| It's funny that the serpent they were worshiping was just a man-eating worm. The members of the Kito family being greyed out also is weird. The action scenes were a blast though with Momo's drop kicks. |

| I wasn't the biggest fan of season one, but it had a slick art style and a beautiful OP. Glad to see that this new season is keeping both. Love that new OP. |
| Ah, Dandadan is finally back. Season 1's finale was probably one of the weirdest season finales I've ever seen cause it just ended right in the middle of beginning an arc. If there hadn't been a half-year break in between, I'm sure Season 2 would've just been called Season 1 Part 2. That was probably the plan. But if by waiting longer they can deliver better animation, then I think the wait is worth it. I don't think the new OP is bad. But it's going to be hard to top the first one. I feel about the same about the new ED. But I vastly prefer the old ED. Good thing Momo was able to avoid those creepy geezers. Thanks, Turbo Granny. But man, that family was creepy af. Glad they were eaten. I don't want to see those assholes again. This was a great start. I can't wait for the rest. Although I remembered most things, rewatching Season 1 was the right move, given how Season 2 was a direct continuation. What a great start to a great season. |

| Ahh..the DanDaDan season couldn't have started with anything other than attempted rape XDD OP much worse but still a banger imo Finally we got a continuation of the arc that was broken off at a random moment and well..nothing special happened, a few things that no one asked about but had to be explained, they were explained, then some action and the episode ended, just when something more interesting started happening. The followers of this worm were really weird, too weird and I don't know if they were supposed to be scary or funny but I know they didn't manage to be either, in the end they came out bland and as quickly as they appeared, they disappeared just as quickly. Momo as usual, a day like any other, she almost gets raped and doesn't care. Turbo grandma doesn't care and Okarun and the other one... just were there. 3/5 |
| It's cool how much Momo managed to defend herself as much as she did before resorting to her psychic powers, not to mention all the clutch saves Turbo Granny's been dishing out lately |

| Weirdest start to a S2 I have seen in a while. Should have been a Cour 2. Kinda forgot what was going on in the previous season, so imagine my confusion when there are a bunch of old men assaulting Momo. |

| meh, i don't like the new EP.OP... shoulda stuck with Creepy Nuts n Zutomayo. sure the art n animation are pretty and i like em. good work on the visuals! but the songs? :p they're turkeys... lame. etc. otherwise, just as much fun, action, and adventure so far as S1 left us off with... it HAS been a LONG GONE time since a 'part' ended ABRUPTLY like that in my memory to pick everything up in the next 'part' within SECONDS of where the first 'part' ended. it has been such a while that all i can recall is the vague inkling of 'grrrr---arrrghh! i don't like that!' :<< annnd then DanDaDan S1 ended like that annnd... yup... it's not fun.... |

| S1 OP was always hard to beat. But i like both S2 OP and ED. The song matches the setting for this upcoming arc and the visuals are always great. That fight scene was clean. As a manga reader I am happy how the production hasn’t lowered. Momo carried hard that episode. But dont worry Okarun and Jiji will have their moments. Great to have S2 back :D |
| I think the Kito family is a jab at the "code of silence" by which many people in rural towns and villages live by. The village has it's ancient ritual. No one may interfere, no matter how unjust or dumb it is, especially outsiders. Locals don't even really understand it. The Kito family is pretty powerful. It's rich and has many connections, enough to let the police close several eyes when they commit crimes. They essentially rule the town, and take care of the ritual. They're depicted that way to show how villainous they are, despite not being actual aliens. Or maybe they are in fact aliens. I haven't read the manga, so I don't know. Crazy good episode btw. Picks up exactly where S1 left off. It's more of DanDaDan, which is exactly what I wanted. |

| Calm ep We are back about 6 months later and the craziness doesn't halt for one second. Heard about the production problems, hope it isn't worse then s1's the animation is still great. We meet the Kito family, full of weirdos trying to grab Momo and beat up Okarun and Jiji. Momo escapes but the guys fail to defend themselves. Momo gets there and fails to save them. Tho, the ritual with the serpent lord has different ideas and drags everyone to the bottom of the site. Now the goal is to stop the turbo granny invested Okarun before he kills Jiji. Great op and ed, tho the music is kinda weaker. This ep adapted ch 34-37, and like a page or two of 38, but in a weird way. 9/10 |

| 6 months later and Momo is finally free from the hot spring lol, I’m sure it was rough being stuck in there with those creepy fellas for all that time. Jokes aside, it is that time once again, it’s nice to see Dandadan back on my screen, it’s a shame this arc was cut short last fall but I’m happy to finally be able to see where it goes here in the summer of the next year, and because we ended in the middle of an arc, this didn’t feel like much of a first episode, but it was fun all the same so I can’t complain much. The Kito Family sure was something weren’t they, but you’re telling me they’re just powerful old people and not possessed or something? I find that hard to believe lol, it’s possible there’s more to be revealed about them bedsides the fact they’ve been sacrificing people to keep this serpent god satisfied, but if the moment they got ate by their god was the end of them, maybe there isn’t more to them lol, I guess we’ll see about that. And I really enjoyed the sequence of Momo taking on the Kito Family, beautifully animated and super fun to watch, the Jennifer Lopez attack caught me off guard lol. But damn the end of the episode was yet another ball tickler, thankfully this time we just have to wait a week to see what happens tho lol, it’s good to be back. And wow that OP and ED were straight heaters both in music and visuals, of course it’s really hard to say they’re better than the first season’s songs which were pretty iconic, but perhaps with time that might change, music is funny like that. |
| We're so back! Peak has arrived! Wait... what the fuck happened to the opening? It's okay but it's no Otonoke, not even close! I would have been more pumped if the studio had challenged Creepy Nuts to come up with a new opening or failing that just stayed with Otonoke. I had actually read ahead a bit of the manga after last season's cliffhanger so I was not surprised by the hotspring scene. But I hadn't read further so I was totally surprised by the cultists trying to sacrifice our intrepid leads to some freaky looking worm. Turns out if you give a Mongolian deathworm regular meals it will grow quite large. Doesn't make it any more intelligent though as the cultists found out to their detriment. I'd rate this a 9/10 but I am deducting a point for the disappointing opening 8/10. |

| Continuing on from pretty much the dialogue interrupted by the end of the first season, I had to recall where Jiji and Okarun were as well as Momo being in the onsen. The action didn't take long to come back thanks to a bunch of creeps who we discovered then were from a family that had traditionally sacrificed people to an UMA earthworm in order to prevent the volcano for erupting. Well so much for that nonsense after being eaten. Now it's up to these 3, Jiji in particular, to figure a way out of this mess. Also, not particularly a fan of the new OP just yet. It's not bad but the first one was way better. |

| we're back after leaving off on an awful cliffhanger. the new op song not as memorable as the previous one but i still like it, the visuals go hard though. the ed song and visuals are okay. they didn't really do the iconic death worm panel justice but the artstyle prevents the manga art from being proper justice anyway. granny turbos great though. think i would be enjoying this a lot more if i wasn't jaded by the manga, especially the recent arcs but we'll see how this adaptation goes. |
