| First things first. Iori' reaction to Seeing them come of he hotel was weird. Like he would be that bothered about them doing it before him. Then we transitioned to a nice diving scene and then the 4 of them being back to normal. Just for all of it to explode in a supernova of WTF with Busujima coming in to stir shit up. What a cliffhanger. I bet she's doing this to get back at Iori for blocking her ship |

| I definitely don't think this was out of the blue by any means. Chapter 37 was one of the best chapters in the entire series and added major contributions to both Iori and Sakurako's relationship development. Not only does it turn him from a wackjob into maybe a person that could possibly be relied on, but also I think just simply being honest to herself might have changed her thinking process. He told her to go for the direct approach when she was interested in Otoya, she did that here as well. I think Sakurako was concerned that he was going on a trip alone with Chisa because she wasn't sure about how real the "Iori and Chisa are dating" rumors were, and wanted to stake her claim before anything could happen with Chisa. She was definitely the one texting Iori all this time, he was the only one not super surprised to see her when she showed up. 10/10 |
| The first time I saw Sakurako, I thought she was just a background character who would never appear again in later chapters after becoming stepping-stone for Iori's action (Chap 25). And then Inoue made her Iori's coworker and gave her some interesting chemistry with him. Were those truly for this very moment? Honestly, the author might be good at creating jokes, but he didn't impress me much with romance-drama writing in his previous work (BakaTest). Let's see whether he can find a convincing resolution for this. |
