Nico is surprisingly smarter than people think in this show.

Well, this episode proves that Keigo is someone not to mess with especially when transformed under his Wolf persona. Yikes. It's an unique ability imo compared to some of the other skills this series has shown.

A wolf, witch, ogre and tengu living under one roof now. This’ll be fun lol. That was an awesome end to the cour wow. Very strong finish after I started kinda meh on this series. I really like it a lot now, the cast are loveable and idk there’s just a really strong family vibe in this show that resonates with me. They might fight like cats and dogs, but at the end of the day, they all have each other’s backs.

The enchanter arc actually ended a lot smoother than I anticipated too. They did a great job of hiding how small she was lmao, did not see that coming. Keigo vs Moi was really the only difficult thing and that was just because Moi didn’t want to hurt him too bad. Got the healing potion, beat the enchanter and knocked out wolf peacefully, only thing we didn’t get was the big bad’s name.

I got a little emotional seeing Keigo’s mom get healed. I’m never gonna fault anyone for choosing their mom over some people they just met. He just wanted to heal her and in the end it worked out well, so he’s good in my book. Plus, now he’s gonna be living with the gang and getting even closer. Second cour should be awesome I can’t wait!

Also Nico is such a hero for using her own panacea to help Keigo’s mom. She might act slow, but she’s such a selfless kind person

Keigo is strong and now will be a great ally for Nico. Was a bit disappointed that the battle with the warlock was short I was kinda hoping it would be longer.

Well, I half called it. The enchanter was defeated (unlike my prediction) but there was a bigger bad behind her, Nico used her potion, and Keigo joined the household (as predicted).

Wait, does that old witch die for real? Because that'd be the first on-screen death of this anime, a death toll is something I'm not appreciate.

With that said, what I appreciate is that this anime will have a second cour. I always watch this under the impression that it only has one cour and I've to wait months or years for the sequel.

Keigo joining the team officially now. I always welcome a character that has knot like him.

To think that Keigo Magami is Wolf himself, he may be quite the tool used for the warlocksm but the Ogre himself certainly has power to back up.

With Nico and Kanshi to circumvent the Dogs and the warlock Enchanter on their own, they certainly did it, though not expecting her to be the size of a bagworm since she paid the price for her appearance. It's the same for Wolf being the Enchanter's familiar, and aoart from appearances, he only retains Keigo's memories.

Thanks to Kanshi and the rest convicing Enchanter to bring them to the pocket space and find Moi fighting Wolf, it's the battle of the strong ones, especially Moi using his Ogre Qigong to defeat Wolf, through strategy and wits. But when they try to inqure more information from her, the pact negated by her magic power stolen and Keigo being released from it, still is quite the concern. But for now, all is well with Keigo and his mother, with the umbilical cord mediicine healing his mother's disability, and her son moving over to Moi's place.

This would make for a great season finale, but of course, we have the 2nd Cour left to go!

Can't really blame Keigo at all. Yeah he have betrayed them for sure. But anyone would have done the same in his shoes. Also the alt personality thing made it clear despite using them he did want to become their friend.
Very happy for him and his mother.

Nico is too pure and good for this world didn't even hesitate to share her medicine. Tbf Morihito Kanshi and she herself was very competent in dealing with the situation so confident isn't unwarranted.

"A injured Tengu and klutz witch, they might have weakness but together they are strong" _ some randomass old dude.
Waiting for apology for all Nico doubters. Those "useless" magic were quite handy in pinch. Doubleit isn't just for cutness, although Kanshi looked cute too. Kanshi & Nico won way to easily, big props.

But main course was quite good as expected. The Wolf v Oni fight was amazing. Good anti trope usage by being cool and calm rather than shouting like brainded protagonist to win the battle.
Morihito>>
Using that Kanshi injury, Nico's slime to corner him and finish. Perfect...
But damn Keigo is strong, very helpful ally to have now there is still danger.

Nico was getting flustered as she was about to hug him but Morihito did it first anyway๐Ÿ˜ญ

As a wise man said "Get married already"

Great end to the cour, alredy a great anime but thankfully more to come. 3 more months of peak..

The battle between ogre and werewolf to end the first cour! We get some crazy wicked action shots during their fight which looked really good. Not the sharpest but very frenetic and vibrant. Which fits perfectly with how Keigo fights in his wolf form. Morihito even said it himself that his style is no style at all, A frenzy of attacks that have no prediction to them. Morihito only beating Wolf when he calmed his spirit and didnt let hot tempers take him over. Nico and Kanshi did well taking on all those dogs and the warlock. Her being so small made things easier. But they were a solid team together, later coming to support Morihito in his fight. His diving punch attack from the air on Wolf was awesome! So many different ogre fighting styles I like seeing each of them. Once the conflict was resolved everything got a bit emotional. The bathhouse moment was funny with each gender reminiscing and speculating about the future. But after that going to Keigo home and seeing his mom was very sweet. I'm glad that Nico could use her special witch medicine to heal her legs. Keigo breaking down was hugging his mom once she stood up got me teary eyed. Him moving in now that his mom can travel for work again sounds great! Morihito is becoming like a den mother to these misfit magical beings. I'm excited to see what gets adapted the rest of the season now!

Well the Enchanter was a bit of a let down of a fight...thought her and Nico would have a magic battle off. However, how this episode played out made more logical sense within this world of Witches and Warlocks and a huge magic battle wouldn't feel right.

Yet, we still got treated to a great battle between Morihito and Kegio. Then in the end Kegio was able to accomplish his goal with the help of Nico and his friends allowing his mom to walk again which was lovely.

Now that Kegio has moved in it seems like we will return to the more slapstick comedy of this show for a while, before the next big bad appears for Nico!

Really REALLY good episode.

I was really surprised that Nico made some really good decisions. Using that spell to sneak around to find the witch was really smart of her and using that division magic was a really good play. The fight was really awesome to watch but the best part was definitely when Nico gave Keigo that potion and that healed Keigo's moms legs. That part was so bittersweet and I love seeing moments like those in anime. Hopefully more moments like that appear.

Nico saved the day again. She helped Keigo’s mom to heal her leg and now she’s healthy.

Keigo might be a bit noisy now that he joined Otogi household, but I am sure everyone will get along well, since they are a strong team.

The battle against the Enchanter went quicker than I expected it to be, which I do applaud Nico and Kanshi's teamwork for being very effective. I also didn't expect the Enchanter herself to be really small, but that was the price she paid for the powers that she has be given.

Morihito and Keigo's battle was a pretty tense one at that. Both were pretty even, but Morihitio's cool-headed plan to lure and bait Keigo with his attacks won him the match. Later on, we get to see Keigo's mother and learnt that she was the one who was seriously injured in that car crash, leaving her wheelchair bound, which was one of a few reasons as to why Keigo paused his figure skating career. Thanks to Nico's powers, Keigo's mother was given a new lease of life for her legs, helping her to walk again, which made for a pretty emotional scene.

I do prefer the slapstick side of this series more, but these last few episodes did a solid job in terms of taking the story in a more serious direction. Who knows when the story will get more serious again and I do look forward to watching that when it happens, but I'm happy that the preview of the next episode looks to be fully focused on the comedy side. =)

Nico was amazing in this chapter, she showed why she is called the best witch. This chapter was really amazing, the fight between Keigo and Moi gets closer to who is behind it all. The relationship between everyone is very nice. I love that group of friends. Everyone really understands each other. Nico helped more and more people with Keigo's mother. I really couldn't help but cry like Kan di very good closing of the first part

Things that are rushed usually, if ever, turn out well.

So while the 2 leads clearly do have feelings for one another, theres things they need to take care of first.

Ill never understand why ppl keep saying this so early on in series.

Id understand if they were still like this say in a S2 and even more so a S3, yet this is just the end of pt1 S1.

This show continues to be full of surprises, with one of them being that Keigo was doing this not for himself but for his mother, wow. Another surprise was the fact that he's now moving in with Morihito and the rest of the gang! At this point it feels that Nico will have 24/7 protection with 3 guys around. On that note it's too bad that Nemu won't join Nico (at least at this point there's no indication she will move in) as I really like her and this scene she was in made me laugh out loud (this was her reaction to seeing Nico and Morihito hug):

And that's a wrap on this arc. The fight between Moi and Keigo felt a lot longer in the manga. Gotta hand it to Nico though, her giving up that cure all potion for Keigo's mom's paralysis was truly selfless.

The episode with the most magic so far! And many of the spells were repeated from previous episodes!

Helping others is a wonderful thing—just like how Niko helped Keigo’s mom, and now Keigo has become Niko’s guardian.

Honestly, I don’t have much to comment on other than that I’m happy Nemo got her back scrubbed in the bath, just like I hoped last episode.

We’re halfway through the anime now, right? Let’s see if the second half will be impressive or not!

An insane 1v1(Moi vs Wolf/Keigo) for an anime of this scale! The mastermind witch’s motives were pretty generic, but it did hint that someone else is pulling the strings. Keigo’s wish to heal his mother was genuinely emotional, such a sad scene… but in the end, everything turned out fine. And now we’ve got another official member in the group!
