I guess I don't mind Eiji so much after this episode. He's so weird it's kind of funny. I take back what I said before about Miyoshi possibly being irritating hanging around those two - I take it back completely. She's complete win with Takagi. Their date was so adorable. I can't believe she wore shorts in winter! Takagi blushing looking at the other couple and trying to act like them by offering Miyoshi his arm.. that was so cute. "This is the happiest moment of my life!" "Mine too! This is so much better than getting into high school!" "Yatta! Yatta! Yatta~!" Oh my God, I loved that. XD This is probably my favorite episode so far. |

Go groundlessly bash some other anime you've probably never watch just to get a rise out of ppl. Fantastic episode! When Miyoshi went all moe and pulled Saiko's tie... "EEEH! He's so hot when he's like that!".....WIN!!!! The scene where Miyoshi gave Saiko Miho's chocolates was way better in the manga! Hattori is awesome!!! GARRRR!!! Urahara Out!! |

| There is just something about Bakuman that just makes it such an entertaining series to watch. Maybe it's because the story is something completely refreshing compared to the typical harem ecchi comedy moe shit that comes out in droves every season. I still can't believe they're only in middle school though. The character designs definitely does not reflect that. Hell, even Kaya has an abnormally large chest for a middle school girl. Eiji is still all kinds of wtf. |

| Amazing episode! I really hope that they didn't get into NEXT only for comparison to Eiji.. but then again, I think Hatori only said that to motivate them.. hopefully :( But Miyoshi is a very fun character, I re-watched the part where she pulled mashiro's tie about 10 times xD But yeah, seems like we're going to get some needed drama next episode with the dilemma between Azuki and Mashiro. I don't think I could go on without seeing a girl I truly love for 3 whole years. that would be just ridiculous and even though they have their reasons, i think they're making the wrong decision.. but oh well what do i know lol Anyways can't wait til next episode :D |

| I just don't like unrealistic romance animes. =[ I thought this was more focused on becomign a mangaka. Anyways I hate the fun part of anime is all about lolicon. ALl the new released animes are harem ecchi lolita. And Mashiro acting a like sissy little girl over a girl is seriously annoying. Sorry if this offends any of you. Just my opinion. |

Opinion or not, do you even know what lolicon is? Mashiro is not in love with any underage girl... Besides Mashiro is in love, he's being completely realistic, and considering her feelings when he decides not to push himself onto Miho. They both have dreams, and all they are trying to do is make them happen without distractions, and the same time with motivation. To me thats more realistic than any cliche trip-and-get-caught-by-cutest-guy-in-school-and-fall-in-love move Anyways, you have the right to your opinions, but labeling it as lolicon, harem ecchi and all is just not right, regardless what the mainstream anime focuses on.. |

I kinda understand why people would think this is a troll or even a supremely idiotic comment, BUT: I do agree that the romance part of the anime is either not coming out right, or it's not as good as the manga... I'm disappointed that it just seems so immature and badly written... I mean these are the guys that created DEATH NOTE, I expect a really GREAT story, so far it hasn't been all that impressive. I just hope it gets better, I don't think this is an idiotic harem or loli show or anything stupid like that, but I will agree that parts of the romance is VERY ANNOYING and unnecessary. |

| ^^ The romance involves middle school kids, you can't expect a "mature" romance. The anime definitely elaborates the romance bits, but it's not overdone - and I find the Takagi-Miyoshi dynamic really adorable. Plus, there's nothing ecchi, harem or lolita in this show, wtf, how did anyone get that?! I thought the Money and Intelligence sci-fi world looked really cool - it makes me want to go watch a sci-fi anime now. |
| I feel a slight pain when I saw Psyren in that questionnaire. Damn you WSJ :< As for the episode, there wasn't much focus on the process of creating the manga but it was fun and refreshing overall .The timeskips here aren't done well that you get surprised that from Christmas it jumped to Valentines. The manga shows date to help you keep up. Kaya is fitting in perfectly with the duo. The date was fun. Though doesn't she feel cold wearing that? Oh well, nice figure. Why did I miss that in the manga? Eiji is lolz as usual. Weird seeing him in a uniform. And Crow sighted!! Time to judge the mangas now. And graduation time is coming. |

| LOL Every romance seems lolicon to me. It's like the stereotype gay thing. What I hated was Mashiro going "WOW ! Azuki is smiling at me. WOW! She is so Cute !!!" |

God Bless You! I am having almost the exact same complaints about this anime. The focus on growing up and becoming an adult, facing disappointment and having to work for your dreams, is all told pretty well. The scenes dealing with this very immature and unrealistic romance just come off as saddening. Not only is it unbelievable, but Azuki has no character other than being a moe blob. You could fill her in with a stuffed animal and you would hardly notice anything different. Especially since it is a romance anime that can't go anywhere. By their agreement they cannot develop their relationship until they reach their dream. Until then all of this is just one giant tease. Pretending stuff is going to happen when we know nothing will happen. I'll be blunt, anime is anime and reality is reality, anyone who is trying to mix them together shouldn't. Don't compare anime to that lowly thing called reality. I wonder if I sound like Keima... :3 |

| Good episode... Tho I barely all this happening in the manga ahahaha... Indeed it was a surprise to see Eiji in a school outfit... didn't fit him... That scene about Eiji just at the beginning really made a good impression on me... I think everyone should have gotten the same... Knowing him little by little is the best... And don't worrry if you hate him or consider him way too crazy, even people around him IN the anime consider him that... Look at when he screamed out of the blue in the middle of the crow for the crow feather, or when the old lady passed a step besides Yujiro and gave him a stern look haha Eiji should seriously consider turning down the volume of his stereo >> I'm not going to defend the romance side of the series, but hey their confession, their love is what keeps this going on right? But why you people keep on comparing this to DN? Seriously Bakuman and Death Note are in entirely different leagues! My goshness DN was about suspense and supernatural, Bakuman is about romance and slice of life, aka normal life! Please don't compare them. Still the story so far is thrilling 'cause we want to see them beat all of them and get to their goal of making an anime out of a series they created right? Seriously never thought this before watching the Anime, but now this little scenes of them alone having a nice time chatting and hanging around, basically having a date made me realise that they're made for each other and actually like each other alot... Kaya using such outrageous outfit fits her too much... Seriously all her outfits are like that, plus they fit her personality so there's no problem about them xD Nice shirt and cute stylish vest with shorts are hawt... and then stripped swater over some random shirt with white mini is hawt too! Kaya's lovely indeed... Damn that Takagi really got a good catch... Kaya making some homemade chocos for Takagi was kewl but Miho getting Choco Pencils for Mashiro ws so kewl! Seriously I'd kill for such... meaningful gift... It was amazing... Will they return back the favor in White Day? I dun remember that part.... Anyway it was cute It was to fun see them do the oneshot for NEXT (Akamaru) and then fooling around to pass the HS exams which they actually passed (Miyoshi too! woot!) and then actually having a match up with Niizuma in NEXT's next issue... | So the conflict is on. They are now going against Eiji. For a moment there i thought they wouldn't make it to Next. But if their goal is to approach a smaller target audience that appreciates their style instead of the bigger audience that the more shounen like manga get, isn't it difficult for them to beat him? Btw i also agree that the romance part seem slightly stupid but considering they are middle-schoolers and that they now gave a very good excuse i can live with it. Saying that if they started seeing each other they wouldn't have the ability to concentrate on anything else because they love each other so much it's not a bad excuse. |
| So far, the best ep. At 1st I was kinda annoyed at Nizuma's gibberish but now I find it funny. lol. Miho and Takagi sure is a good couple.. :) And lastly this part. | Eiji looked weird in a costume. Now that's how a first date should be. They are a lovely couple. Shujin cares for Mashiro making the exams notes for him. I just love that Hottori is giving suggestions and supporting them. The Valentine Day event was great seeing Kaya giving handmade chocolates to Shujin and Miho giving choco pencils. I was so happy when they got published in NEXT. This is how a anime should be, to make you share their feelings. |
