It seems Silva fought Chrollo once before, probably back when he killed that Troupe member before. Anyway, this is another good indicator of what a true Nen battle is like.

Definitely another one of my favorite fights in Hunter x Hunter. I'd put it over Kurapika vs. Uvo as well. Fantastic stuff.

Interesting that Chrollo uses his newest ability (Owl's) in this very important battle. Wonder if he got to try it out beforehand.

chrollo vs the zoldycks is probably my second favorite fight in hunter x hunter so far...

that flashback to when silva fought a younger chrollo would be an intersting fight to see

Killua's families just have Ki blasts lol. I like the downside of Chrollo's specialist nen ability is that he needs the book open to use copied abilities.

Throughout this chapter Zeno looks very Dragon Ball inspired with his kiai (martial arts yell) and Vegeta-esque facial expressions. Maybe its because I'm also re-reading DBZ at the same time but with all the Ki blasts and speed martial arts (and Zeno's hairstyle) I think Togashi is leaning into his influences here. Especially they way Zeno turns his fingers for the dragon attack; it looks a lot like when Vegeta blows up Cui.

Also, its just two low-detail panels but Sylva referencing that he fought Chrollo before is really cool. I don't think either anime adaptation references that? I could be wrong because its such a quick thing but that's really cool.

Also also, its kinda funny that the Zoldycks fight for money. Even relatively low-level hunters have access to what seems to be the equivalent of millions of dollars and the power of at least a mid-tier government agent/influencer. For the money to matter to nen-users as strong as the Zoldycks it would have to be such ungodly amounts that anything past the first paycheque would be unusable by anything smaller than a small city's worth of people. I don't think its a plot hole or something for them to be money motivated but it is sort of funny.
