Like this entire universe knows, any female character cutting their hairs short means a, “new start”. So yep, it's a new start for Sullivan… a girl who’s no longer the emerald witch. Prepping for the queen's visit was fun and all with those old characters getting a few minutes of screentime, but yeah, let’s not forget it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows in this series, and no I'm not talking about the misunderstanding that could've, "potentially", changed the symmetry of Ciel's face forever(go easy Elizabeth)..  ..as we know the kind of motives queen has with Sullivan after all. I mean slaving her to create an even more deadly gas is something which goes without saying, but yeah, we know it wouldn't have just ended there. Queen is just like all those german folks who were deceiving Sullivan, just better dressed. Glad though, the meeting just kinda ended there and Ciel managed to keep that one secret from the queen. I still find it hard to see a kid managing so much even after watching this all these years, but okay lol. A better season overall(THOUGH THOSE RECAPS WERE JUST SOMETHING ELSE)... better than the last one, at least. I know they’ll make a sequel too, as yeah, you can't just leave after teasing Undertaker up to something and AGAIN a letter from queen xD |

But taken that those were probably 3 episodes and I had fun, it was pretty nice. Do you think we gonna get next arc animated too? I mean, it would be pitty to leave it now. |
Elizabeth's here! And what immaculate timing. Ciel felt less danger facing the tank than her. Everyone gangsta, untill their wife appears that is. Sebastian putting Sieglinde through hell and treating Wolfran like a dog lol. Elizabeth changed the atmosphere entirely and they had fun. The meeting with queen went well. Hoping the best for Sieglinde. That ending looked troublesome though. What did Undertaker do? And ofc ending the season with another order from the queen. Really good season and adaptation, the visuals and animation were great. My only complaint would be the pacing. Could have easily cut off 2 episodes if they didn't show so much recaps. |

| All fun and well until Undertaker comes on screen and all of a sudden the world goes cold. What a brilliant ending to a brilliant arc and may I take that we'll have a brilliant beginning for the next one? |

| @Chanoyu I agree. I'm worried that would affect their ratings and possibly stop animating the series. Feels like they're buying time or trying to stall so the cuts per episode is good. |

| @SolLamia they've been hinting it for a while now honestly, I love rewatching Circus and seeing all the hints there. This arc had stronger hints, the manga did the same, the anime I feel like did a wonderful job in adapting it, without making it less or more obvious, just about the same |

| Another fun episode overall. The Liz-walking-in moment made me facepalm since it was a little too cliche, down to the dialogue, but otherwise I loved the comedy. Ciel being teased neve fails to amuse me. The Undertaker scene...iykyk. Overall, this was definitely my favorite show of the season, as well as one of my favorite seasons of Black Butler. The only big criticism I have is, of course, the recaps...wish they just did 11-12 episodes instead of having those unnecessarily long recaps. Anyways, really hope the next season will be announced sooner or later. It's gonna be quite an...cringe interesting arc lol. |

| The first part of the arc where Sebastian was training Sieglinde felt very much like the Black Butler version of George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion aka My Fair Lady, where he's literally being a tough instructor trying to get her trained to pass for a lady in time for Tea with the Queen. That whole sequence was hilarious, all the way until his fiancee Liz catches him in flagrante delicto! Thank god Sebastian is one Hell of a Butler, saving his face from an ass kicking! The lessons proceed better with Liz's help, and then it's Tea time. Well, thanks to Ciel's advice she "handled" the Queen. Sorry but I still do NOT trust the Queen, not at all. The after credits scene, as soon as I saw that damn envelope I inadvertently blurted out "What is it THIS time!?" Argh. Is there enough content for another season? Because I need more. |

Currently the manga is at Chapter 216. The Emerald Witch Arc ended with Chapter 108, so yes.

| Lizzie was prepared to end Ciel right there and then lmao. I knew that she was going to enjoy spending with Sullivan! She's already creating a ton of new friends. Undertaker is up to something and I know for sure that it isn't any good. Once again, I can't wait for the next season. |

| @Greek12 Yeah. I feel like it was still subtle. I think I'm being influenced by knowing, but it was still good tho. Like you mentioned, with the Circus... I actually had to replay it twice or thrice to fully realize it was actually "confirmed" there since the first season anime, I assume didn't really included that because obviously I guess it wasn't yet fully confirmed in the manga? Hopefully they keep adapting it. I don't care if they take a few months break as long as they commit to finishing it along with the manga. |

tho ik what you're refering to i dont think it was ever mentioned explicitly and the whole breakdown was passed off as "he is talking about his frail past self". At least based on few cmt sections thats the feeling i got. Now other than that there's also the scene with Diedrich where he says umdertaker is interested in the other earl phwntomhive "but im the only one... right?" type of mood set, but most won't rky give it a 2nd tought until further hints are introduced 😅
| @Alex_the_reaper Yeah. kinda hate that I have ideas despite not reading the manga, in a sense I was indeed spoiled tho I don't feel that it fully ruined it, just excited for the reveal. But still enjoying it. So I guess I'll try to keep the excitement to myself tho... seeing that others who knew is not dropping much as well (looking at the comments) so it won't ruin the experience for the others. |
| If I hadn't seen the spoiler about the sleeping Ciel, I might have been confused but excited for the Undertaker scene... unfortunately, I did, and to be honest, it was enough to make me worry about what I would see in the next seasons. And this season really captured Ciel's worries well, at least that's how I felt. Sebastian is also looking more and more demonic (well he is a demon), all those smiles and smirks are endearing but scares me too lol. I kept replaying the scene where he said that the most fun thing for him was playing the role of a butler for Ciel... with that creepy, cunning smile in the middle of the fire. Well, Ciel is just as sly. Haha. I really, really love him. |

I was really happy when it was real, like I was there for the whole theorizing those many years xd, I think it's a great twist, can't wait to see anime onlys reaction |

| @hanakocheeks For real, I love when Sebastian isn't just a pretty face for fujo but has more demon like content, and not just him doing cool stuff. That's why I love Ciel treating him like shit, cause he knows what he is. And same, Ciel was amazing this ep, I knew I loved him as a main character that isnt't your regular power of friendship selfless character, but for him to actually say it, that his revenge story is for himself and no one else, I really like that. |

| @Greek12 kinda the same for me, I got spoiled from theories and wikia... kinda the same with you, the theories honestly felt delusional and kinda wishing... but here we are. Also, despite me not reading any manga I feel the same with the can't wait to see the anime onlys reaction... Feels like a secret surprise and I can't wait to finally talk about it with everyone xD LOL |
