| Klen seeing the destitution around the King of Hiden, Luna and the Book of Toah, that cemented his reality on what humanity means to him, Drel's attack is only justified against "true humanity", but Alicia is not going to back down from a fight, much less care about their tarnished reputation as the 13 Heroes being led with a false heroic doctrine. Alicia is her own hero going against Drel with his Regalia sword, that aided with Princess T'ala's hammer which managed to break away at chipping the sword, finally put an end to Drel being consumed by Vordin's dark ichor. Same with Klen bringing out Luna, for T'ala to see that her son is still alive, and Klen putting him on his own two feet to walk to her, it's the mark of humanity for the infant himself. Klen keeping the Book of Toah to himself, and the grue that he learnt of Drel may have ended this lethal battle, but the study on humanity is just beginning for him, as Royes spread the word that Drel has been defeated. The Book, however, needs deciphering of its original context, as Klen finds that the key attached to it doesn't open the book, so there could be more books like it out in the wild. The Queen Dowager inviting Klen, Alicia and Nelluru to her quarters to thank them for saving the Hiderat region, especially for Nelluru since she's been keeping Luna fed with her breastmilk all the way. Klen wanting to be Luna's magic teacher as a reward, that's quite the turnaround for someone done with humanity, want to pursue humanity further. What a show alright, and this is a master mark on dark fantasy stories done oh so right. Amazing, and I'm stoked to looking forward to Season 2 now. |

| Damn watching Luna made me emotional. He took his first steps and walked towards his goal like a true king. The reunion was emotional as well. Also Alicia did it, great work. She also made Klen change his decision. Girl has really come far. Proud of them. Happy for Nelluru as well. Good season overall. Liked the dark fantasy setting and the animation/visual style elevated it. Was among the best this season. Looking forward to season 2. |

| Through her journey as Clevatess's servant, Alicia found once more the strength of conviction and strength of working together and at the final hour she was able to convince Clevatess not to abandon humanity, that there is still hope and potential within it, within Luna and she was able to defeat General Dorel with the help of Neruru, the Crowned Princess Anzetta and Royes. Clevatess continues with his original plan, to learn more about humanity, to influence it from the shadows and now with new goal of searching for the remaining Books of Tor. So end the story started by the Book of Tor, the story of a manipulated King, a curious Demon King, an infant Prince, a broken Hero, and a truth seeking General, for now. Can't wait to see what's next for Clen and Alicia! I personally want to see Neruru to get more character development and learned to use her power to the fullest  8:29 the goriest scene I've seen this year and 11:47 one of the most wholesome scene this year in one episode 😅 |
| Absolute cinema, enjoyed all of the episode. Truly an underrated series of this season. I love klen chemistry with the whole gang. This shit deserve a second season. |
| Alicia was victorious on two fronts. It's great that she defeated Drel, but it is legendary that she was able to convince Klen to see the value in Luna once he had given up on them. Katie Wetch did an amazing job portraying her and I'm glad I checked out this excellent dark fantasy show. The characters were cool and the fights were epic. I do hope it gets a season two! |

| Nellulu not used to receive kindness and gratitude. Would be cool to see her overcome her self-doubt after knowing nothing but abuse and become mentally stronger overall throughout the course of the story. Not revolutionary, but always nice to see a really solid dark fantasy. This series really surprised me in that regard. Hope we Looking forward to get more of this in the future. 7/10 The Epic season finale bumbped up my score. |

| Never in doubt. Anime of the season. This had all the makings of great finale, emotional moments like Alicia convincing Klen to stay with Luna, an epic battle between Alicia and Drel, touching reunion between Luna and his mother and plenty of set up for season 2 with a new direction for this story to go in. I just found out the author of this has also worked on some JRPGs in the past and it all makes sense now. The world building and storytelling in this was amazing, but this finale just feels like a perfect bookend to part 1. I can’t wait for season 2 They clearly saved most of the budget for this finale because this looked amazing. Alicia’s seiyuu put in one of the best performances this season as she convinced Klen to stay with Luna, the way even someone like Klen couldn’t walk away from Luna taking his first steps is so cool. Luna’s first steps are also sorta emblematic of humanity as a whole. Struggling to survive and advance in this world dominated by dark beasts who are stronger. The indomitable nature of the human spirit is what makes us special and that resonates with Klen in that moment. Then the transition to Alicia’s showdown with Drel. Animation looked incredible for her stream splitter attack, wow. Seen some fucked up ways to die, but Drel getting skinned alive and reduced to ashes is up there. They did NOT have to go so hard with the sound effects either holy shit. I almost felt bad for him at the end as we saw his regret about how things ended with Alicia’s father. One things for sure, the other dark beasts are not nearly as nice as Clevatess. “The king must return on his own” such a beautiful scene because it shows how much Klen understands the importance of a child’s first steps and these big human milestones as well as showing how much he’s come to appreciate humanity. Largely thanks to Alicia. Great character development moment We really are fortunate that Clevatess has got a chance to see the best in humanity, like the queen kneeling to Nelluru and thanking her for feeding and taking care of Luna all this time is such a beautiful moment. Further affirms to Klen that not all humans are selfish evil creatures. Of course he asks to be Luna’s magic teacher so he can keep watching over him, we’re basically Koujo denka, but good now lol. Ahhh season 2 officially announced and it looks like we might be in some sort of academy based on Klen and Alicia outfits?? Cannot wait to see where the story goes next with Toah, true humanity, the battle with the other dark beasts.. I’m gonna start reading this weekend because I can’t wait that long lol. Gonna miss this so much. |

We are on chapter 24, I see 52 translated chapters and I think I read somewhere the last chapter in japan is around 60, so there is plenty enough.
Also news says it has entered its final arc, so will probably finish soon.

| @00christian00 If it's going to finish soon, that's another reason for not making a second season immediately. When the series is finished / there is more material to adapt, they can make better decisions about how they want to adapt it. You shouldn't be rushing those things... |
| Absolute cinema! A decent dark fantasy without any excesses. Alicia, as a heroine, is good both in design and character. It's a bit of a shame that not everything fit into the episode regarding the name of the future king and the throne (it appeared automatically), when his fate was not yet known. And yes, they showed the beginning of the next story arc, which looks great together with the news that a sequel is in production. Of course, a solid 10. I don't regret a single second of the time spent for this great adaptation. |
| What a great conclusion to the end of Clevatess. Drel really went out with a bang! A suitably epic and gruesome death for the BBEG. Seeing Luna walk to his mother made me tear up, what a heartfelt reunion that was. All together it was a pretty good dark fantasy. I feel we don't get enough of these, the last one I can think of is Ubel Blatt and it suffered from production issues. I think the studo writers did a good job telling this arc in a single season. Obviously it could have been longer to give some of the characters room to breath, but nevertheless I am satisfied with what we got. |
| Pretty fitting for a baby king's first steps to have such an earth-shattering presence. The goosebumps from both times where Luna just walked were crazy, but Nell receiving the full gratitude from the queen knowing how she started out hit me the hardest. By far the most pleasant surprise of an unbelievably stacked season, like damn. |
| There's still more dialogue they didn't show in the episode, but this is where the arc ends in the manga. | If Alicia isn't the best girl this season then she has to be top 3. Amazing character who showed a her strength, smarts and heart which was enough to convince Clevatess not to give up on humanity, a feat I didn't think was possible. This season ending means dark fantasy anime fans go back to starvation, at least until a hopeful seaason 2! |

| What a fantastic ending to this anime! Was really concerned that Klen was just gonna peace out after the ennding of the previous episode, but glad Alicia was able to convince him to stick around for longer :D Words cannot express how badly I need a season 2 of this! A fantasy anime that ISN'T isekai is so rare these days, not to mention with this kind of world bulding and animation quality! Definitely one of my top 5 new anime from this season! 👍 |

| I loved this show from beginning to end, the perfect amount of seriousness and goriness without going over the top which I don't like, Luna is so cute, it got me emotional when he finally mastered the ancient art of walking, I wonder what is going to happen with Naie, I also like her like our main party. So glad we immediately got confirmation of S2. |

| Personally, one of the best anime of the season—though I feel it went pretty unnoticed. I’m so glad a second season has already been confirmed; the story and world have so much potential to explore. The war is over and Drel has been defeated, but there are still many mysteries surrounding the books, the true humans, and Toah—the creator and manipulator behind it all. It’s a great anime, with solid action and emotional moments (that scene of Luna walking toward her mother was so beautiful, though part of me was afraid something bad might happen). I’m really looking forward to season two and seeing more of Clevatess and Alicia. |

| "Are you alright?!" "Are you alright, hero?!" Just look at her, Shes a mess. Clevatess has a plan. I hope it is the cleverest. Ruin of kingdoms. Genocide of races. Upheaval of the world. Mostly boring to Clevatess. Mystery of some old books, now that is fascinating. I have a hard time envisioning Clevatess and Alicia in school. Pretty good show. Been cruising around a highish 8 for me most of the season. But with a lot of scenes with the lavender haired Princes?Queen dowager MILF at the end, bump it up to a low 9. |

| And so we end with Drel's defeat, the kingdom's salvation with the return of King Luna and....Clevatess the magic teacher? Gotta admit, wasn't anticipating that last bit given the tone of the series to that point lol. I kinda figured Clevatess was just gonna forcibly take Luna again or something, but I guess a change of pace in the upcoming season 2 might be nice. On the whole this was a solid dark fantasy series. A bit on the edgy side occasionally, but never to a distractingly bad degree. I don't have much else to say though honestly except I'm looking forward to season 2. Solid 7/10. |

| Wow a decent first season fantasy, great world build, banger OP, interesting conclusion and a great MC. Even in this super stacked season, it wasn’t overshadowed. Of course, Alicia being the best girl of the season, does give it extra points. She is such badass  I really hope the next season can maintain the level of world building. So many similar shows that hit their peak with their first season tend to fall off. I look forward to the next season. |
