| Lilisa is a good friend to have. She believes in Tina even she was critized first for her lack of skills. Tbh, I think Lilisa serves as a good mentor for her and has more chances to improve herself. Tamaki feels kind like the opposite of Tina with her aggressive personality in this show though. |

| Weekly dose of my rock lesbians! Our last set up episode before the battle of the bands. Can’t wait for next week, but I really enjoyed all the Tina focus today. I’m rooting so hard for her to have an amazing performance next week! This is going to be her coming out party I know it. Speaking of coming out.. “hey can I touch them please”, swear there’s not a single straight in this series 😭Bitter Ganache being distracted by Tina’s boobs and wanting to touch em was hilarious. Lilisa’s main goal was giving Tina a cover while playing in the event, but it also acts as a distraction for the opponent so nice 4D chess lmao. Said it when we first met her, but it’s so awful she wears that girdle all the time to make her look flatter, with how big she is, that has to be so painful and it’s analogous for the pain she feels on the inside too for not being able to be herself. I know Tamaki comes off like an asshole to Tina and she definitely could stand to be nicer, but it’s so obviously the classic concerned tsundere trope where she just doesn’t want Tina to get embarrassed up on stage. This is probably projection because of her own past given what we know about how hard she’s worked to stand next to Oto on stage. She’s got a really big heart, I know it! She can do no wrong in my eyes I’m such a stan lol 🥰 I think Oto’s plan to make the song simpler for Tina makes a ton of sense and honestly surprised no one thought of that from the beginning. Why give such a complex sheet to a total beginner to play? Focus on the basics and the speed and cute stuff will come later. Plus, building confidence matters so if Tina sees herself doing well with the easier performance, that’ll help her move on to more complex stuff. Can’t wait to see what the girls cook up next week. |

| Those T-shirts where clearly inspired by the logo of the Rolling Stones, they keep throwing around big name bands. Looks like next week should be very interesting with the rock battle between the two bands. Still it seems Tina isn't up there yet and has a lot of practice to do, hopefully she will meet Tama's expectations at some point. |
| Poor Tina, with how Tamaki was being harsh to her and wanted her to just quit. Tamaki knows what's best for Otoha's band, but she's ruthless with her words. Tamaki did agree to let Tina stay in the band after Otoha expressed her wish to keep her, but poor Usami ended up getting crushed twice by Tamaki. Aki wanting to squeeze Tina's assets... wish I could join the line too, and that print on the T-shirt is exactly how I want my mouth to be—close to Tina's breasts. The way Otoha is covered feels like she's an exhibitionist. I'm really curious to see what kind of clothes she wore for this. |

| One step forward for their band's progress, now they will try to perform with full members. After experiencing doubts and rejections from Tamaki, Tina has finally shown that she is very passionate and has a strong desire to play rock with them. Lilisa made an important decision here in order to keep Tina in the band. Slowly but surely all members will start to open up to each other, and I'm sure after tomorrow's performance there will be significant changes in the band for the better. Now all eyes are on their next performance.  |
| Loved the episode! So glad Lilisa finally stood up to that cocky, arrogant, white-haired tart. And I'm also really happy that Tina stuck with the band, truly glad for her. Speaking of Lilisa, I can’t wait for her to make that cocky, arrogant, white-haired tart eat her damn words after the performance. Although, I do wonder how she’s going to pull it off. As she mentioned, she didn’t have much time to practice, most of it was spent helping Tina improve, with the exception of the last two days, when she practiced overtime with Tina. Did she come up with some kind of secret move? A finishing technique? An ultimate jutsu kind of thing? I don’t know, I can only imagine, but I can’t wait to find out. Super excited to see how their performance is going to turn out! |

Atleast Tina Somewhat proved herself. The way Lilisa fully backed and trusted her friend was really nice. And Otoha was great help too and atleast calmed Tamaki. I get tsundere blah blah but that's crossing the line not to mention underestimating Lilisa. Can't wait when she made her eat those words. Rock is a Lady's Hobby anime dropped the ball hard this episode, the same way Jellyfish managed to mock itself: when running out of plot, a pair of boobs come handy... Even the main characters lost what little charm they had thus far. A full year after Girls Band Cry this "quality" can't be called anything but a farce. By the way, this ep had 100% rock classical music background track as far as I could hear...

| Tamaki was definitely a jerk to Tina, but luckily, Otoha seems to have her well in hand. In the end, Tina made solid progress with the piano, and her costume for the battle of the bands is surprisingly effective. No one would suspect she's a famous model, if only her boobs turned out. Two flashbacks caught my attention. The first, featuring Lilisa's mother, is further confirmation that she is completely unhinged. The second, showing Otoha and Tamaki as children, I think the rocker they saw on TV who inspired them to form their band might have been Lilisa's father, or so it seems. |

| I love this show so far! It really feels like Tina is supposed to be transmasculine but I doubt this is the kind of work to really go into that, which disappoints me because I think there would be a really good opportunity for storytelling there. But like a lot of things in Yurislop show, the implication is there to pander to all the people who want it while nothing is ever actualized to avoid alienating any viewers. Disappointing but not unexpected and it's still a fun show besides that fact |

| Ooooh so Tamaki got inspired by Metallica, I had a feeling that had to be a direct reference to a real band when we saw that flashback lol, I honestly can’t hate her now after learning that. And yeah those are definitely Rolling Stones inspired shirts, they didn’t invent the lips and tongue but it is among their signature iconography lol, very nice reference tho, makes me want to hear a Jumpin’ Jack Flash cover by these girls. And the episode itself was a good one, but I’m ngl the opening scene of the episode was kinda disappointing, Tina is supposed to be getting blown away by rock music and we aren’t hearing any of it lol, a shame. I’m glad Lilisa fought for Tina there tho, Tamaki is technically in the right but incredibly harsh at the same time so I liked seeing her get opposed here. And thankfully Otoha assisted in Tina improving quick enough for the battle of the bands, so now she’s ready to rock on the big stage, I’m excited to see and hear it! And to end the episode off we got a bit of trash talk which is always fun, including peeks at what the girls will be wearing onstage, I like Lilisa’s choices but imo nothing says a band means business more than just wearing normal ass clothes, like that meme “if the hardcore bassist looks like this, you’re about to die in that pit” lol, but something like what Tamaki is going for is cool too. And hey they finally let Tina’s chest fly! I thought that would be saved for more of a breakthrough moment but I guess we already got it as part of her “disguise”, yeah I guess boobs are pretty distracting huh, even if it’s not super believable lol. |

| Shiraya really only listens to Otoha, doesn't she. Can't say I understand anything from the musical aspect of things, but this show is surprisingly a lot of fun! The casts and dialogues are cringey sometimes, but they don't affect my enjoyment at all. Although bitchy, Shiraya makes a great point of kicking Tina out if winning is their top priority. Lilisa says fuck you that's your problem and Shiraya can't refute that lmao. I said in another thread that this might be the first anime of the season I would drop, but turns out I was completely wrong. The show's been a blast! Next week is the duel. Looking forward to it! |

| I decided to check this show out on a whim and I'm so glad I did. It hooked me pretty much immediately and I binged all 8 episodes, just in time to be left with this anticipation! I can't wait to see the battle of the bands. I hope they include plenty of the actual music, cause it definitely seemed like they were preserving some budget this episode. That said I really love Lilisa as an MC. Her and Otoha's dynamic is great. Tina has really grown on me quickly as well, and I really like how Lilisa and Otoha stood up for her and have her back. Hopefully once they take the stage she can pull it off, and Lilisa can show Shiro why Otoha (and Tina and her step-sister) is so enamored with her. |
