| It's odd to see you to start a thread with anything but your opinion, as you're usually slapping everybody in the face with it. As for the question, I feel like it's women that tend to be nicer on average. It probably relates to a maternal instinct within women. I think females (at least human females) evolved to be nicer and caring in general because they were usually the ones to care for their offspring while the male would usually be the one out hunting. |

| It varies. I've met far more nasty girls than guys though, but I did spend seven years in a girls-only prison school. Don't underestimate how cruel girls can be. Most guys I've met are quite open-minded and willing to talk to anyone, whereas most girls I've come across are extraordinarily fickle and quick to judge. |

| Nah, it's just that in the greater social context girls and women are expected to 'behave' more, whereas guys/men have the "Boys will be boys" saying. But I'll take it from my own experience of growing up, where my mother's always been the aggressive and reckless one getting into fights, while my father's been the collected and well-behaved one who doted on the kids. Any behavioural differences are purely cultural, it has nothing to do with a persons biology. Of course, there are some physical differences (women have better memory, men have better spatial skills for example), but I don't think any of these influence behaviour as much as people seem to claim they do. Neither sex is nicer than the other, it's all to do with the individual. |
