This, don't get me wrong it's an awesome series (number 1 on my top 5 in fact). But the first 10 or so episodes were just...meh.

Code Geass. Haven't finished this shit until today.
If I try to resume, I get bored to death and end up doing something else.
If I try to resume again, I give up in the middle of the episode or rage thanks to this disgraceful inconvenient fanservice.
If I try to resume YET AGAIN, I fall asleep.
So, can you imagine my happiness in knowing that I still have 5 episodes and one full sequel to watch? No, you can't. Shit.

I havent seen to many anime series yet.
And this is the first one I have been bored through.
It does have its fun points, and I still found it to be an awesome show.
I just found it to be boring at points

The first five or six episodes were interesting imao, but after that, all the fucking emo crap started and then somehow it just got boring. Took me a few months before I resumed and finally completed.. and no, I'm not gonna bother with R2.

I'm serious. From the many episodes I've seen, it gives off this sophoric atmosphere that bored me to death. From the many quiet conversations to the "action scenes" that are essentially 2 minute intermissions from the walking and conversations. And the whole "escorting seemingly helpless kid across Edo period Japan for some person/place" was perfected in Samurai Champloo, so this was just miserably slow and disappointing in comparison. I'm gonna get flamed for this but even L'Arc en Ciel's theme song was wasted with an OP consisting of walking and Balsa making concerned glances at water boy.

I'd vastly prefer a show where old farts talk about enacting a law in Nowheresville, Iowa to increase the red traffic light duration by 5 seconds than a show where it teases you with Balsa and the water kid only to be bored off my ass with wise sages talking about the water kid's potential.

I have never randomly watched an anime, so really I haven't had the problem of being bored because I knew what I was looking for to begin with. If I had to choose out of stuff that I ultimately enjoyed, what anime I found the most boreing.... Probably Lucky Star, since I have seen a lot of it, but I have no idea just how much, I got it on my compy, and prolly watched 12 episodes, then saw the last couple episodes and some in the middle. I just never had any ambition to watch it, not that I hate it, but does nothing for me really. Also when I started watching clannad AS I was a little turned off by the beginning because they dropped the comedy from the first season, and was just normal life. I knew something was bound to happen though since its the highest rated show on this site, and I had watched 1st season, so I was prepared for bad stuff LOL...

I was never board watching aria, not even slightly. Maybe it was the music, maybe it was that I had to concentrate so hard to remember who everyone's name was in the beginning because they all start with "A's" Akari, Aika, Akira, Alice, Ai, Alicia, Athena, Aria (president), Al, now the only names I can't remember from the show are the characters who didn't have an A as the first letter in their name.... Ponytail man, whatever his name was, and the sylph dude.....

I suppose there are people who get bored because they have a genre bias though too. People that need blood and fighting, or mechs and space battles are not gonna like a show like aria (probably).

My genre bias:
LOVE: Sci Fi, Action, Seinen stuff, Mystery
NEUTRAL: Slice of Life, Horror, Psycological, Romance
HATE: Giant Robots

That being said, if its good, I can usually overlook my bias. I loved EVA, but hate giant robots, dont really care about romance, but loved clannad S1&2...

I have a load that I found "boring"
Here are the highlights
Dark Myth -
Total and complete animated drivel. Now I understand that animes are meant to have a plot of sorts and I do like a good story line and this one has that, but its possibly one of the most annoying ones
For three episodes I put up with it and it got no-ware

Bleach -
Copy paste same old story line that Dragonball Z did it long before Bleach did.
It showed promise at the start of the series with it looking more like "Ghostbusters" with samurai, but then in walked the power level shite to spoil it.

K-on -
Stupid "Cute girls daily life" shite
I felt that Beck did this better

Prince of Tennis -
Watched due to it looked interesting (replace fists for rackets), yeah it wasn't.

Ill get round to covering the rest of the ones on my dropped list later

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Season Two.

I have to agree, I've just watched the first 7 episodes yesterday and I was really suffering. I don't know how I'll gather the strenght to watch the rest, the only thing that keeps me wanting to go on is the hope that maybe... possibly... they don't drag this "trapped in time" thing on for another 7 episodes and maybe there will be something else happening as well. It's a pity they ruined the show like this, because I really like the characters and I even like the idea of this endless summer thing, but they should have ended it in 2 episodes or such. I'm starting to understand what Nagato felt after watching the same two weeks happening over and over for 600 years.

If you think this series was interesting for any reason, please tell me as soon as possible so that I can notice it as well and enjoy the rest of it. Thank you!

Don't get me wrong, I like Lucky Star, but sometimes, its just plain boring. At some points of an episode (or the entire episode... =_=) I catch myself staring at the clock.

I think the only reason I gave it a high score was because although it was boring most of the time, I still liked the characters (mainly the otaku :3) and music.
