| So freaking satisfying😭❤️ Been a while since I last watched a villainess anime. Off the bat it has potential to be an all timer of those genre. I already love Scarlet so much. Just tolerating annoyance but exploding to an limit, quite relatable. The son from same bloodline this much difference is wild. One is literal trash and idiot and other is an intresting animal. I am really liking their chemistry already. But this girl alone is enough..  |
She ate and left no crumbs. First of all love how she was narrating to us breaking the 4th wall. What a satisfying unleash of her fury after all that she endured. Put that snarky clown of a prince kyle and his bitch of a lover "fiance" in their places. Also fuck those nobles (kyles supporters rather) as well standing there and clapping their asses off. Especially that one mf who was ready to trade his wife for protection wtf. Then there were those slave traders, all scum bags no wonder they are under the douchebag kyle. I like Julius and how he brings out the best in Scarlet pushing her to be better while also being mischevious and playful with her. Also when everyone calls her unlady like, hes the one complimenting her soft side & beautiful charms. Ahh my inner shipping side is giggling.Hes such a lovable interesting & entertaining fellow incomparison to his loser of a younger brother.  Anyways found a new best girl indeed and shes so gorgeous on top of that. You have have to be madman to cheat on such a divine blessing. True Villainess has born indeed & a fitting name scarlet. :3  The art style is gorgeous down to every last detail and the apt animation to combine it with. Lidenfilms have done a great job again. Great opening by Chico & Honeworks, recognized their style immediately. They always deliver especially in their romantic setting. ED was nice too & interesting, it had a chill but also a dark vibe to it especially with the visuals.. The singer did a good job on the vocals, first time listening to shiyui. i would like to listen to their other works as well. |

| Scarlets response to her ex fiancee betraying her was the textbook response. Having clobbing evildoers with her fists is one hell of a hobby. Even as a child Kyle was a brat. Compared to him the crown prince fits the image of a royal much more seamlessly. The crown prince being the contrast to his idiotic younger bro through their morality sure was a nice way to define the two sides of the kingdom's nobility. The contest between Julius and Scarlet sure was fun. Still her pummeling of Kyle's supporters as she exited the ball was the best way to end her engagement. Overall an utterly cinema of an opening ep. |

| The visuals are what convinced me to start this show, especially since I’ve been feeling a bit burned out with the villainess genre lately. The story isn’t bad so far, at least from the first episode, but I’m not sure how it’ll progress from here. Julius and Scarlet are the only characters that really caught my attention, and I’m looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops. |

| It's still early days, and with so little information available, nothing is clear yet. That said, describing her violent nature as "liking to hit people since childhood" lacks credibility. Based on Episode 1 alone, it looks like nothing more than criminal behavior, so this aspect will need to be properly fleshed out going forward. |

| Now that's taking out the trash.... It was very satisfying to see Scarlet beat up all those corrupt nobles, that damn pretender Tenezza, and the damn prince who had soured her life since she was little. I'm not sure if the anime will develop a romantic subplot, as it seems to convey a strong message of empowerment, but honestly, that wouldn't be a bad direction either. Solid start. |
