| Invited by Natori, Natsume and Nyanko-sensei visit the old Izuma residence. Chasing after a piece of flying cloth, they end up at the Miharu estate nearby. There, the Matoba clan is preparing a ritual to welcome the Miharu family's guardian deity, the Three Pillars. By chance, Natsume and his companions inadvertently disrupt the preparations and offer to help as an apology. However, it seems there’s someone within the estate intent on sabotaging the ritual. |

| A cliffhanger and the first one this season. This house is full of mysteries and i wonder what will happen next seeing all the main characters are in trouble now. It seemed like the day wasn't as relaxing as Natsume expected. |
| Natsume, Natori-san and Matoba in one (two) episode??? sign me tf up! I really love the relations between the three of them, as well as the continuity of episodes from the season. Natori's song theme reminds me of pokemon osts... |

| Loquats...the first thing that comes to mind is the fruit wine that my parents used to make with them. Maybe that's what Nyanko-sensei wants them for, or to just eat them as they are since they're sweet when ripened. "Shirotsumenokimi" I think means "white fingernails", although I could be wrong. The Miharu mansion...That was rather intense for a normally easy-going and laid-back series, although since we only have a few episodes in the season left, we must be approaching the climax. That rusty blade popping out of the mask and nearly stabbing Matoba in the head, the dangerous traps in the house, and the creepiness of the yokai who's sabotaging the welcoming ceremony...this episode tickled my senses more than usual. Really looking forward to next week to the 2nd half of this two-parter. From the episode preview, they showed Natsume reuniting with Natori...I really hope Natsume learns some exorcism techniques one day, at least for self-defence...a solid straight punch can only do so much against a myriad of different dangerous yokai. |

| Loved the episode, refreshing to see Natori, Natsume, and Matoba working together again despite their clashing ideals over yokai. All the Yokai designs in this ep were aesthetically unnerving. Cannot wait to see what yokai appears for the ritual next ep! |
