| What an incredible second season this has been! I didn't think they could do it but Cloverworks somehow managed to make an arguably better season than the first one, and im really happy to see it. a bit sad to see the season ending but oh well maybe we will get another season in two or three years, hopefully. |

| I knew that Akira would have a positive feeling towards Marin, though I thought it would be something more than just fangirling. Lots of cosplay stuff again, I was hoping for a bit more romance tbh. All in all another great season of My Dressup Darling, Marin x Gojo is still my favorite couple in anime. I feel like this season there was more focus on side characters than last season which is fine, since we also got a lot of Marin x Gojo scenes in other episode. What they really tuned down is the fanservice though, which is why I can't rate this season as highly as season 1. Still hoping to get an announcement for a third season soon, 9/10 for this one. |

| you kidding me, i said if the akira - marin mystery they milked this much gonna be something shit like her being a fan of marin i'm gonna furious. and i was. but they made it fun so it was okay at the end. and Marin didn't confess at the end. bruh looks like it's gonna be at the end of the season 3. so when will season 3 will come? better come out in next years or else imma read ts. edit: bruh just saw that manga only have 116 chapters and season 2 ended up on chapter 86. there's like 30 chapters to adapt.just how fast things are gonna progress???? by the looks of it it's gonna be a confess and over typpa manga. sadge..... |

| Man, as someone who was a big enough fan of the first season to nearly give it a 9 and ended up with Marin in my favorite characters for about two years, I'm pretty disappointed with this season. Unlike last season where it was mainly Juju and Shinju rounding out the supporting cast, there were way too many characters added that pulled focus away from Gojo and Marin's relationship. All Marin's school friends except Nowa were practically interchangeable. Amane was probably the only really notable new character for me with how he introduced a whole other side of cosplaying with cross-dressing. The Akira reveal was something pretty much everyone saw coming and that it was dragged out over several episodes made it worse. All the more disappointing because she was one of the more interesting new characters before that. Feels like the entire series is afraid of any real conflict or negativity except in the characters' backstories. Then the whole non-confession...yeah. I still really like Marin and at least the cosplaying aspect was still as good as the first season, so I'll give it a 7/10, but it's close to a 6 honestly. |
| Lol it was so funny to see Akira's reaction when she learned that Marin thought she hated her, that's the opposite and Akira is a huge Marin fan ahahah. Her scream was insane XD Too bad Marin didn't confess to Gojo for the ending but at least they took a picture together. |

| I have been waiting for this particular episode all season by far the episode of the season. The nun cosplays look just way too pretty... Poor Juju sama tho but a great oneechan. For a moment I thought Akira thing will keep going into next season but finally her overflowing love for Marin is revealed. Just a average simp like many others but way better character obviously. But did CR translate Oshi as Best girl -_- Don't remember Marin confession bait but nice way to end the season. Don't worry about confessing girl he will do the honours, eventually in S3. Please make that. 7.5/10 Production quality is 10/10 godly work by Cloverworks but the middle portion with that school festival is lowest point of the series and very bad. Atleast Himeno & Nun parts are amazing enough to balance it out. Gojo serious face some hilarious specimen🫡 |

@ss4chris Yes, original ending they cut chapter 86 in half because the end of this chapter reveal the final cosplay and instead they did an anime original scene out of nowhere lmao (the original scene starts in the train 'till the end) so weird especially since they put the final cosplay in the ED too...
I guess the curse of romcoms getting an anime only scene as an ending and no season 3 sequel continues after Nagatoro ... Damn it Aniplex, I know MDUD is no Demon Slayer but you could've at least greenlighted a season 3, there's 30 chapters left to adapt it's not a big deal...

| Well, I assumed that what Akira felt towards Marin wasn't hatred, but rather obsession. But I never imagined it would be so intense that he would faint from crying so much just to be with her. It was beautiful while it lasted. I loved this second season: it had many funny and touching moments, new characters, new cosplays, and the animation style changed a bit, which made it more fluid. It was obvious that Marin wouldn't confess to Gojou... I haven't read the manga, but I know it's not very long and that, given where it left off this season, it won't be long before the story ends, so rather than a third season, it's likely that it will all end with a film. Whatever it is, I'll be eagerly awaiting it. |

| Maybe I've missed it somehow but, can someone who saw through Akira's true feelings b4 they were revealed in this ep tell me what pointed this out to you? Because I only saw she disliked/hated her. Everything we saw was framed for that point. Even the Hime greeting when she leaves was focused on an anime acrylic stand and not a mag of Marin. There was, far as I cna tell, no actual hints that Marin is Akira's Oshi. So this comes majorly out of left field. As for those upset about no romance, and some even claiming there wasn't progress this season. There was progress, it wasn't much but it was there. And on the romance side, I said this to another at the start of the season but this was 100% to be expected. Even though it really looked like she was gonna confess there, so I get the disappointment over it just being a selfie... even still, this is a troupe in romance anime which is why I said we were lucky to even get that pocky scene at the start of this season and if we get anymore, we'd be lucky. We got more alright, 100% of how 99% of all romance anime are for most of their run. As for S2 itself, it was imo, as good as S1, even if it was different in some ways. I was really worried about the art style changes at the start of the season but they quickly fazed those out and only used em sparingly and effectively when the scene was good for it. For a show about cosplay as its first and for most content, it succeeds again. Romance is as expected and Marin continues to be awesome, was great seeing new sides to her :) Sequel when?... |
| Solid 8/10 this season wasn't as good as the first in my opinion but it was fine and had few things better than season 1 i think for example the animation has improved though i'd choose the first season and it had better storyline but yeah solid 8/10 |
| Fantastic animation this season. This season was candy for the eyes and it was so fun to see these two slowly grow closer together. Can’t wait for the confession! |
