Next episode will be awesome! This episode was very loyal to the Visual Novel itself and it was pretty good, looking foward for the fights!

Things escalated so quickly, compared to FSN.

Shiro's discomfort from Saber makes me a bit concerned. I hope Rin's not getting dropped as a romantic interest.

The romance hasn't started yet.

In the VN, Shirou also does feel discomfort around Saber at the initial stage. And he just has a mere crush on Rin at this point. They haven't knew each other well enough.

Everything is faithful so far. Just wait for few more episodes and you will see who is the boss.

I'd say the seeds are sown already - they met, they tried to kill each other, he took a dagger through an arm for her and then they bonded over their deadbeat dead dads. That's one hell of a set up for a pairing tbh :P

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Shirou hasn't felt in love at this point. He would protect everyone like he did for Rin. I will point it out exactly the moment when it comes in few more episodes. ;)
Not sure about Rin side though.

School Days really is terrible at even that. I really disliked it through and through, not to mention it's super unrealistic.

As for Twilight, if they were to make a movie out of a vampire love story it should be Orange Marmelade, not Twilight.

I didn't expect Assassin and Caster to make there appearance this early on in the anime.
Tho it's a bit exciting makes me wonder what's going to happen, i am pretty pleased with this development.
Tho i also wonder what the others are up to.

More like, that protagonist should be a loner.

I wasn't referring to the yandere. Usually it pisses me off if people liking someone makes no sense in any anime

Well I like to pretend Psycho Pass Season 2 doesn't exist(just like how there is no Tsukihime anime), and Psycho Pass S1 will always be treasured in my heart as being the ending of Psycho Pass.

Until the movie of course.

It was shit most of the time.
Slap seinen on your anime tag and you've got an instant hit.
Slap some darkness in 1st episode and you've got an instant hit.
Slap some dark quotes and you've got an instant hit.

People are just desperate for an adult anime. And I don't mean hentai. I mean something where things are desperate, dark and adult themed.

I am not judging. I am the same. That's why I keep watching no matter how much it annoys me.

In how females are treated? Yes. Not as much as his other works though, but it is very clearly felt.

It's "Lets bash FZ in order to make FSN look better" time.

Even though EVERYTHING that Gen wrote was approved by Nasu so that means Nasu is a misogynist jerk too.

The females of FZ arent treated differently from FSN females.Especially when you have FSN "mysterious foreigner" in the story.

Both Nasu and Gen are pretty sexist, but in different ways. Nasu enjoys writing a White Knight's wet dream, whereas Butch just uses women as devices to perpetuate his anti-heroes' angst (although Nasu is also guilty of this)

Really not seeing how Nasu writes "white knight's wet dream" considering there's a strong foundation in his works for female characters to be strong on their own and NOT need saving. Hell in most cases the females are stronger than the MC and are sometimes saving HIM.

Otherwise I said all I wanted in other threads So I am not going to derail this one.

Episode that can be considered the first break to understand the thought that animate the characters. A useful thing to understand better the viewer the characters participating in this anime.
From the narrative shows that attacking people are more of a Servant.
Interesting to make a comparison between the servant seen in F / Z and those seen in this new production.
The drawings and animations remain at the highest levels.
Archer finally meet again in action, I'm more into the skin.

Oh so one female character wanting to be saved BY ANYONE makes an entire story white knight fan fiction.

No comment about the other series.

You did a great job at making the stories as simple as possible.

I think what sjack meant in the latter case was that there were female characters, like Aoi Tohsaka, who
It's similar to how people viewed the situation with the death of one of the more important female characters in Hannibal.

So?FSN didnt have that?It would be better if it was a male character?

People are very quick to judge any "mistreatment "of female chars in fiction as sexism.

Well you know, MEN act and "develop" because of women in real life. Why shouldnt writers use that?

Your example isnt very good when that male char was written with the sole reason to suffer.
