| I do have brainrot diagnosed, but man this anime is sooo booring. I even wasted a couple of beers on it thinking it might get funny if I was drunk. Every joke is predictable af, and the punchlines are always too late. Also as a rule of comedy, don't pair a sane character with nonsense characters for comedy, this only makes the characters stupid and over the top. If this anime was truly funny, then there would have been tons of memes already, yet the only meme circulating is the 1 hour opening pushed by the PR team before the release. Such a L for an anime engineered to have as much meme potential as possible. Even the score is skewed by the bots giving it a 10 (score distribution 99% of the time follows a bell curve, yet we see an unnatural amount of 10 scorers) |

Knew this was not for me from when I first heard about it but man this is even worse than my already negative first impressions. Again, comedy is subjective but shows that try to be extra 'funny' in a brainrot sense without absolutely nothing else is the worst for me, feels really outdated and tough to watch due to how unfunny it is as a result. Pop Team Epic seemed wacky but got very boring very fast, and the same applies for this one. Feels like a random one-off episode for this makes more sense than an actual TV anime weekly for it. The marketing and promotion has been more impressive than anything about the actual show itself.

Kinda wanna know who is the mastermind behind TWIN ENGINE's marketing and YT videos for this anime, because they've been crushing it lately. The whole first half of the episode between Koshitan and a CGI しか was pretty legendary, especially now that we have the whole sequence of Koshitan dancing instead of the original 1 hour loop that was posted before the anime started airing. And man, with that Bully Maguire dance reference, this show just loves to keep one upping itself with meme references that it is just perfection. As for the second half, I'm already loving this new character. Her introduction of sleeping on the steps of the Deer Club room and just the mountain of rice she holds resonates with me for some reason–she's definitely my spirit animal. With episode 3 out of the way, looks like the gang's all here, but there's definitely some competition brewing as Neko-san watches from the outside. Personal side note: Does anyone know why Shikanoko has a fear of plastic bottles? I haven't really understood that aspect of her character. I’m in UK, older people have told me that putting bottles of water around my garden keeps cats, foxes and badgers away. I have no idea how or why that would bother them, and have never seen an animal that gave a shit about them. |
| Yeah, this is gonna be a drop. These last 2 episodes are just NOT funny at all, it's kinda ridiculous. Then again, most of us are probably expecting too much, considering the show got really lucky with it's meme 1 hour opening, which brought in a way bigger audience than anticipated. | Yeah I was also going to drop the show after this episode but they teased several more characters at the end so I'll give it one last chance to improve. |

| This show was made for people with ADD and on Spectrum because what tf did I just watch in the first half of the episode 😭 did Koshitan try to fuck a deer and did we need 10 minutes dedicated to her talking to a deer man lmaoo. Some of the stuff didn’t land today, but Bashame joining the club was hilarious. I feel bad for Koshitan because now she has not 1, but 2 absolute dumbasses she has to keep in line and to make things worse, Bashame idolises Nokotan. The literal worst role model you can have as a functioning member of society lmao. Anko showing up and going full Yandere when she saw Koshitan and Bashame together was great. Things are going to be absolutely ridiculous now that she’s in club too. How is Koshitan gonna keep all these people in line? Coming up with things for club to do to actually seem like a normal functioning after school is damn near impossible because all Nokotan cares about is taking a bath with crackers and Bashame just wants to become a fucking deer 💀 and Anko just wants to fuck her sister. GG The hair brushing scene has me in tears man they’re gonna make Koshitan lose all her hair with all the stress of keeping them in line. And of course people decide to visit the club to see what they’re doing on today of all days 😂 good luck getting new members |

| yeah this show definetly isnt bad but i dont think the comedy it has is for me. i get a small laugh here and there but for example the whole beginning portion with koshitan and the random deer was honestly really boring bestiality  |

| 3 episodes in. First episode is pretty hilarious/ creative, but the following 2 episodes feel a bit dry in terms of comedy. It's as if they want you to force you to laugh or something, the comedy becomes quite stale and forced with the repeated trend. It just doesn't has that natural flow of comedy from Kunosuba with the current characters introduced to us. The Deer girl is fine , but the two new members just feel pretty boring and cringe. This type of show seems to run out of its magic after one episode cuz there's simply no story to support it, and the repeated trend turns into cringe forced comedy in the end. Best part of this anime is the OP and that deer horn breaking the wall scene, rest of the anime is pretty mid. |

| I was thinking "No way this show can keep up with its comedy after three episodes", but boy was I overestimating. Each episode feels duller than the last. I actually liked the first skit, even though it was overstretched. New character doesn't feel like anything to look forward to. We already have a empty brain character in Nokotan. Then a yandere imouto with a single themed gag. And then there's this pseudo deer eccentric who's rng comedy. Only occasional visuals, out of hand references and VA performances carrying this show right now. |

| Koshitan's rap and dance was great cringe humor, but I didn't find much else funny or interesting. I'm out. Still, the trailer and the OP will live on in my memory. |

| @Kuterisu Just go watch ep2/ 3 and you'd see why. I'm getting quite disappointed rly, given how good the op and ep1 are. Was expecting Asobi Asobase type of comedy on this show, sadly the characters in this show are just not as interesting as the trio of Asobi so far. |

| Unfortunately the comedy still isn’t hitting with me for the most part, I did like the Nokotan deer mecha bit and there were some good references, but references do not equal funny to me lol, they are just good references. That being said, I did find this to be a fun and cute episode, Koshi going up against that deer because she thought it was Nokotan made for some fun scenes, I know people are memeing on the deer back shots thing but I especially like Koshi’s song, I wasn’t sure if that dance would be in the anime or not but I’m glad to see it here, the song was cute too, my only complaint is that I think the bit went on a little too long but I still liked it. And with the first years joining the school now, not only did Anko join the deer club, but a new girl Bashame as well, and she seems like she’ll be a good addition because I enjoyed her moments so far, her design is cute too, she looks like she’s high 24/7 which I also like lol, I’m sure she own some Phish albums. And at the end of the episode we got teased on some upcoming new girls, they look interesting so I’m looking forward to the next one. Also, from now on, I think I will stop commenting on whether I thought an episode was funny or not unless something is especially hilarious, I hate feeling like the comedy police lol, especially because I am often on the end of comedy shows where I think it’s funny but everyone else doesn’t, so I don’t want to rag on what everyone else is enjoying too much |

| You assume adding more characters would add more variety to the jokes but the comedy kind of falls flat for each of them. The Bully Maguire parody was pretty amusing but the entire bit was not really. It looks like we still have a few more new characters, let's see if they can offer better because the current cast right now isn't. |
