| Poor Cid. Even his school life can't be normal because Alexia just happens to interfere with it. Like seriously though, Cid just manages to strike a strange relationship with her just like that. Gotta say though, Alexia really made an impression for herself to stand out among the crowd. Everyone's eyes were on her. I think out of any character introduced, she stood out the most. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Cid's journey into the new fantasy world, literally starting off with the Truck-kun trope, he's literate on wanting to become the Eminence of Shadow. Being new into the Midgar Kingdom being the background character he is, with his friends of Skel and Po, Cid has always wanted to experience what it means to get the most sufferable love confession from the most popular girl in school: the Princess Alexia Midgar. But instead of getting a rejection, the very last expectation of Cid getting the rom-com Protag-kun route is weird, yet unbelievable at best. From then on, Cid only ascends higher thanks to Alexia, and the latter's excuse of being his girlfriend is to avoid Instructor Zenon, her betrothed. The coin scene is done so well, Cid starts acting like a low-brow cheap shot Lelouch, is this a back-to-back reference to Chainsaw Man with Denji and Makima with the "woof, woof" lols? I'll admit that Cid and Alexia's date does look sweet, though it's nothing more than a façade against the 2 closest people in her life: Zenon and the Dark Knight of her sister Iris, being known as the Fencer Ordinairé. I think that Cid's reference to the "Standing on 1,000,000 lives" is a good one, though it's all from his introspective. Cid getting interrogated by Zenon with a false accusation that he kidnapped Alexia, it's BIG trouble. How would he come out of this situation alive? |

| I like Alexia, she's amusing and voiced by HanaKana no less. Cid became her dog, he has good taste. Also so that's how he died, that was dumb. |

| I’ll be honest, now with all this comedy the show is actually fine. Coin moment was golden. Big improvement after the second ep edgy shit. Pacing and directing is still strange but may be ln is the same, dunno. |
| The start of the novel was pretty well adapted but with a few changes, that should not affect the plot. |

| Man, I just love this episode. It moves. I was a bit lost lost (need to go back and rewatch previous episodes, now) but utterly entertained and engaged. I was also pleasantly surprised Hidive didn't lock-up but won't grow too optimistic over it. Animation is clean, it was a nice break from any crazy OP. I'll enjoy rewatching. |
| Another good episode! We get to see Cid get in a relationship with Alexia, which throws his normal, background character life for a loop. But it leads to a few cute and humorous moments. Cid is indeed a man that can be won over with money! And the end of the episode is cool. Total cliffhanger. As someone who hasn't read the source material, I wonder what happened to Alexia! And I wonder what'll happen to Cid. All things that make me excited for the next episode! |

| Yeah i can definitely say that this episode i got what i wanted. They even finally showed his death scene. The curious thing with Alexia is that while in the anime she looks ready to cut anyone's balls from the start, she actually acts all cutesy to fool Cid at first in the manga I guess the studio/director or whatever of the anime just really likes to make everything more sinister and everyone's expression more composed without much kirakira or moe stuff. Depending on the scene, that can be a downgrade, a improvement, or just a mere change. In this episode things still work nicely even with the changes. |

| Interesting progression since he's at the academy already with some new (silly) friends and especially the princess choosing him as her fake lover to escape from her fiancé... and I'm not surprised it didn't end good especially the very end since she somewhat disappeared and they're blaming the MC for that, things are getting tenser already, nice xD |

| The way Cid was isekai'd was messed up lol. And he seemed proud about it. Cid's plan as a background character failed in a spectacular. Him being Alexia's dog was amusing. High chance Zenon has something to do with Alexia's disappearance. It's always those types of characters. |

| What an absolutely amazing episode. Seeing cid and alexia’s relationship animated was great. I love their banter and chemistry. Alexia’s seiyuu is also perfect for her role. The whole fake relationship had me dying the whole ep. Episode was a near perfect adaptation of the LN, can’t wait for next week. This must be national anime dog week tho lol |
