| The episode seems to be pretty faithful to the original manga.The animation could definitely use more work though; it's pretty obvious JC Staff isn't trying to hard in terms of animation quality. I Loled at the marriage part, which was pretty funny. Definitely over the top, but true to the manga. This episode was pretty darn funny, though Saikou at the beginning seriously sounded like some sort of depressed dude. Can't wait for the next episode. | I came into the anime with extremely high expectations, but this episode even surpassed them. With only 25 episodes, I thought the pace may be a little fast, but the pace was done perfectly - felt really nice and slow, while covering 57 pages. As a manga reader, I found that the voices fit quite well, which is quite rare for a first impression. Not only that, it would be extremely hard to find a better OP for the series, and the ED is well above average as well. The insert OP (not really sure what to call it) was also great, as was the BGM. The story itself is only just getting started, but the manga is really well done, and if the anime sticks to the manga there's no doubt the story will be very interesting. My only complaint so far would be the animation, which felt a little low budget. By no means was it terrible, but could have been better... Oh well, I don't really care too much about animation anyway. Basically, IMO everything was perfect except for the animation. I should never have expected any less from Kenichi Kasai, who really brings out the best in any adaption he does, and is definitely my all time favourite director. I'm starting this off at 10/10, which is obviously a first for me... |

| It's as I expected it to be. First episode was ok. Bakuman manga is excelent, but I think it's really hard to put it into anime and not to get people bored after like 2nd ep. Animation is ok, but I would like to see different angles of view or be it a bit more like Bakemonogatari style. Marrying to doorbell, haha, go for it Saiko! People who don't read manga might be a bit scared in the first minute with Hero opening :D |

| yay ! I haven't read teh manga and it was good as i expected. I also dreamed of becoming a mangaka and thought it would be exciting to have a friend to work together. Because manga or someenttertainment is something I can have a passion to work for.=] Also many people who read the manga said it was fun so I thought it will be fun. I said I havent read the manga but I did read a very little bit of chapter 1. In the manga, when Mashiro said I have to study , the other guy said 'probably I should too ' but in the anime it skipped this part. =] I liked how Morita was such a shota boy in the beginning as it was the past of himself. XD While Morita was falling in love with the girl, I was in love with the cute shota ass Morita. btw I'm a boy. <3 First I thought I downloaded a fake or something because the opening was totally nothing to do with Bakuman since Morita was not there. Then I skipped to check. lol I was like, uh..it is bakuman. WTH lol |

| I read a few chapters of Bakuman and I think this anime adaptation wouldn't be too bad, since it really follows the manga. And the episode wasn't bad, it was good. They wrapped everything in chapter one into an episode. Also I love the Opening theme <3 |

| Great episode. I read the first 3 chapters of the manga like, 2 years ago, but didn't remember it was so awesome. I think this will be me no. 1 favorite this season, I want to give it a 10 already. |

| That was great, followed the first chapter perfectly. The music was great as well but that OP is just awful. I was expecting something a little more fast paced. 5/5 |
| Wow, I'm really impressed and quite ecstatic! Yay! They really managed to capture that same feeling I get when I read the manga. And I love the character designs, and the ED as well. I really hope that it'll turn out to be longer than 25 episodes though, because I don't think that so few episodes will do the manga justice. And wow, Takagi and his headphones - so cool :P |

Something about it seems off to me. Can't quite put my finger on it yet. But as you, I couldn't care less about the animation. My only complaint however is the opening. I was expecting something that would get you hyped up for the episode. but instead, we have some lovie dovie genetic love song. Overall. Fairly well done. Was a little skeptical at first but now, i'm pleased with the outcome. |

| I think it's not too hasty to say this show's gonna be good :) I was waiting for this anime, and i'm glad it met my expectations ^^ I'm looking forward to the rest! (I already wanna watch the next ep so bad!) I like the references to Dragon Ball and One Piece :D I'm glad i didn't read the manga, so that i could enjoy the anime more~ It's gonna be fun =) |
