Wow this series is already peak at the very first episode, I love the dynamic between Momo and Ken, they are so funny and are romantically made for each other. Momo who doesn't believe in aliens gets kidnapped by aliens, and Ken who doesn't believe in ghosts gets cursed by the Turbo granny giving him supernatural powers. Momo awakens her psychic abilities and saves herself and Ken from the aliens. What a great start to this show.
Unexpected contexts from a shounen, with terms like "d*ck" and "s*x" just being thrown out there in the first episode alone.
And one of the robot aliens has his own..... what. XD
The granny was creepy, the robot aliens were creepy.
Momo was adorable, I guess. And the funny yet awesome reveal that his friend is named "Ken Takakura" is also funny. Good start. XD
Still.. i honestly don't know what the heck I just watched. XD
this is one hell of a first episode as I wasn't expecting rape aliens and dick stealing ghost. I love the animation and wow momo fell hard pretty fast for this guy.
Great opening, immediately hooked me in. Love the dub, everyone's voice fits their character and you can tell the VAs were really trying. I did notice that Ken dismissed the term UFO for UAP in the very beginning then while Momo was walking through the alien hotspot Ken told her to go to, he said it was a UFO hotspot. Not sure if that's a dub mistake. Everything feels like it's moving pretty fast tbh. On the bright side, the production is super high quality. The art, animation, music, even the English VAs are all 10/10.
Crazy first ep, had no idea what to expect and I still don't.
Combining aliens and the occult is definitely interesting, wondering where this could lead to in terms of plot developments.
Can't tell much of the characters just yet, but I can kinda see how it is going to work with them both clashing with each other about their different beliefs of aliens and the supernatural.
Great start! I've been a fan of the manga for years so seeing a solid adaptation is a blessing, some of the scenes were just so visually beautiful, that's what we want for the beginning of Momo and Okarun's adventures lol, starting with this kind of alien scene sure tells you how special the story is going to be
His voice super annoying, and reminded me of Kazuma from KonoSuba which is a super annoying character. I don't know if I'll be able to endure his voice whenever he goes hysterical xD
Whoa, imma watch this in five easy minutes with San Francisco rice a roni. Dis look good.
One question tho is it too cliche, guess we’ll find out. I like repeating of themes, it makes anime so comfy. Originality became untoppable and that’s how man got bored. Bring me back them family shows like full house (ok maybe not). Yeah it’s ghosty ghoulies again but I like. See what they do.
When’s JJKS3 again? Man JJK changed the game, that’s one fly ass ending, kitty doing a dance. Methinks imma like this.
Now this is what I like to see. Anime straight to the point. No flashbacks, nothing. Right into the action since episode 1. Full of humor, cool, yet unusual artstyle. No wonder everyone compares this one to Mob Psycho. Because they are both just that amazing. So looking forward to see upcoming episodes
When is someone gonna tell them that Aliens and Ghost are essentially the same thing, well... at least demons/angels would essentially be the same thing as aliens. It's just a matter of extradimensional or extraterrestrial life. But it's funny the take they have on this although a slight bit unhinged as hell. It's funny to have aliens and ghosts duking it out, it's bit more insane that both are sexual predators though. Whoever wrote this did way too many drugs but I guess we're here.
