| For a first episode, this was thoroughly entertaining and pretty fun to watch. It got me excited for what’s to come in the future. |
Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load. |

Having completed the show I realise why it was important this episode was first. Cid didn't use his resurrection as an opportunity to redo himself, as an escape from a mediocre life, none of that. He was shown to be a top notch vigilante with laser focus and absolute conviction and he took all of that up a whole load of notches upon landing in his new world. A list of isekai protags like him will be a short list. |

| Meh cliche first episode. What they did have to do is add violence and blood to hook the newcomers and that seemed like to work: The hype is here. *sigh* Oh well, let´s see what this edgy anime/protagonist has to offer in the following episodes. And the main antagonist of this first episode is the famous very well known... truck-kun! xD |

| Disappointed in this show, this is a perfect example of why sometimes you don't need to isekai your characters. This would've been an interesting show about a (sociopathic?) main character with a hero complex being a vigilante of some sort, but instead they went the Chatgpt route and made it a harem isekai. first 17 minutes: 8/10 the rest = 3/10 |

| I forgot this was Isekai until I saw the news. He was a vigilante in his past life. But his current life seems to be more interesting. |

True that it isn't what you would expect from a normal harem since the focus on the girls is so minimal it might as well not be there. But it definitely is what I would expect from a typical isekai. This show is originally a web novel, the author also isn't an established writer and this is his first work meaning it's not hard to replicate the steps to get published especially if you have story that is 10 times better. If the story really is 10 times better getting even at least quarter of the popularity of eminence in shadow is far from impossible basically with story that 10 times better than eminence in shadow, the chance to make something big out of it also 10 times bigger. it's just statistics |
