| Beautiful, the story of how Reiko acquired the book of friends. she wanted friends and people to play games with Soko impacted her deeply, it's so sad that they end up not seeing each other after. the anguish the yokai felt for knowing but not able to tell and be heard that both girls cared for each other and wanted to be closer soko not seeing the flowers, her being sick and not coming after but reiko misinterpreting... ugh |

If things had gone well, she would have become friends with a girl who was about to break through the barriers she had built around herself to keep people away. | I wish we knew more about Reiko, besides the brief glimpses we have of her. More Reiko episodes would make me happy. At least now we have the origins of the Book of Friends. This particular Reiko episode is amazing and this one with that tragic misunderstanding made me cry. |

| nice backstory on how reiko started gathering yokai names & established her book of friends. but it was sad for all three parties involved that they never received any closure after reiko told soko her real name. |

Hmm it was good but I don't think it was as good as other Natsume seasons, I think manga is better in general. Also am I the only one who thinks that anime Natori doesn’t do justice to the manga Natori? I don't know if it's his voice or sth but Natori is my fav so I always notice that there's sth off about anime Natori compared to the manga one.

| Brought to tears in this episode. The loneliness and understanding of true beauty in the world and relationships however fleeting they may be, being able to hold so many feelings. The music, the animation. I dont know if there will be another season or how far off that may be. I love this anime so much its crazy. |
