| Well it seems like Bell and Hestia aren't the only ones who remember but it's clear it's going to be hard to convince those to move. For now tho there are a bunch of characters making moves they don't understand clearly not realising they forgot something. Tho it seems if Freya doesn't keep an eye om them they will remember and they might make a move. |
| This was Freya's plan and Bell doesn't believe the memories he made with Hestia were fake. It's a very twisted plan that Freya executed in order to psychologically weaken Bell. And damn, Freya really wasn't kidding that she was welling to do anything to get him. From Bell's point of view, this was tough to watch as he never felt so alone and also questioning who he really is. |

| Under all that craziness and every other trait that makes Freya... well, Freya, is just a normal girl in love that kicks her feet in the air after her crush tells her she looks good in a dress... crazy to think about lmao. But yeah, she's crazy FOR SURE. I mean, she took Belle's records or whatever and is slowly making HIM THINK SHE WAS HESTIA ALL ALONG... wow. |

| I guess Bell will get significantly stronger throughout this time with endless fighting all day, because it doesn't seem like anybody's anywhere near ready to recall their memories of Bell. Freya is some scary kinda woman o_O |

| Solid episode. The biggest gaslightning operation in modern anime history continues. And I gotta say, Love her, hate her, Freya is an amazing character. One of the best in Danmachi if not the best. Evil, possessive, manipulative and yet childish, innocent and charming at the same time. Her seeiyu is knocking it out of the park too. Her sultry voice is smoother than the finest silks and when she giggles and rolls in bed she sounds like a love struck teenager. Her showdown with Ouranous was also something I've been waiting for. They didn't show enough of the madness of the Folkvangr, but at least we got a glimpse of it. They need to show more of Bell's tiredness and weariness but I suppose they might focus on that next episode. And Van is as irritating in the anime as he is in the novels so well done on that account. As usual, Ais' scenes were kept as short as possible but thats a JC Staff standard. |

| Nice to finally meet Heith. Ikumin was the perfect cast for her. Brainwashed without even realizing it truly is a scary power. Not to mention the fact that anyone around you can be a spy that feeds intel back to Freya without them realizing. The odds really are against Bell huh. |

| The gaslighting of poor Bell Cranel continues at a worrying pace. Not only does Bell have to deal with grueling survival battles to the death against other Freya Familia members from sunrise to sunset, but Freya herself now has possession of the book that details his earlier exploits into the dungeon, which further pushes him closer to the epitome of mindbreak. There was one amusing moment when Freya ask him to take the buttons off on her dress and one moan was enough to send Bell running out of pure embarrassment. A little pathetic on his part, but it was pretty funny, as was Freya laughing in stitches over it. Meanwhile, Hestia continues to come to terms with how everyone has fallen for Freya's spell and that includes Hermes and even Ais. She did make sure to tell Ais to stay away from Bell for his own sake, as that could push him to the brink of despair if he finds out that Ais has also fallen for the same spell as virtually everyone else. Overall, this was another solid, if somewhat depressing episode, which further showcases how intimidating Freya has become with her plan to make Bell hers and hers alone. The fact that even Ouranous can't do anything to defy her is another reason to fear her right now. |

| This isn't even funny anymore. And if they're thinking to come up with an excuse, that Freya might have resorted to such *EXTREME* methods, but she was pure in her intentions all along, because all she was wanted was "lOvE", then that will be the dumbest ever attempt to redeem anyone in the history of any freaking media. If she wanna fuck, then just do that and call it a day. I've been saying this from the first episode. |
so the charm is not 100% foolproof and ppl close to him may get some hunches about the truth but freya, the omnipresent yandere, is there to prevent that. what a dedication! it seems like bell will have to "suffer" (even tho he could smash freya everyday but he's our virgin rizzler) for some more time... damn, she's really just a girl who wants to be loved (excessively) by Bell. it's cute and sad ig |

| Whatever Freya is doing. In my point of view. It is not love at all. It’s hard to even explain. All I see if Freya wanting him because of either his purity or soul. The way how Freya is handling this is going to “taint” or dirty his soul after breaking or weakening him then charming him. Then I am sure it won’t be the same Bell she loves. Even if she doesn’t care at all. This just feels so wrong. Love is a beautiful thing. But whatever Freya is doing it is not out of love anymore in my opinion. Freya sees Bell as an object and not a person that she wants to get her hands on no matter what after that rejection. Freya can’t get away with this forever. “Life” or “Fate” is going to be involved either way to give punishment to any god, goddess, or mortal. Hang in there Bell. But the way it is going, Bell looks like he is going to break and be charmed soon. Goodness gracious. |

| So for the gooner contingent of anime fans this whole freya situation is a massive “God I wish that was me” but for me this whole thing is extremely uncomfortable because freya is trying to violate bell in both mind and body, literally making him doubt himself and change his life. Not to mention charming the whole town like wtf. To me it’s no different from drugging and trying to assault someone or hypnosis, you can’t consent if your mind isn’t in the right place and this is textbook. S/O to hestia for working behind the scenes to continue giving Bell a fighting chance though. I appreciate that she realised if he rejected by Ais he’d probably snap so keeping them apart is the move for now. So far we know she has her memory and the receptionist at the guild at least has some feelings still for Bell. Idk how this is gonna end up being broken but I’m excited to see it play out. Freya could’ve just found someone who liked her for her instead of doing this, all that giggling on the bed like Syr at the end of the episode ain’t changing my mind lol. |

| I am glad that Air & Eina Tulle is thinking and fighting the Freya's influence, that gives me hope for the others to realize and fight too. I feel bad for Bell, he will really have to steel his nerves to take on this challenge, that will require enduing physical, emotional, mental, even spiritual pain that he has never endured all his life. Out of all the seasons, this has been the most uninteresting and boring arch I have seen so far, I hope they past this soon and get on to more important matters. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |
| Has anyone else thought that since Freya mentioned how people in the dungeon might not have been charmed, Wiene and the Minotaur might have a role to play in this? I seriously need another Juggernaut to kill all these Freya familia dicks, can't stand any of them |

| Freya continues to play mind games with Bell trying to slowly convince him that he was apart of the Freya familia. This involves breaking him physically through intense training and mentally by knowing the events of Bell's growth by stealing logbook from Eina at the Adventurer's guild. Of course Bell would chicken out when things get intimate with Freya which she found it very amusing. No wonder the people in Freya familia and the audience is jealous of Bell. |

| + 15 insight Bell would go crazy if this was written by someone else but there are already hints of the spell breaking. You just know in a mature scenario Ottarl would've held him down while Freya had her way with him and call it a day. |

How convenient. This really is some awful writing in this arc. The whole premise is so absurd. Cool to see how a strong and successful familia trains their fighters. Makes sense that they are so much better at combat than most when they spend each day killing one another. It is convenient. Understandable criticism, but it is not outside the realm of possibility. The setting is a fantasy world, and rare potions do exist. Its existence probably isn't known by many, hence why nobody has mentioned it before. |
| Freya is continuing to work her magic on everyone. She even has a few tricks up her sleeve like the status snitch. Eina showed that people can break out of the charm though, there is still hope. I am worried about Bell though, he is starting to think Freya and her familia is right. |
