| This series just sucks. It has a promising start but made me careless since the time-skip. Nagi is amongst a solid character in this series without a doubt, just that she vanishes in the middle. The ending of this chapter is pretty bland, and this is coming from someone who expected a time skip ofc. |
| I hate open-endings the most. It feels rushed, unfinished. I don't wanna imagine what will happen and then have a clash of ideas with someone else who has a different view on what happened. I want a LEGIT conclusion that wraps every story and shows what happened to every character. But in the end we only got to see the conclusion for like 4 characters, The mother, writer, and MC's friends. No idea what happened to teacher, Nagi or MC, just have to use your imagination lol. Also no idea what happened to MC's brother, I thought he was a pretty good character but the author didn't lead us anywhere with his story. Other than the lackluster ending, the series itself was pretty good in the beginning (special thanks to Nagi for being great). But then it gradually became less and less interesting and then some things didn't make sense to me, like the teacher romance. |
| The ending was pretty disappointing in all due honesty. Although, to be fair, the whole story's been a trainwreck from the get-go to begin with. I feel like this ending doesn't resolve anything, and it just leaves me more confused than anything. |

| Well, this was extremely disappointing. The story had its flaws all the way through, but an abrupt vague and unsatisfactory ending like this is by far the lowest point of the entire manga... And I thought Domestic Girlfriend had a bad ending! |

| Well, it seems that the extra pages from the final volume, dedicated to ch. 183, neither improved nor worsened the ending. Just as expected, they were just nice additions expanding what was already presented in said chapter. They were okay, I guess. While most of 'em wasn't necessary to understand the final chapter's content and felt like just showing elements that were heavily implied earlier, they were alright. Like I said earlier, not good enough to significantly improve the overall experience, but also it's not like they made that chapter feel or look worse. They were just fancy additions, more details included to the story. That's it. That being said, I really liked the double page with Nagi and Reiji facing the sea and holding hands. What is the meaning of this? I guess it means whatever you want it to mean. I like that kind of open endings. Sad ending? Happy ending? Bittersweet ending? All interpretation belongs to a reader, and none interpretation is necessarily better than others. |
