| Lol did they just spoiled the Supreme King Yaiba vs Demon King Onimaru fight from the final arc at the beginning of the episode? It's nice to see Orochi animated for the first time I wish they could at least get Ryo Horikawa back as Onimaruu considering they kept Takayama as Yaiba in the remake (That and Horikawa also voices Hattori in Detective Conan as well). |
| okay this right here might be my anime of the season, it's the only one so far that has lived up to expectations. amazing animation, love how colorful it is, strongly gives off that classic shounen vibe (as to expect of 40 y/o source material), and the music is great. was worried for a second because the mc seemed like he was gonna be a lame perv but it's done in moderation luckily. already mentioned the animation but damn they are not cutting any corners there. big fan of the goofy tiger too. big stocks on this one. |

| That was quite a lot to take in for the first episode. Visually, WIT Studio brought their A-game to this. I did hear that this show had a extremely stacked list of animators but damn, this was on display the entire time and brought Gosho Aoyama's characters and fights to life in such a frenetic way. Almost too frenetic since there was not much breathing room in this episode (opening included), since I did feel a bit tired with this by the end. This gave off such 80s vibes with the story, characters and designs but visually, fits very well in the modern climate and does feel like a passion project of sorts. Definitely had that nostalgic touch to it and made me feel like a kid watching this. I don't expect Yaiba to be the greatest show ever with the best story, it might even get worse as time goes. But for first impressions, Yaiba pretty much sold what it was going to be and was brutally honest about it. |
| The animation is awesome...and overly done at some point. It doesn't capture how the original anime was a parody of samurai anime and was such a guilty pleasure. It's still a question mark if the tone will get dark for it to really deserve the sakuga fest it is getting. |

| This was amazing, i know the manga is just your typical 90s shōnen, but the execution made me speechless we need more remake like these. |
| Feels surprisingly not that oldschool. I never really watched conan cause the character designs are ugly, specially the bigass eyes but this though doesn't look bad. The animation is spectacular as expected from WIT. Really like the visuals, vibrant and neat. The story/plot is the usual shounen stuff but I like the characters. Good cast for them as well. |
