| Ah yes, the bullying the middle-aged episode. We got a sneak peek of the next band member! I assume we'll meet them next episode, but I'm not sure how that would happen. I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but I really liked how Otoha covered the bass section for Lilisa when she switched guitars with a ton of kicks to make up for the bass guitar's absence. She even built up to it beforehand in anticipation: they're completely in sync! I wonder if Lilisa and Otoha will continue to be as unhinged as they are after each rock performance. I can see it being a good formula: get into a performance, meet some idiot along the way, perform rock music, let the rock get to the brain, and bomb said idiot with the finger. I don't see enough people talking about Lilisa and Otoha's hangout scene after. I like it: it's really wholesome, and captures their friendship well. |
| Another very fun episode. Everyone just went along with Lilisa & Otoha and put on a great performance. Those 2 really went in hard on that singer. Arisu seems to finally like her new sister. That mother is very messed up in the head. |

| Well, when I’m watching these music anime I am always saying that I wish they’d improvise the music some or implement a jam section into a song, and honestly this was very close to that, Lilisa and Otoha upping the tempo pretty much forced the whole band to adapt lol, of course in reality it would take a very tight band to make this work but it was still really awesome to witness in an anime, and Lilisa switching from bass to electric guitar mid song was pretty epic as well, it really tied it all together. Now if only Lilisa knew how to keep her post-rock personality in check, because she went hog wild on that poor singer lol, what she said was hilarious but still something that will probably get you kicked out of most bands. And as expected, Alice came to love Lilisa after this, it was sweet and I’m glad Alice has appreciation for her sister now (I love how Lilisa said “melted your face off” here too, one of my favorite ways to describe great music), but I hope the plot can become less predictable going forward, it’s my only gripe with the show so far because the mo-cap has grown on me, I’m thinking this plot with Lilisa’s mom could prove very interesting so maybe that will be what I want. Besides the main plot tho, I did like the short bit with older fellas, I’m glad their relationship was mended after it seemed like they had something good in their school days. And we also got teased on one of the future band members in this one too, not sure if she’s the next one or not but I’m assuming so since she was shown already lol. Oh, and also, if Alice thinks the violin is a “high class” instrument, just wait until she finds out it’s a vital part of bluegrass lol. |

That's actually not true. In Girls Band Cry franchise there were 3 bands: real-life Togenashi Togeari, in-anime Togenashi Togeari (voiced by the IRL members) and a third pretend band who specialize in "air guitar" for motion capture. That's because video needs highly exaggerated movements for any music performance to look good. If the actual band was mo-capped while making real music, the result would look very plain.

Man I love this two for their insults more than their music😭😭 Idk if subbers were wildin or the dialogues were just that, I checked two places looks like more likely the later. I had a feeling these two degens will hijack thier peaceful vibe and it was just that. As a bonus gave that singer a good lesson so atleast band has a W thanks to them. Also just like that Lilisa completely charmed her little sister. Can't really blame Arisu seeing how cool you oneesama it's very natural imo. | The girls were rocking their butts off in this episode. It could have very well ended badly for them in speeding up the tempo like that, but luckily the band decided to try their best to keep up with Lily and Oto. I really enjoyed the reaction that the younger sister had. She went from disbelief, to revenge, and then to respect. What she craved was someone being authentic and it probably stemmed from her mother in law worming her way to become a socialite. We also saw the blue haired girl in this episode so next week its probably all about her. |

This episode was great, the setup, the music, the outcome - perfect.
And I am so glad Alice get to see her real sister, and after talking with Mom she get's it why she acts the way she does. Hopefully the two of them will keep together from now on.
I see that we already have one new member possibly joining next episode. Hopefully show will just getting more intense and awesome.

| Goddamn! Based on the set-up, I was not expecting this to be the best episode of the series so far. I mean, every episode has been great, but this was just phenomenal. Once I heard the baseline to start the performance I said, "Oh, shit. Here it comes." It did not disappoint. Loved it so much. I knew someone was going to get the insult barrage and I was hoping it wasn't any of the other amateurs they were playing with. Happy it was the old grease ball, haha. This show really fighting for my AOTS spot. |

| It's fun and all, but ironically this episode lacks punch. Everything works out so nicely without any effort from the characters. I mean, yes, they worked hard when playing, but they didn't make any effort to work with the band or the sister. They just followed the same pattern they have been and everything fell into place around them no matter how improbable. No negative consequences or more than joking consideration for blindsiding a bunch of amateurs, making a stir, being seen by the sister and 2 more people from the school, or vulgarly harassing the singer. I still enjoyed myself, but I feel like the girls would have some harsh words for a shallow anime like this. |
