good friends," which is fine, but nothing special It's basically set dressing that she's a powerful mage and good at math; take it away, the whole show doesn't change at all besides finding a different reason for her to be admitted and gain a seat on the council Edit: Lloyd's maid is awesome, and I still hope Nero is the flashback boy, but my point stands |
