Depends, if the money is on a bank or somewhere else and it's given to other people on credit, then it would disrupt the market. But if it stays inaccessible to others, then I think it wouldn't, unless I misunderstand money economy, which is possible. |

| Some portion goes to things like the Against Malaria Foundation or providing vaccinations to children in poor countries. I kind of like the research angle. I'd want it put towards things that wouldn't get funding anyway. One thing to try would be to do advanced market commitments. That is, make an agreement to purchase medical innovations ahead of time upon completion successful rigorous trial testing, then give out the purchases for free. This what the US did with Covid vaccinations. Since the rich world already gets plenty of research devoted to its illnesses, I'd put my money towards the poor world once again. Another research angle would be to fund research on controversial topics or to fund research that just doesn't neatly fall along common ideological lines such that they get passed over. | Create a small bank in the Caymans and hide the money there. Buy Powerball tickets with cash until I win the Powerball. Give big sums of money to those researching and providing solutions to climate change, providing educational services, and politicians/political groups trying to make the world better (all under the table). The "hire assassin's to off bad guys" idea could be worth considering as well, but hopefully wouldn't be a requirement when you put large chunks of cash into the hands of good guys. |

| I would never spend more than a couple thousand at once, for safety reasons. If you fail to conceal the fact you're rich, you will get noticed and ruin your life. Even if the shady people don't notice you, the government will. The governments monitor bank accounts, and any big money movements that don't match up with your typical income are detected by the system and you will be notified to testify about how you got the money. If you can't explain it, you can get fined with 50% of the money you spent (value depends on local laws). And as a bonus, now the gov people can spread the news of you being filthy rich to others, who might make your life a living hell. Even if you owned all of your money physically, you still wouldn't be able to purchase anything valuable without risking it. Want to buy a house? The gov will know. Want to buy a car? The seller has to report it to IRS. You'd need to take risks, such as buying stuff in the name of someone else. But that requires you to expose the fact you're wealthy to other people. How much can you trust them though? Will they ever backstab you? |

I'll buy only in cash.... some countries tax you an extra wopping 90% when you make huge cash expenses, if you don't declare where your money comes from and if you say it's a cash donation from anonymous friends and stuff like that.... but 90% of taxes don't matter with that ammount of money. So I'd buy every hospital, house, country I could afford and I'd govern it. I'd also use my army to kill roughly 50-60% of the male populus. Or maybe I'd fund religous leaders to create suicide cults for males... and cause mass havoc... reduce the world population, eliminate all the useless men. Afterwards I'd find a way to kill my army or my religious leaders. I'd go full Jeager mode. I still couldn't afford to buy her love.... but maybe I could buy her some nice experiences and peace of mind |
