DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah good they got right into the second season without long boring recaps. I'm glad to see Souma, Alice, Erina, etc return. Also actually quite hyped that Alice returned and she already made an impression.  Delicious episode :3 Still interesting to see Souma pour his creativity into his works. Dat foodgasm! Also interesting to see more glimpses of Alice's past again. New theme song is alright, I kinda like it. |

| So they skipped the part when Souma and Megumi go to that children's cooking school. At least they referred to it. Overall fast paced episode that gets right to the action. Great way to the the season imo. Can't wait to see Alice's reaction animated next week Also OP is great :D 5/5 |

| it does seem a bit rush however most of the chapters in this arc was made up of explaining and preparing the dishes, so it not really that rush just going through the text. |

| I missed this series so fucking much The detail for the preparation of the food, the look of the food, the foodgasms and the message behind the challenges I got so much fucking feels when Souma had that flashback with the old lady and just seeing Souma be all badass again really made me so happy Alice had a great dish too but man Souma just went and did it again....Also get grandfather is literally #old man goals lol Great start to the second season and I can't wait to see the other matches....And that OP was too awesome btw, I fucking LOVED it |
| What a great way to start the new season, dive into the action. Both dishes were fantastic in their own way but I felt like Yukihira's fit more for a bento. Alice's imo had a bit too much going and was more fit for those occasions where there's finger food. I did like the analogy showed, Alice's dish sure resembled a case full of jewels while Yukihira's resembled a treasure chest. Ryoko's expression when she tasted Yukihira's dish lol. I'm surprised beer was used. |

| This felt rushed imo, still a good episode but they skipped some content even in the oba-san flashback. There is no reason for this series to be 13 episodes. They have enough content in the manga for over 30 episodes. |

| That was an intense and exciting start, I've missed this show XD Souma going strong, I so wanna eat the dishes him and Alice prepared. The only downside to this show is the food envy ;.; That scene with Souma giving the young Alice the Bento was really sweet. Though it felt really fast paced (Not a manga reader) but it was still fine to me :D The OP is fantastic. |

| Fast paced, but i didn't mind it. I'm right back into the Souma greatness with this first episode. The Alice flashbacks were the best part. Megumi vs. Ryo, what a match up :O |
| A gastronomy prodigy versus diner "expert", maybe? I wonder what will happen with all the expression of the judges. I hope for a new kind of "expression" unlike the first season. LOL |

| Although the pace it looks to be going so far is worrying (given that it'll only be 13 episodes), this was a decent enough start. Soma and Alice show off their skillful yet individual cooking, and their interactions seem to have a bit of spite to them. OP and ED are alright. |

| Even as a non-manga reader, this certainly felt rushed, which is a shame. Oh well, it's nice to be able to see some delicious food and hilarious foodgasms again, so I'm still looking forward to the remainder of the season. Alice and Soma put on quite a show, and both of their dishes looked great. |

| Within the 1st episode, Alice got eliminated. That was fast. And it feels so rushed... It can't be helped I guess... I hope it gets better. Looking forward to see Megumi's turn :) |

| It was a bad decision to make this only 13 episodes, if all the episodes are gonna be like this. It was good, but way too rushed, stuff like Soma and Megumi working with the kids happened in a flash with a short flashback explanation, super lame. I really hope things slow down when we get to the final match, at least. 7/10 episode. |

| It was rushed, JC Staff skipped some chapters and flashbacks. But for the most, it was a great adaptation. Next week: Battle of the seafood! One of my favorite quaterfinals. |
| Episode was decent. Pretty normal Souma episode. I'm kind of sad that they skipped over a couple chapters, oh well. Whether she won or lost, best girl will always be Alice. |
