Wow. That chase didn't end well with getting by a train....
RIP. A strange case tbh.

I'm still not feeling much about the main characters yet. In fact, they are introducing some new ones including a friend of Tsugumi. She and Sagisawa are also starting to get along quite well. Tsugumi's courage impresses me this episode though.

Guys liking the soup she made, it seems.

Dinner time disturbed because of the chase. And book got burned without seeing the soul. New guy (Sakurai-san), who got chased, is medical student.

"Takatsuchi" (not sure correct) is the group who burn books without checking, so a staff was added to "help out".

That medical student was met again at the first shop, who got something from him. Because of her brother, the student got involved in the case.

Then saw a man being weird with book that has aura, but too late because getting hit by train later.

Comparing to a book got from different case kept by Midorikawa-san's character. There's a group / someone made aura intentionally.

Her brother is fine, and met her friend who works for publishing company.

Medical student gave her the same thing that he gave that shop.

That group again... It seems like the group is active at night. He has the book with the aura.

That man with mask... so he's that medical student. He's saying the group she's in is using the books as bad use. He also recruited her.

She's wearing formal dress in next ep.... going to some kind of formal party that related to aura?

Tsugumi has a nice singing voice. That chase didn't end well for that guy. Got to meet a new character and got some backstory about him. Figured he was part of the group Kagutsuchi. Tsugumi was quite brave.

And another one joins the harem, but this new one seems really bent on getting to know our MC.

Seems were starting to get into the real stuff now though, intentionally creating cursed tomes to get people killed is quite something. But ummm... kind of brushed over all that pretty quickly, like, that was some intense mess, but they got over it fast... And the whole time this was all happening, all I could think was, "This would be so much more intense and threatening if they weren't just reading books"...

It's good to see Tsugumi get more involved with the cases as well as the story developing more about the tomes, but I still can't get invested in the guys, who all take a quick liking to Tsugumi and make passes at her. It just comes off as forced, all for the sake of giving the show a romantic subplot.

oof I didn't expect the chase to end up so bloody... Hit by a train seems a very gruesome way to go..

I knew Rui was going to be either part of Karasu or Kagutsuchi, I'm glad it's the latter, because at least they are on the good side, trying to burn the books to protect people!

I think I said this already but it feels too much like a reverse harem and I know that sounds weird lol. I'm still liking this anime though honestly, the one who I kind of care about now is Rui. The rest just seem like they're "there".

It's a shame that Rui, despite being a nice guy, is a part of the crows Kagutsuchi. They planed the trap very well it seems. I want to see how Tsugumi will react the next time she sees Rui >>;

It's good to see Tsugumi actually doing her job and investing herself in it instead of just sitting here and acting like a princess like in others otome adaption.

So far, so good. This show is definitely underrated. Below 6.00? Nani?

Now were talking here! 2 cursed tomes in just an episode!
So there are groups who instead of storing the cursed tomes, they destroy it by burning! looks like we have a capable opposing group!
4/5.

Reverse harem is OK for me if the female MC is capable, courageous and not a typical damsel in distress girl. In other words, I prefer my MCs strong and useful for fighting or working side by side with her reverse harem guys.
I am someone that would like to watch a Harem Anime with 2 male leads that each gets their own harem company of girls from the main cast. For example, 1st male lead gets a company of 4 girls and 2nd male lead gets 2-3 girls etc.

Well, so far, Tsugumi seems like a nice female lead. Granted she can't fight (at least not yet) but she seems to be brave.

The train sequence ended up surprising. Didn't expect gore in this anime, but okay. So far the only ones in the harem are like is Hayato because he has funny reactions, and Rui who is seems to be an antagonist. I'm glad we actually got an explanation for what the Tsugumi's group does with those cursed books though. I just assumed they kept them locked up, and didn't understand why they weren't getting rid of the ones they finished studying. If they are just rewriting them and removing the "bad" parts though that would be better then burning them. Wish they had gone into what the bad parts actually are though...

Rui isn't part of the crows though is he? From my understanding the crows are an organization that they suspect of purposely creating the cursed books to kill certain individuals. Rui's group seems to work similar to Tsumugi's except that instead of studying the books they are burning them, and their methods for acquiring the books is sketchier.

Burning a book is considered a crime in this anime... Oh, I love it so much! Books are friends, indeed!

How strange. Fukurou guys are looking for cursed tomes but it seems like none of them is able to see them. How did they manage to work before they got Tsugumi? Well, I know there are other people with ability like hers, but it really seem like she does most of the searching. Besides, how come they were unable to catch one light-hating guy? This is suspicious. Or, rather, just stupid.
But this episode was good. I'm a bit disappointed Tsugumi didn't recognize Takahiro Sakurai's voice right away. Well, even that mole on his face is enough to identify Rui.
