| this nothinghotdog gave me such a sour aftertaste in my mouth that i won't give the manga any chance whatsoever even tho i initially planned to read it after s1 but life happened. as things stand, this sequel achieved the opposite of promoting the source materials. a shame indeed. |

| I still liked it even with how absurdly rushed it was, but it really hurts. The plot is so interesting. This would have been amazing with some care and proper pacing. |
| Yea started reading the manga from chapter 70 and there's so many extra scenes with characterizations. Overall flows way better than what we got second half of the anime. |
| I am speachless how bad it is. They didn't just dropped some things. They literally speedrunned the season after the school arc. Even the last few minutes were noticable sped up. And this episode, in particular, caused me to feel the sheer amount of not giving a damn thing by the animation crew about proper adaptation of this arc. Why. |

| Holy shit they did the Red-exclusive powerup. I was not expecting that. Usukubo went from basic to cute to an absolute beauty all in a single episode lol. Anway, gonna start the manga because of hype (and based on the adaptation complaints on this thread). Personally wasn't bothered since first cour also had the same problem of being bad in the latter half. Using last season's OP felt strangely nostalgic btw, probably a sign this won't get a new season real soon. A shame because it definitely beats out recent shonens in terms of writing. |

| season felt scrambled and really disappointing. largely, I felt the pacing was all over the place. a 13th episode would have been nice at least. Also the animation was all over the place too. |

| Angel going for that D oh damn im not first to make the joke. Even without the source I could tell this adaptation was rushed cramming too much near the end of this season but overall still pretty enjoyable. Should have been at least 3 episodes longer might have given enough breathing room or maybe if it from start was a 2 cour it might have spaced things out better if they absolutely could have have gotten a less common series length time slot |

| They started off this season strong ngl but it quickly went downhill. Still enjoyed both seasons however and if they make a third one I hope they can redeem themselves |
| Honestly, looking forward to seeing more of Hibiki and D antics! It seems that D spent a whole year away so I’m curious to know what happened in the outside world during that time. I desperately need the third season, but I’ll patiently wait for them to release it and I’m hoping that it isn’t too fast pace since this season felt way too rushed at times. |

| Despite the epicness of the ending, overall this season has been weaker than the first. Even Angel's crush on D hasn't been as rushed as this season, and it shows, especially if you've read the manga. This episode crammed so much stuff in all at once. Ramaru is still alive (and I don't even remember them hinting that he survived). Angel is not Yakushi's daughter, but a vessel for Julimerida. And the whole battle between the Dragon Keepers and Yakushi? It was strange. Not because of the way they won - Yakushi's power was built up as a superfan of the series, and as in any Power Rangers-style series, no matter how bad things get, the heroes eventually gain enough power to win. But the way they handled it? constant time jumps. One moment Red was just starting to fight, and the next Hisui had already come up with a plan complete with all the Dragon Keepers to take down Yakushi. They showed a lot of things at the end, D spent a whole year locked up waiting for Yakushi to starve to death, while Angel waited for him. And I wouldn't be surprised if Hisui also had feelings for D. Yumeko priestess with clones. Then there's Hibiki, XX, the merged invader and Shippou -who, despite being an idiot, doesn't seem to be that far from being the White Keeper- all united to reveal the truth behind the organization. Honestly, all this makes me wish even more for a third season... but with a much better pace. |

Yakushi created a unbeatable monster of his ass and still left a glaring weakness, great commitment what a fan. Now enjoy your starvation while chatting with your idol. Good enough antagonist with goated va. Looks like Red took all the credit and most of the hardwork is undone as people maybe more pro rangers now. Hopefully fighters contribution isn't forgotten. Yakushi atleast was successful in increasing human monster cooperation even more. Now we got another ship in Sakurama & XX lol. | So... the bad guys won... (Keepers) Since people still have no idea about the truth of what the Keepers have done and now is going back to worshipping the Keepers... And with the Boss Monsters now dead (including the supposed strong monster now trapped by his own creations and weaknesses) And the fact that the Keepers are still abusing all the other monsters/ fighters and still doing inhuman experiments... I don't think Fighter D has really done anything to downgrade the Keeper Force at all. Especially with the fact the Keepers are still killing their own allies for their own greater gains. (even the "new Keepers" that seems to be more "good" still follows the evil ways anyways, meaning they'll just becoming corrupt over time) The Keeper Force pretty much has lost nothing, since the Trainee Rangers can easily be recruited again, and Divine Weapons created... While the Monsters are all just dying and Fighter D pretty much isn't really doing anything, LOL. In fact, Fighter D didn't really kill Blue Ranger, as he only took the final blow on the weakened Blue. (who is now replaced by a new Blue) And even Red... he didn't actually do anything to him. (and now Red's the "idol", they literally made him look like the greatest Hero) . AKA Keepers = +3 (new Keeper, Red surviving, back to being worshipped as Gods) Monsters = ―5 (dead bosses) Fighter D = 0 (didn't really do anything beside slap-jacking and pushing around to do final blows) So... where was this series that's suppose to be about taking down the Corrupted Keepers go? All I am seeing here is the Corrupted Keepers keep on winning. Guess we're going back to the original trope, that "Rangers always wins" (in any Sentai series) |

| It went completely downhill after they left the school illusion, I'll switch to the manga and read all of it after that arc but I regret watching the rest because now I'm not going to enjoy it as much, unbelievable |

| Felt like lots stuff has been skipped in the manga, usually i'm fine with it but this is too much lmao. The worst offender was how the fuck Urabe suddenly onto the floating ship and befriend the duster there? But i still enjoyed this overall, will definetely check the manga for this. 7/10 |

The last 3 episodes felt so rushed and were missing a lot of context I felt. Can someone help me answer these questions?
1. Why was Eigen Urabe up on the floating fortress with the Fighters and how did he get there?

| @Drizzy_Dan 1) I have no idea, most likely it was explained in the manga but since its rushed, we don't know as Anime-only. 2) Probably its going to be explained in S3 but it doesn't matter much, he's a joke as character. 3) Cuz Deathmacia starved to death, that's why they re-open the cell. You can even see his feet -I think- partially in the scene. How long D was in cell? (this is from the manga) . |

| Both Dragon Keepers and Monsters united to defeat Deathmecia. It was pretty cool to see in action. This season really flew by for me, but it was a highly entertaining and flashy series of events. Not to mention the dub was excellent as well. I'm glad to have watched. |

Season started pretty mediocre, but the final ~4 episodes were great. Maybe I just forgot things(?), but I felt like most/all of that lore and backstory was new, and good, and unexpected
